The Fire Is Returning to America – Ray E Horton
A Great Awakening is on our doorstep and has even begun in some parts of the world. We need to be praying, we need to be growing, we need to be the light. We can only do that by surrendering to God’s grace and love for us and letting Him live through us by faith. As prophesied of old, in these latter days, the darkness in the world is greatly increasing, and God is making the light of the Gospel to shine in the hearts of His people to drive back the darkness.

The church is being shaken, and that which is solid will stand, and the renewed, transformed Body of Christ is rising as a mighty army to take back what the enemy has stolen.
It is no one group, stream or denomination – some will rise and fall in each, as God calls forth His people. It depends who draws near, rises out of complacency, lets go of the strangle-hold of legalism, grasps onto who they are in Christ, and trusts in His grace through faith. As changed people and churches, they will no longer focused on guilt and condemnation and helplessness, but full of His glory, His Holy Spirit, deciding that they will be a part of what God is doing to change the world and allow the Greater One to live through them.
Expect the Miracles of the Mark 16 Commission
As this happens, we will see amazing things, the sick will be healed, the dead will arise, and the Mark 16 commission will be experienced around the world, even as the Matthew 28 commission will see nations discipled. What about the great falling away the Bible foresees, you say? Has that not already taken place? Look at Europe, once the center of the faith, now with only a single-digit percentage of church goers. That is a predictor of the end, and indeed the end is upon us, and God is in the process of building a glorious church, a people who will really be His hands and feet and mouthpiece.
“It’s not by your own works or abilities,” says the Lord. “Draw on Me. Don’t go down in defeat with those that are shaken off as ineffective and insignificant in My advancing Kingdom, but trust in Me to use you.”
The church in America is no longer the lukewarm church that many see. That church is dying off. And while peoples in Africa, Asia and other parts of the world have been spreading the Gospel and working miracles, the fire is returning to America.
