one of the great NOTES made out there Duane L Burgess John Mushenhouse Neil Steven Lawrence NOT Larkin or Scofield but certainly for Link Hudson Kyle Williams Brett Dobbs and popish Philip to deeply consider …
Whenever someone passes away, they DO NOT become an angel! If they have accepted the free gift of salvation and are living lives that please God and their sins are covered under the blood of Jesus by confessing and renouncing them (1 John 1:9), they become a citizen of heaven (2 Cor 5:8), and at the resurrection will be given a body like Jesus (1 John 3:2). Then the Word tells us that we will actually be ABOVE angels and judging them! God sent His only begotten Son to die for YOU! Not angels, YOU! So dont sell yourself or anybody else short by saying they have become an angel. There is so much more for those of us in Christ!
1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
….“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Cor 2:9
Link Hudson the note is revealing and you should study it with a great care like Duane L Burgess recommended you do long time ago – once again the pattern in the Greek is obvious – it will be hard for you to prove Come up hither refers to a single person Are you saying John is not part of the NT church – what is he then?
You should ask John Mushenhouse WHY
Aorist active imperative of come up has not 1 but 2 plural forms here 🙂
ἀνάβητε is not the same as ἀνάβατε you see
