What is Praying in the Spirit?

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:20‭-‬21 NKJV

When I was a youth. I was taught it meant praying in tongues. I still wrestle with this to be honest. Talk to me about it

Praying in the Spirit is praying in the Spirit period.
Whether in tongues or in your natural language.
The Holy Spirit can move upon you to pray for someone in the natural, and you will see God move in a supernatural way.
Then there are times where you will be praying in tongues and in your understanding, and you will get the interpretation of your pray language.

I was traveling a stretch of highway years back to a place that we call White Horse Mountain.
I was praying in tongues and felt in my spirit that danger was just up ahead of me and felt the Lord leading me to slow down a bit.
Low and behold a tractor trailer was rounding the turn just up ahead of me. The whole one side of his truck and trailer came up off all of it’s wheels.
The driver miraculously brought that truck back down on all of it’s wheels again.
If I would of remained the same rate speed that I was going I wouldn’t be here today.
I have been awakened at night to pray for something or someone only to have what I had prayed for come to pass.

So to me praying in the Spirit is hearing the voice of the Lord as he leads you..

That driver must have been Ricky Grimsley also driving under the utterance of the Holy Ghost

I believe that the Angel of the Lord helped that truck driver out, because that truck lifted up pretty high, and I believe that it was like 2 to three feet

May have been Michael himself Ricky?
