| PentecostalTheology.comThis week we discuss the course The Stories of Jewish Christ: Among the Rabbis with professor Pinchas Shir. On the table is a discussion about the Jerusalem and Babylonian Talmuds and the difference between Midrash and Halacha. We also discuss what teaching techniques Jesus had that were similar to other rabbis and what happens to the role of Rabbi once the Jerusalem temple was destroyed.

Yeah, learn the wisdom and understanding from the synagogue of Satan. Do you know what the Talmud says about Jesus?
Jesus was Teacher in the same way as the King was a Teacher. He was never a Jewish rabbi. Reading him in a rabbinic sense is but nonsense.

Philip Williams this is what I think every time some evangelical tells me that I need to “understand Jesus in the way a first century Jew would”
Arr they wanting me to deny Christ?

Kyle Williams People are leaving this world but the sadness about it is that they died and their body will be buried and most of them will lifted up their eyes in a place called hell . Most funeral these days you go to will say how good and great the person was and that they’re in heaven . This is far from the truth , being good , loving people, going to church every Sunday will not get you to heaven. The one and only way to salvation is trusting by faith by Grace on the LAMB OF GOD JESUS CHRIST. Time is running out , tomorrow you may be in hell in a state of shock screaming, crying, praying, begging in pain and torment . Stop trusting in your good works and self righteousness thinking that you will get to heaven

Troy Day I firmly preach justification, sanctification and glorification as of God’s free Grace received by faith in Christ alone. Any good works I might do can be solely attributed to God’s Spirit at work within me

You Pentecostals have abandoned Jesus and turned to learning from his enemies! Cause you want academic respectability? Or what?
