INTRODUCTION
“AND THEY SAID, WE SAW CERTAINLY THAT THE LORD WAS WITH THEE: AND WE SAID. LET THERE BE NOW AN OATH
BETWIXT US, EVEN BETWIXT US AND THEE, AND LET US MAKE A COVENANT WITH THEE;”
DEFINITIONS
In English language, the word ‘covenant’ signifies:
– Mutual understanding between two or more parties, each binding himself to fulfil specified obligations
– A legal contract -A binding agreement
– A written agreement
– A solemn agreement to do or not to do a certain thing
In the Old Testament Hebrew, it means ‘a pact made by passing between pieces of flesh’.
In the New Testament, the translation is taken from a root meaning ‘to cut’, from the custom of ratifying or confirming a covenant by killing animals, cutting them in two and having the parties to the covenant walk between the parts:
Gen 15:9-11, 17-18: “And he said unto him. Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases. Abram drove them away. . . . And it came to pass, that, when the Sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying. Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of
Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
Jer 34:18-19: “And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof. The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;”
From the root also comes the idea “to cat”, another common practice.
Tile general purpose for a covenant is providing a binding sense of commitment to doing a thing.
OTHER SCRIPTURES
1. Covenant is an agreement between two parties – Gen 26:28: “And they said. We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee:
and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee.”
Dan 11:6: “And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.”
2. Covenant is designed for:
A. Establishing friendship – 1 Sam 18:3: “Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.”
B. Procuring assistance in war – 1 king 15:18-19: “Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the
house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa
sent them to Ben-ha’dad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying. There is
a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold. I have sent unto thee a present of silver and
gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.”
C. Mutual protection – Gen 26:28-29: “And they said. We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be
now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee; That thou will do us no hurt, as we
have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou art now
the blessed of the LORD.”
Gen 31:50-52: “If thou shalt afflict my daughters, or If thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee. And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold this pillar, which I have cast betwixt me and thee; This heap be witness, and this pillar be witness, that I will not pass over this heap to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over this heap and this pillar unto me, for harm.”
D. Promoting commerce -1 King 5:6-11: “Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon: and my
servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for
thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. And it came to pass, when
Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given
unto David a wise son over this great people. And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou
sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir. My servants shall
bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint
me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in
giving food for my household. So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire. And Solomon
gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave
Solomon to Hiram year by year.”
E. Selling land – Gen 23:14-16: “And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him, My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth
four hundred shekels of sliver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead. And Abraham hearkened unto
Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred
shekels of sliver, current money with the merchant.”
3. The conditions of covenants are:
A. Clearly specified – 1 Sam 11:1-2: “Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabesh-gilead: and all the
men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee. And Nahash the Ammonite answered
them. On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach
upon all Israel.”
B. Confirmed by oath – Gen 21:23. 31: “Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with
my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the
land wherein thou hast sojourned. . . . Wherefore he called that place Beersheba: because there they sware both of them.”
Gen 26:31: “And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him In peace.”
C. Witnessed – Gen 23:17-18: “And the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the
cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure
Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of ais city.”
Oath 4:9-11: “And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi. Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said. We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephrata, and be famous in Bethlehem.”
D. Written and sealed – Neh 9:38-10:1: “And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes. Levites,
and priests, seal unto it. Now those that sealed were, Nehemiah, the Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah.”
4. God is often called to witness covenants – Gen 31:50,53: “If thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives
beside my daughters, no man is with us: see, God is witness betwixt me and thee. . . . The God of Abraham, and the God
of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.”
5. When the covenant is confirmed, it becomes unalterable – Gal 3:15: “Brethren, I speak after the manner of men: Though it be
but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.”
6. Covenant is made by passing between the pieces of the divided sacrifice – Gen 15:9-17: “And he said unto him, Take me an
heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young
pigeon. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the
birds divided he not. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove: them away. And when the sun was
going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. And he: said unto Abram.
Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict
them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they sha1l serve, will I judge: and afterward sha1l they come out with
great substance. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. But in the fourth
generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet fu1l. And it came to pass that, when the
sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.”
