God is raising up like-minded, on-fire, spirit-filled believers from every current generation, who love the Lord and want to follow Him all the way, I want to encourage older believers like myself who have seen the vision and have been patiently praying and waiting in faith.
Let experience join energy
This is the day when God is now calling you, the current day Caleb generation, to arise with a new generation of young people to take the promised land
Older people like me are a part of the Caleb generation, and we are there for the younger, newer believers. We need each other. Young, on fire believers give us hope, and hopefully our experience and steadfastness, by His grace, in our walk with the Lord is helpful to the younger believers.
God is raising up both in this time of awakening before the end, as He prepares His Glorious church. Remember Caleb and Joshua brought back the good report when Moses sent them in to check out the promised land. They saw the vision. When others didn’t, they hung in there strong for 40 years anyway. Joshua became the leader, succeeding Moses, but Caleb had a significant role for His part of the promised land.
I am just as strong today
When you get a chance, read Joshua 14:6ff. In vs. 10-11, Caleb says, “...So here I am today, eighty-five years old! I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.” Well, you may not be 85, but you may have received a vision from God years ago.
I am just a youngster at 78, but I was spirit-filled, caught on fire, and saw the vision over 40 years ago. And, by His grace, He has kept me strong through a lot of ups and down these many years for this day.
This is the day when God is now calling you, the current day Caleb generation, to arise with a new generation of young people to take the promised land. Together you will help to build the glorious end-time church and advance His Kingdom in the here and now.
Our waiting and prayers have not been in vain!
