The 1000-Year Reign of Jesus Christ – God on earth, as King —will be centered in  Jerusalem ISRAEL where his throne will be on top of Mount Zion. The Bible clearly says all the mountains around (& on the whole earth) will be flattened during the great earthquake at the battle of Armageddon and Mount Zion alone will be raised up above everything else. The area around will be flattened so the nations will be able to come once a year to worship the King.
For those of you who are not aware of this, I assure you it is not from the Lord of the Rings, but straight out of the Bible!

Philip Williams it is necessary to connect scriptures to understand. 1. at 2nd Coming–Zechariah 12:10 “They (the Jews) will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son…” AND 2. immediately after Jesus arrives at 2nd Coming–Revelation 20:4 “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” –all believers from various periods in history will help King Jesus rule the earth during His 1000-Year Reign (pre-Rapture Saints, Rapture Saints, Great Tribulation Saints, & Jewish Saints who weep after realizing Jesus really was their Messiah (Zech.12:10).

Oscar Valdez The rapture or Rapture is secret, if we knew the day and the hour we would all prepare for the glorious event, yet many would say they would wait until that last hour and minute, to seek to go with the Lord, so that glorious day if it is secret, nor the angels themselves will you know, only the Father knows.
So all Christians believe in that glorious event, but differ about a certain timeline or approximation because we interpret the passages relating to the subject differently.
