Wild and Weird is a collection of articles from many Los Angeles newspapers. The book contains more than 100 articles describing the early Pentecostal revival in Los Angeles. Practically every article dealing with Azusa Street and early Pentecostal movement from 1906-1909 are included. Articles deal with William Seymour, Charles Parham, Joseph Samle and many other early Pentecostal leaders. The book contains many illustrations, some from the period newspapers and others that Martin has collected over the years. Wild and Weird is Volume 9 in the Complete Azusa Street Library. This is the first book of its kind ever published. It gives the reader a different perspective of the revival in Los Angeles.
