| PentecostalTheology.comAnother Biblical word which parallels curses is “strongholds”
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 reads “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”
“Strongholds” here mean strong, well established thought patterns, imaginations and belief systems which are not Godly. They may be tenaciously held sins; they may be determined rebellion against things of God; they may just be worldly thinking. Are demons involved in curses and strongholds? Usually, even among Christians. How do we choose for Christ Jesus to set specific individuals free from such curses and strongholds? Through intercession for them!

Good book and a very nice couple. They were good friends with Peter Wagner.
