[Where are you? Not, in what place? But, IN WHAT CONDITION? “Is this all you have gotten by eating forbidden fruit? Why would you disobey me, and then hide from me?” Those who by sin have gone off course from God should seriously consider where they are; they are afar off from all good, in the midst of their enemies, in bondage to Satan, and in the high road to utter ruin.] “Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and THEY HID FROM THE LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “WHERE ARE YOU?” (Gen. 3:8-9) [The Lord God created Adam to live forever, but now, because of this act of disobedience, man would grow old and die; struggling for his existence. Oh Lord help us to be obedient to our Heavenly Father!] “To Adam he [God] said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life…By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; FOR DUST YOU ARE AND TO DUST YOU WILL RETURN.” (Gen. 3:17-19) [The grand subject of the epistle of Romans; is specifically written, to show the absolute need of the Gospel of Christ, because of THE UNIVERSAL CORRUPTION OF MANKIND; which was so great as to initiate the justice of God, and call aloud for the punishment of the world.] “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–HAVE BEEN CLEARLY SEEN, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.” (Rom. 1:18-21) [Thank you Abba Father for giving us your only begotten Son, Jesus our Lord!] “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which WE NOW STAND. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” (Rom. 5:1-2)