7. Salt is a sign of perpetuity in covenants – Num 18:19: “All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel
offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of
salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.”
2 Chr 13:5: “Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of sat?”
8. Covenant is ratified by joining hands – Prov 11:21: “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed
of the righteous shall be delivered.”
Ezek 17:18: “Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, 1o, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.”
9. Covenants are followed by feasts – Gen 21 :27-30: “And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and
both of them made a covenant. And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves. And Abimelech said unto
Abraham. What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves? And he said, For these seven ewe
lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.”
Gen 31:54: “Then Jacob offered sacrifice upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.”
10. Presents are given as tokens of covenants – Gen 21 :27-30: “And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto
Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant. And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves. And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves? And he said, For
these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.”
1 Sam 18:3-4: “Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and hiss garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.”
11. Pillars are raised in token of covenant – Gen 31:45-46: “And Jacob took a stone, and set it up for a pillar. And Jacob said unto
his brethren, Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap: and they did eat there upon the heap.”
12. Names are given to places where covenants are made – Gen 21:31: -Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because
there they sware both of them.”
Gen 31:47-49: “And Laban called it legar-sahadutha: but Jacob called it Galeed. And Laban said, This heap is a witness between me and thee this day. Therefore was the name of it called Galeed: And Mizpah: for he said. The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.”
13. The Jews
A. Are forbidden to make covenants with the nations of Canaan – Deut 7:2: “And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them
before thee; thou shalt smite the; and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto
them:”
B. Frequently make covenants with other nations – 1King 5:12: “And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and
there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.”
2 Kings 17:4: “And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in prison.”
C. Are condemned for making covenants with Idolatrous nations – Isa 30:2-5: “That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not
asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust ill ‘lie shadow of Egypt! Therefore
shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. For his princes were at
Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help
nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach”
Hosea 12:1: “Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desoltant and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.”
D. Regard covenants as sacred – Josh 9:16-19: “And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with
them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwell among them. And the children of Israel
journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and
Kirjath-je’arim. And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them
by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes. But all the princes said unto all the
congregation. We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: now therefore we may not touch them.”
Ps 15:4: “In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that swearcth to his own hurt, and changeth not.”
14. Covenants are violated by the wicked – Rom 1:31: “Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection,
Implacable, unmerciful:”
2 Tim 3:8: “Now as James and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”
ELEMENTS OF COVENANTS FORMATION
– The date
– The parties involved
– The subject or scope of the covenant
– The time and operation of the covenant
– The terms of the covenant
– The words or promises of the covenant. This could be blessing or curse.
– The oath of the covenant is shaking of hands. This goes back to blood covenant.
– The two parties come together to become one person. They are sealed together by means of that covenant. Each is a legal
representative of his people. That is, legal representative of everything one has and of all his unborn children and coming
generation.
STAGES OF A COVENANT
1. A discussion on the motives, standing and terms of the covenant.
2. Exchange of highly valued gifts, usually the most precious thing owned by the other party is demanded, to symbolise that
whatsoever one person has belongs to the other. It may be one’s precious possession which is ‘life’. One can trade this
off.
3. In the crude form of the practice, a ‘priest’ administers the covenant thus:
– Each party makes Incision on the wrist.
– Allows a few drops of blood into a cup of wine.
– Stirs the mixture.
– Shares the drink.
– Rubs the wounds against each other, so that the blood mingles.
– Gun powder is then used to rub on the wounds to form permanent dark marks of ‘remembrance’.
– The priest now pronounces the most awful curses that are to come upon anyone who breaks the covenant. Sometimes the
blessings that follow are also pronounced.
– The parties become ‘blood brothers’. They will begin to flow into each other.
CHAPTER ONE
21 HIDDEN EVIL COVENANTS
“AS SOON AS THEY HEAR OF ME, THEY SHALL OBEY ME: THE STRANGERS SHALL SUBMIT THEMSELVES UNTO ME.
THE STRANGERS SHALL FADE AWAY AND BE AFRAID OUT OF THEIR CLOSE PLACES.”
