My dad always said..”Son, cut off the beginning and cut off the ending ….and set fire to the middle.” If you are preaching the “anointed word” through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost and it brings results, no one will look at a watch. If you are trying to show your skill as an orator, people will leave you…and they should”. Thanks Dad!

How long should one preach? If we are talking about the length of a sermon then the golden rule should apply. Preach no longer than you would want someone to preach to you. As in food or water even a good thing can be over done.
