Charles Page [08/14/2015 12:04 PM]
we need a revival that will lead the church today out of homophobia. xenophobia and racism.
Peter A Vandever [08/14/2015 12:08 PM]
Xenophobia is one of the biggest thing I fight here. Filipinos are very much in it…. historically and culturally.
Brody Pope [08/14/2015 12:38 PM]
We just need a move of God that will rock the Church and wake us up.

As history tells it, over 100,000 souls came to Jesus in Wales over the course of nine months. Hundreds of thousands more would come to know the Lord over the next couple of years—and it all started in Moriah Chapel in Loughor, South Wales where Roberts gathered with a few youth and began to pray, “Bend us! Bend us!” and eventually “Bend me! Bend me!” http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/the-spirit-of-revival-is-quenched-when-met-with-church/

The article makes a false base-line assumption that the effectiveness of preaching in congregational gatherings should be measured by the number of conversions of those outside the Church.
Peter A Vandever [08/14/2015 4:51 PM]
Exactly, John. Jesus came to seek and to save!
Jerry VanTilburg [08/14/2015 5:12 PM]
Paul said “we preach Christ crucified” if we do that correctly we will see people saved.
Roger Patterson [08/14/2015 5:25 PM]
I agree 100% with Jerry VanTilburg, most of todays Church is preaching another Jesus another gospel.

The revival we need is in our hearts, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Each of us need to pray for revival, within ourselves