INTRODUCTION
A covenant is an agreement between two or more parties to get certain things done on conditional terms. It is a form of agreement
that is legally binding on the parties involved. A covenant made in the physical is as strong as the one made in the spiritual. A covenant is undoubtedly serious, particularly when it is made between human beings and unseen evil spirits. The consequences arc indescribably terrible. It is possible for a person to accept to go into a covenant willingly much as it is possible for others to make a covenant under untold stress. Evil covenant making is an undesirable act which after all said and done, leaves a sour taste in the mouth of those involved.
A covenant is something like an irrevocable commitment, and is like a chain binding two people together. The chain would always be dragging the partners along. The Bible considers covenant as a very strong thing, such that when God wants to commit Himself to something and He doesn’t want to change His position, He enters into a covenant.
This chapter is an in-depth analysis of 21 hidden evil covenants in our geographical environment. Before you read further, please consider the following statement from Psalm 18:44-45:
“As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. The strangers shall fade away and be afraid out of their close places.”
When an evil thing decides to go into hiding on confronting a Christian. It is afraid of something. It is afraid to face the challenge of the blood of Jesus. It is not surprising therefore that many people with sicknesses are usually relieved during prayer sessions. Why is this so? The answer is simple. The sicknesses and their demons leave because they could not face the Holy Ghost fire and the blood of Jesus When some people possessed with evil spirits go to Christian gatl erings, they usually keep their evil properties on the trees, rooftops, etc, only for them to pick them up after the meetings. They are afraid of something. When evil spirits are challenged to come out of someone, they usually protest and when they see that you are not tolerating their protest they will threaten you. When they find out that you arc not afraid of being threatened, they will beg you.
All these things should be rejected, whether it is a protest, a threat, or an appeal, Hidden evil things thrive on Ignorance. That is why the Bible cries out:
“My people arc destroyed because of lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).
Hidden curses and covenants arc called spiritual bats. Sometimes you might think that you are fighting a bird, then suddenly. It presents itself as an animal. People are covenanted in diverse ways. I’ll endeavour to mention some of the ways here.
HOW PEOPLE ENTER INTO EVIL COVENANTS
– THROUGH PARENTS
Many people have entered into evil covenants through their parents, while others inherit evil covenants from their parents. Many parents have also dragged their children into bondage by covenanting them with idols.
– YOU CAN ENTER INTO A BAD COVENANT BY CHOICE
You may decide to get involved for security reasons, so that as soon as you join a secret society you are protected. You may even get contracts and win your cases in the courts. Joining the society then becomes your personal choice. When you look at somebody in the face, and say, “Oh! handsome man or beautiful lady. I love you. Oh let us not leave each other, and so let us make a covenant.” Subsequently, you take a blade and cut yourselves. The man licks his own blood as well as the lady’s blood. The lady does the same. Though you are not witches, you have nonetheless entered into a covenant consciously, by choice.
– THROUGH THE UNCONSCIOUS COVENANT
A person may get into a covenant without being conscious of it. It may come through an inheritance. A parent might have entered into a covenant with some demons for the protection of his children. The covenant would remain a hidden evil to the children Involved. An Inherited covenant, even though an unconscious one, is as strong as what one entered into by himself.
Hidden evil covenants can be further divided into groups.
1. Covenants willingly made and
2. Covenants unwillingly made.
Know and be sure in your spirit that people can be forced to do what they don’t want to do. As such, a person could be forced into witchcraft, or an evil covenant. That is why the Bible says, “. . . when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck” (Gen. 27:40). If you are not strong, you cannot remove any yoke. If you try to remove them, your enemies will promptly replace them. The truth is that many Christians are completely ignorant of the covenants they have entered into. Please know too, that those who are not born again have already entered into covenants with the devil. It is surprising to know that a lot of people who are born again arc suffering as a result of some hidden covenants they entered into somewhere. Sometimes It is due to some actions you have taken without realizing its implications. Beloved, this is why it is not good for somebody to be forgetting his dreams.
