Its easier to preach deliverance than teach sanctification . The truth is that without godly sorrow, heartfelt repentance and faith in Jesus Christ there is no real change or lasting deliverance. the reason men arent free and dont get free is because of ignorance first and unbelief second. the where and when of bondage is rebellion to God. rejecting conviction of sin and refusing to surrender to Jesus Christ. the pride and stubbornness must be broken. the will of flesh put down. what scripture calls the circumcision of the heart ..
The promise of God is a new heart . a new spirit . a new birth . a new creation . a new man . a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit . And if you be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land. meaning, enjoying the blessing of God upon your life. a man must be ready and willing to fight the good fight of faith. desiring truth and obedience. calling on Jesus Christ. the Saviour. And to repent and get right with God. let God work in you for his glory and your good . And dont be embarrassed, get help if you need it. peace
