Bob Jones’ replies to missing names, the riddle, & the lost generation…which would complete the 13th to the 14th & the total of 41 to 42. In say I ng that the name ‘Jerchoniak’ (sp) mean ‘God rises up’ as referring to the missing generation, they fail to take the whole of God’s truth into account. "In Matthew 1:2-6, there are 4 women, beside Mary listed. Thapar was a Canaanite; Rachab was from Jerico; Ruth was a Moabitess, & Bathsheba was probably Hittite. God’s mention of these women signals His intention from the beginning to include Gentiles & women in His redemptive plan (ie-Holmans King James Study Bible, pg.1576, study notes 3rd parg.)". Therefore, theses people are the answer to the riddle of the missing generation…God will raise up Gentiles & women to redemption. Besides, how can there be another ‘generation-name’ between Josias & Jechonias, when Jechonias was Josias’s son who had the next generation? No, they were carried away into Babylon, where they would ‘live’ God’s word & teach it to the generations born among the Gentiles in Babylon (whom God used to punish Israel & to help get them back home after 70 years to rebuild the temple). God’s word & truth was growing & would continue to grow among the Gentiles around the world into the future & present time. We…you & I…are. the. missing. generation. of Jesus! As will be any other nations, peoples, & religions who believe on the name of Jesus Christ (everything about Him from conception to resurrection), accept Christ as Lord & savior (in their hearts, minds, souls, & lives), confess Him to mankind as The Lord, confess their sins, be baptized (as a symbol to all that they die & are buried to their old life & are risen as a new person, whose sins have been washed away by Jesus’s sacrificial blood),& turn away from their old life to live their life for God as the Holy Scriptures instruct us.