Many people pick up their troubles from dreams. Without knowing it, people mistakenly enter into evil covenants. Bad spirits would plan the involvement of a person and before the person realizes it, he would have stepped into what he did not bargain for. In families where girls share under-wears, a sister with a terrible covenant can distribute problems to others by Initiating them without their consent.
You may then wish to ask the question. “How would 1know If my, own case is due to a hidden evil covenant somewhere?”
HOW TO KNOW THERE IS HIDDEN COVENANT
A person with a hidden covenant will have problems that are resistant to counselling and normal prayers.
• The problem will be resistant to confessing the Bible, like a man who likes to masturbate. Such a person, wherever he goes,
his covenant with spirit wives is still in place.
• Constant worry, anxiety, gloominess, and depression are evidences that something is hiding in the corner.
• Fear at all times.
• Hearing strange voices.
• Occasional madness.
• Constant harassment in the dream.
• Sleeplessness and regular terrifying dreams.
• All the addictions to tobacco, drugs, food, gambling, worldly music etc.
• There are some people now, although they are born again, yet anytime they hear the masquerade’s whistle, they are excited.
The fact that they remember their village idols is an evidence that something is hiding somewhere.

• Crying one minute and laughing the next minute.
• Unreasonable harshness.
• Excessive pride.
• Uncontrollable anger.
• Constant unforgiving attitude.
• Lack of submission to the husband by the wife.
• Late marriages and unstable homes.
• Constant financial failure despite the fact that money comes in regularly.
• Inability to concentrate.
• Unexplainable chains of failure.
All these are signs that things are hiding somewhere.
Listed below are 21 local hidden evil covenants that have turned millions of people into wing corpses.
21 HIDDEN COVENANTS
I. SPIRITUAL BURIAL
This is the covenant entered into by the construction of a coffin for ritual sacrifice. A coffin can be constructed for a person and something” taken from his body is put into the coffin after which prompt burial is done. This is called covenant of burial or covenant with death. When a small coffin is constructed for one’s sake, such a person has entered into an evil hidden covenant. Sometimes many people are forced into it.
When a person has made a covenant with the powerful spirits called the spirits of death and hell, perfect health will be far from that person. What the Scriptures say about this covenant is very terrible. Isaiah 28 verse 15 says. “Because you have said we have made a covenant with death and hell are we at agreement.” However. God has this to say in verse 18 of the same chapter; “Your covenant with death shall be disannulled and your agreement with hell shall not stand.” A person could enter into this kind of spiritual burial covenant through one’s parents. If they feel that the life of their child is not safe, they might do it on behalf of that child. This is where they will mention all the names given to that person on the eighth day. The person involved might even have forgotten about this event, but demons don’t have a memory failure. They remember everything. It is human beings who will say. “I forgot.” Demons never forget.
2. DEMONIC MARRIAGE CEREMONY
Many traditional bridal requirements take their origin from demonic worship. If then you supplied the demonic materials during your marriage, you have entered into a hidden covenant. Why do the Yoruba people during a marriage ceremony ask for 42 tubers of yam? Where does the figure 42 come from? Why do they ask for 42 pieces of a particular type of fish? Why do they ask for 42 kolanuts, bitter-kola or alligator pepper? Why do they pray with wine or alcohol? Even if God is Interested in drinking wine or alcohol, would He prefer that they should pour the alcohol on the ground? I know that my God would never eat from the ground.
However, let us look at the figures deeply: Add four and two together, they make six! Remember that 666 is the devil’s number. To cap it all, the number 42 originated from the ‘Ifa’ oracle. If you have used alligator pepper and some other fetish Items during your marriage, then you and your wife or husband have formed hidden evil covenants with powerful local spirits. You really must ask for forgiveness and break them right away. Alligator pepper and bitter-kola marriages are characterized by disagreement and poverty. Also the custom of pouring water on the leg of the new wife and spreading of wrappers on the ground for her to step on, are demonic covenants which have to be broken immediately.
