| PentecostalTheology.comThe LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
– Jeremiah 31:3
The tangible love of God and the moving of his Spirit in street preaching. The man came right to me from across the street waving a bottle of maddog 2020. I thought he was going to hit me but he dropped to his knees in the street and started calling on Jesus. I was preaching the love of God in Jesus Christ his willingness to forgive and his power to set men free. when I left he was still on his knees praying and calling on Jesus to save him. We preached at the dope spot. the financial district. and back again to the tourists at the trolley. the foot traffic was very good today and God bore witness by giving clarity and utterance. but if theres no love its just noise and shouting. Sometimes I think its the love that gives us a pass. Its amazing though how they will fight even the most loving and kind preaching if its with boldness and conviction. Today was a good effort i think and essential . Attempting to preach everyday.. Which is often with halts and stops and real hinderance But grace won today and love I pray was heard in the mean streets. Jesus name was lifted up. Peace
Interesting note. the guy that sells reefer on the corner gave free marijuana to some young girls. 15 or 16 years old . He often threatens me but Ill try to talk to him about it.
