Watching Rod Parsley for the first time in many years. He’s definitely changed in some ways. As normal, the morning service is very “vibrant”. They talked about the anointing and all. How can you tell the difference?
The anointing should be to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
Christ went everywhere doing good and healing the oppressed at the same time He was afflicting scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees. He is after all the Christ(anointed one)!

If the annoiting is defined as the power of God on a man or thing for the purpose(s) of God(not man) your observation is spot on…
It is not only lacking or absent ftom modern day worship and worship leaders but it is lacking in ALL…
Annoiting speaks of itself it doesnt need to be stirred up….to be roused up as some have the tendency to do…with vehemence of speach or the shaking of the body shoulder and neck…or kick start it with music..
The Bible says where Jesus was there was the ” presence of God” to heal many….not a whiff of Cologne for many to sniff (Joe Absher am within civility in this, no bad language..).

Troy I see a lot of enticing words of man’s wisdom in modern day teaching and preaching than a demonstration of the Spirit and of Power..

Troy Day in your modern day Church lately the emphasis has been a worship service that looks like a modern-day concert, when the emphasis is on how loud your worship service is it lacks the power and the presence of God, when God is in the midst of the church in either the worship or the preaching and the power and the presence of God will accompany them and when this is present rather than Talent the anointing of God will break the chains. You don’t need a laser light show this is not anointing!

Fake anointing and hype is nothing new. At some point it has to be alright to say “that’s it.” shut it down and move on. It is a bitter pill to swallow. But at times it is necessary.

EVERYBODY nowadays even the world have information on ” anointing” and it is peddled as a special trade mark of Pentecostals…
But is it there? The REAL anointing not fake or hype as Joe Absher puts it..
If Troy Day had a drop of genuine anointing on him, the whole of USA would be gathered at his house seeking solutions to their problems.
The Bible says in Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power..amd how he went about doing good, (I believe He didnt use the anointing to build a house or purchase a farm or a chariot……
There was no enough time for such things for Jesus spent whole nights alone on the mountain praying…
We are yet to see real anointed men and women of God..
Troy do you a have a list of genuinely anointed men and women of God….as Jesus and as the apostles were?..

Isara Mo They wouldn’t be gathering there , because the Anointing was there , unless they had a hunger for the anointing. Satan has come in and down wild , or bad seed. And their hearts has become harden. They will fight until the last minute to get rid of the real anointing. The Bible said Ther that hunger after Righteousness , shall be filled. But the devil has harden men’s hearts , as the Bible says will happen in the last days. Where is the anointing gone. It’s gone to those that see the clock counting down. They don’t want to be ready , nor. Do they want anyone else to be ready. Any one who doesn’t have The Anointing. Better get it.

Isara Mo I meant to say if they could see the clock counting down. Then they might get in church. But as it stands. Wild seed has tried to put out the anointing. Because they are to busy with their minds on the world On things that will pass away. But give them a little time, as they see things began to happen. Then they will start to changing or at least some of them. I meant to say , they might Chang if they could see the clock counting down. But Satan has blinded their eyes. All they can see is a good time. But when , and I believe has started. See the things a short way ahead. It will cause some to change. But now. Many doesn’t want much to do about living for God. Let me make my money , spend it like I want to. But like the Parodical son. When they spend all , waste time and things away. They get in with feeding swine food. Then they might want to come home. I get things on my mind. And write to fast. And end up not making things real clear, like I meant it to be.

Here is one example what is traditionally called a type of the holy spirit. My understanding is Christ is the anointed one. The anointing giving evidence of his divine call and purpose. (Ref. Deuteronomy 28:18)
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” – Acts 10:38

Quiet a bit of difference. The anointing , Jesus brings down and it’s real. An emotional high , must be something you work up yourself. The anointing comes from God. And no one can bring it but God. There’s a big difference in the real Spirit of God , than something worked up. What are you going to do? Let the church die because we’ve had no spirit in it , because you think when God is moving , or if it’s just an emotion. That’s like trying to put out the real fire because of wild fire. That is exactly what happened I believe. When we were having deep moves of God. Some thought it was wild fire or emotions. And some of it might have been emotions. But while trying to put out real fire. They put out the real fire. I had rather be in a Church that had some emotions , than be in one that just sit there and died. What happened. People stopped praying , real praying and fasting and got lazy. Just doing your regular duty. I went to church on Sundays and Wednesday night. That’s my duty , so I’m ok. It doesn’t mean anything if I just sat there real quit. That’s enough for this weak. Well God isn’t going to dump it on us. He gives us knowledge to Worship , when we are in Church or out of Church you can worship God. If we are prayed up when we go to Church. We want have to pump and pry to get people to worship. The Spirit will Be There.

The anointing requires a special olive oil that you can buy from peddlers in the Old City of Jerusalem. But for it to be effective, you must pour out a lot of this oil on someone’s head and blow a shofar as loud as you can. You can also purchase the shofar in Israel. If you also want to become a prophet, you must grow a beard, wear sandals and a robe.