3. LAYING ON OF EVIL HANDS
The Holy Bible records 14 uses of hands:
1. Genesis 48:14 – hands are used to bless the family.
2. Exodus 17:11 – hands are used for prevailing prayer.
3. Deuteronomy 34:9 – hands are used to transfer blessings.
4. Psalm 134:2 and 141:2 – hands are used to worship God.
5. Matthew 19:13 – Jesus in His divine wisdom laid hands on children.
6. Mark 16:18 – hands are laid for healing.
7. Acts 6:6 – hands are laid for ordination.
8. Acts 13:3 – hands are laid to send out missionaries.
9. Acts 19:6 – hands were laid for the in-filling of the power of the Holy Spirit.
10. Acts 14:3 – hands were laid for miracles to happen.
11. Galatians 2:9 – offering somebody the right hand of fellowship.
12. 1 Timothy 2:8 – hands are used for adoration and worship.
13. 1 Timothy 4:14 – hands are laid to impart spiritual gifts.
Therefore, laying of hands is an important doctrine in the Bible. In our local tradition, hands are also laid on people.
From these Bible passages, we can see that the Bible’s reasons for laying–on of hands are to impart blessings, authority, healing. Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, commission of ministers and for power.
Now, the devil being a clever counterfeit producer, has reversed the usefulness that we see in the Word of God. He is now laying strange hands on people to make covenants with their heads and lives. This is why the Scriptures warn that, laying of hands should not be done suddenly, but rather as the Spirit of God leads.
If the spirit of the person who laid hands on you is not pure (may be the person has an evil association or unconfessed sin), then bad things are transferred. But if you are the one laying the hands and you lack power, and lay them on a strange head, bad things will be transferred to you, as your hands then become a water pipe and evil things will start to happen.
A friend of mine told me of a preacher who laid hands on somebody and something began to move like a snake into his hands. When he saw that something was entering his hands, he called the person back and asked him to bow down for another prayer. He laid his hand again on him and prayed that the thing should go back, and the thing crawled out from his hand to the person!
If your father is a lodge member or a child of the devil, and was the one who prayed for you on your wedding day, you need to take spiritual action. The Bible says. “The prayer of a sinner is an abomination before God.” If your polygamous father laid hands on you, the anointing to gather women will descend upon you.
4. COVENANT WITH SERPENTINE POISON
The children of wickedness have now shifted their attention to hair salons. This is the confession some new converts are making now. The evil powers know that most women go to the salons and that a good number of them have no fire. Many have been Initiated through this way.
A newspaper published a story recently about one sister who went to a salon. She had already washed her hair, and while she sat under the driver, she fell into a trance. In the trance, she saw something directly opposite to where she was sitting. A salon attendant was removing rollers from the head of another customer who was sitting under the driver, and immediately all the hairs on the
customer’s head turned into snakes.
The poor salon attendant who did not have the Holy Ghost fire, was just caressing the snakes and as she did, the snakes were passing poison into her hands. When another customer came in, and this attendant touched the head of the woman, the poison entered into her head. These are serpentine snakes passing poison into people’s heads.
Why should somebody submit herself to be used as a demonic experimental animal? All the discoveries of the devil are tested on the human body. People who go about with artificial eyelashes they bought from the market, are just making covenants with snake spirits.
5. DREAM COVENANTS
A large number of people enter into covenants in their dreams without knowing it. So, eating with the dead, swimming in water, serving people you don’t know, playing with snakes, marriage in the spirit world, having sexual intercourse in the dream, and having children that you don’t have physically, in the dream are all evil covenants.
If you are always staying with your old friends in your dreams, then something is still holding you together with them. If you are always in your home town or village, something is still holding you back there. If you forget your dreams easily, you really need to pray that God will be reminding you, so as to break those things that are done wrongly in your dream.
6. RELIGIOUS COVENANTS
Kneeling down to the images of Mary is demonic. It is not Mary that people are kneeling down to, but a demon called ‘Semiramics’. Mary the mother of Jesus never had angels, incense burning, candle prayers, special use of Psalms, calling the names of Raphael, Uriel or Michael to help you, are religious covenants. Consumption of evil food everyday in the church, i.e. sugar, orange and banana, is an expressway to covenants. The more you cat, the stronger the covenants become. Prayer garments and possession of personal physical altars, bring one into a covenant with strange religious spirits.
