Why Go To Church??? A dear friend of mine recently posted on their FB page why they did not need to go to church. This was my response. Please light up this wall with your response to the question, “Why Go To Church?”

O Christian Saint. I thank God, Jesus died for Facebook. Satan never sends anybody to Hell. A group of Sinners makes for Comfort. Yes, this is coming from a Preacher. When we can, it is good to find and seek the fellowship of other Christians. Jesus died for the Church. He is coming back for a Sinless, Spotless Bride. Forsake not the Assembling of yourselves. Encourage one another. You may not have had a bad week, but others would love to hear testimony from other Saints that have fought the Battle with the Devil this week and won. An opportunity to prepare for next weeks Battle. Not every church is perfect. Not every Saint is an Angel. But God calls and tells us to try. If your Testimony before Jesus is I worked all week, and I’m to tired Lord, to go to Church, then what is His response to us. Just getting out of ICU is a good reason. Staying out because of a Preacher, or Deacons, or Piano Player, or the Pew is too hard is another. God has a place for us to Worship Him. A Congregation we can submit our lives too. A place where we can find shelter and Peace. The Devil will never argue with us for taking a stand about not going to Church. But try to tell the Devil you are going, and all Hell breaks loose. When is the last time you took a stand for God. Taking a stand for God is not rejecting the Church, the Bride of Christ. When is the last time you put Him first in your life. He is coming again. I believe soon. He calls us all to His side. The World did not give it to you, and the World cannot take it away. How much does an able bodied Christian need to go to church. Every time the doors are open? Once a week? Once a month? Once a year? In the olden days, most people could not go to church. It was a privilege. Today the excuses are much fewer. In those days most people could not read, did not own a Bible, had chores that had to get done, did not have a close enough building to fellowship in, did not have a Preacher. Brother what is your excuse today. Jesus died for my Bass Boat, My house Payment, my Lake House Payment, My new car, my new clothes, my Credit Card Bills. In some countries people risk their lives and families just to go to Church. Some people make it an all day event, just for the chance. Some people will walk ten miles to find Hope. If you don’t see God’s guiding hand in your life, then don’t go to Church, because you don’t need to Thank Him. The Church is not a Building. That is true. But it is a Fellowship of Believers. Are you a part of the Called out from among the World, then you are a Believer, and you crave true Fellowship. I have stood beside family members many time trying to get their departed into Heaven. They assure me they went to Bible School when they were a child. Is that enough to get to Heaven? Jesus knows ours true hearts condition. I’m not flaming you. I’m going to post this on my wall. Read the responses there of those who agree and disagree. I Love you … , and I tell my kids the same thing. Jesus loved you enough to die for you.

    Guest;

    My friend corrected me. Here is her edited response, because they deleted the original:

    I did not say that I “didn’t need to go to church” .. I said that going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, nor does going to a specific church. Some of the most hurtful people are in churches. Some hurtful people are pastors (NOT saying you are hurtful). I can pick where and when I want to go if I feel like I’m being disregarded because someone doesn’t like my choices, decisions, or service animal. I am me. And I’m not going to change who I am just because someone else doesn’t agree with it. I. Did. Not. Say that I didn’t need to go to church.

      via regeneration one is assimilated into the spiritual body of Christ. Via sanctification one is assimilated into the body of Christ on earth.

      sanctification one is assimilated into the body of Christ on earth.

      cannot be true since it says
      no one shall see God without holiness

      sounds much more than just on earth if you ask me

      Link is well known for cross posting false information through the years It’s nothing new but calling ppl dead and Earl someone’s dad just by “I read” is not much of a conduct

      Troy Day So you disagree with that?

      I try to be careful about repeating stuff, and I should take what you say into account. I am basing this on media accounts— and there is a lot out there on this– of DE accepting this as a fact and discussing it in interviews.

      But you may be right. If i haven’t heard the witnesses directly, perhaps I should not have posted, not with names. I’ll consider what you say. The chances of this being bearing false witness, though, seems extremely slim, but I should not gamble.

      Not sure what this has to do with cross-posting. And I am not known for cross-posting false information. The quote is from their website unless someone faked that. Btw, this appears to be in the wrong thread.

      I disagree you posting info that states I heard or I read without any proof It is a pure way of discussion IMO