7. SPIRITUAL MARRIAGE WITH PHYSICAL RING
If you must keep any ring in your house. It should only be your wedding ring. Please, be careful how you put it on, as it can easily be polluted by demonic powers. I know many sisters who were demonically wedded with physical rings, and found it impossible to get married until the rings were destroyed, with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
8. SPIRITUAL BONDAGE WITH NECK-CHAINS AND BANGLES
If a lady thinks that neckchains and bangles are the things that will make her look beautiful, then she must be very ugly. If she is hoping to marry a serious man of God, she must have other thoughts coming, as serious men of God will not go about looking for women with bangles.
A lot of people enter into bondage through all these things. Many ladies deceive themselves by pleading the blood of Jesus or anointing the jewelry before using them. The devil is a legal expert for he will ask, “Why is this part of her uniform? What purpose is it serving?”
The five pointed star has been an instrument of witchcraft for centuries and is called the pentacle or pentagram. When the two points are up (as in Eastern Star), it is called the sign of the goat or Satan, one point up symbolizes witchcraft. When witches want to communicate with demons, they will often stand within a pentagram and the demon will appear within a six pointed star formed by two triangles (hexagram) commonly called the Star of David.
The Egyptian Ankh (cross with a loop on top) is the sex goddess symbol meaning you despise virginity, believe in fertility rites, and worship and serve the Egyptian sun god ‘RA’ (Egyptian name for Lucifer). Many hang such crosses on their necks for protection. All the signs of the Zodiac are occult symbols. The crescent moon and star arc the signs of an initiate into witchcraft.
In the Old Testament. God gave cunning skills to the hands of artisans who fashioned the furnishings and decorations for the tabernacle. In like manner, pagan workers often dedicate their hands and work to demons, from whom they receive their skills. This makes hand carvings, and other handicraft suspect, especially if it depicts gods and goddesses (demon) worshiped in that environment. It is scarcely worth the risk to tolerate such things in our homes. let alone put them on as jewelry symbols.
The use of jewelries with such signs and symbols and others which are the properties of satan can bring demons to your home, and/or person. Pictures of owls and frogs (called unclean creatures of the night in Scriptures) have also been responsible for drawing demonic powers to focus on homes and people. God warns clearly against bringing any accursed thing into our homes.
9. SPIRITUAL SLAVERY WITH EARRINGS
Anybody who decides to become a spiritual slave, does so at his own risk. All that the deliverance minister will do is to say to the demon. ‘Come out.’ You can’t take the deliverance minister to a police station, If the demon refuses to come out. A lot of women keep demons in their lives by the Jewelry they love so much. That is why Exodus 21:6 and Deuteronomy 15:17, tell us that earring is a sign of slavery because It involves piercing of ears. These verses say,
“Its masters shall bring him to the judges and shall bring him to the door or unto the doorpost and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl and fie shall serve him for ever.”
As far as the Bible is concerned, piercing of ears is an evidence of slavery. To pierce the ears is bad enough but to decorate It is even worse. A lot of ears are deaf to the voice of the Lord because of the evil power attached to their earings. This is not Intended to bring anyone into bondage but to expose these satanic technology.
10. DEMONIC BAPTISM
All the spiritual baths by take prophets and their agents are corruption of the water baptism instituted in the Scriptures. If you have taken such baths before now, you have been baptized in opposition to the Scriptures. You need a deliverance!
11. PICTURE COVENANT
Perhaps before you got born again you posed for countless photographs with your former lover. But now that you are born again, all the pictures are not in your possession. If this person still wants you back, he can simply go ahead to tic one of the pictures with evil strings and bury it somewhere. You have thus entered into a covenant which will remain until the Holy Ghost fire falls and destroys the link and the picture; without that, It may be difficult for you to get married, or have a settled home.
12. EVIL FAMILY NAME
Think about this question right now: “Does the origin of your family name glorify an Idol?” As long as you use the name that is glorifying an Idol, problems will accumulate in your life. What is the full meaning of the names you have? Don’t you think you should check where ‘Famuyiwa’ comes from, or ‘Sangowanwa’, ‘Nwosu’, ‘Esublyl’? Do you wish to be addressed as ‘Esublyl’, that is, ‘the devil has given birth to this one?’ Check today to ensure that you do not have an accursed name or family.
13. COVENANT OF INCEST
When blood brothers and sisters commit fornication with one another, they make covenants. If a lady has ever been involved in this type of incest, such a lady would generally end up with a broken home, unless she breaks the evil covenant. The male Involved too will have Intense marital problems and possibly sexual disorientation.
14. DEMONIC CONSUMPTION
At traditional naming ceremonies, honey, sugar, water, dead rats, etc are used. These items lead to demonic covenants and Indescribable spiritual complications.
15. CHIEFTAINCY TITLE RITUALS
The truth is that all who receive chieftaincy titles need one form of deliverance or the other, and for a believer to agree to be a chief is a spiritual demotion. The Bible says that believers are a peculiar people, we are kings and we are priests. If the people of the world invite you for a chieftaincy title and you accept, thereby allowing them to put feather and leaves around your head, then you need a deliverance. The ritual would have covenanted you with some dark powers.
16. ALL THE CIRCUMCISION RIGHTS
A person circumcised in a witchcraft’s home, may have sexual covenants to break. A man might even have caused problems for the innocent women he has had carnal knowledge of, because a blood covenant has been formed with dark spirits.
17. TWINS COVENANT
Some mothers of twins bring their children into covenants, by embarking on demonic prescription of begging people for money, selling palm-oil, coupled with cooking beans every Friday. All these will put the children into evil covenants. Some twins usually make covenants with each other and this results in all kinds of trouble. The troubles come because when they enter into a covenant, strange powers enter into them.
18. STRANGE MONEY
Your enemies might have been passing strange money unto you to help you. Each time you say you are broke, they arc there. Even if you didn’t know that they were giving you strange money, you have nonetheless made a covenant of poverty with such friends. You must withdraw those money right now in the name of Jesus. Also sharing in the booty of unclean money may Invite evil covenants with the spirit of poverty.
19. COVENANT OF DEMONIC PARTIES
Many people throw demonic parties under the guise of celebrating their birthday. Many of them celebrate their 40th birthday over and over again. Whatever food Items or drinks they serve at the parties arc usually their baits. Many Innocent people have entered into covenants without knowing, simply because they ate at the devil’s table.
20. COVENANT OF FIRST SEXUAL PARTNER
The introduction of someone to sex is very important. It is important because the Bible says that the two of you shall become one body. When you then join your body to a person for the first lime, and there is blood, you have made a covenant with that person. If it is done outside marriage, that means you have gone the devil’s way. It is even worse, if the person is raped. Covenants made from sexual experiences have to be broken.
21. COVENANT OF POLYGAMY AND EVIL PARENTAL ATTACHMENT
Many people who have experienced marital problems many times, usually have a polygamous history behind them. They are affected by the covenant which their fathers entered into through polygamy. This has to be broken.
STEPS TO BE FREE
Jesus Christ suffered to release us from curses and evil covenants. The reason this was possible was His substitutional sacrifice. Jesus decided to become a substitute for the unjust for salvation’s sake.
If you remember the story of Isaac, he was about to be sacrificed to God, then God provided a ram as a substitute. Jesus decided to be a substitute for us, so that evil covenants will have no power over us. That is why the Bible says,
“He who knoweth no sin was made for us that we might become righteous in him.”
The book of Isaiah 53:6 says,
“All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord had laid upon him the Iniquity of us all”.
Galatians 3:13 tells us that.
“Christ had redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree, that the blessing at Abraham might come upon us.”
It is needless to say that good things don’t come easy. Mothers suffer to give birth to children, they also suffer to bring the children up. Christ too suffered that we might enjoy, so because at His substitution, instead of condemnation we have salvation; instead of eternal death we have eternal life; instead of bondage we have liberty, instead of the old sinful nature we have become a new creature and we have become righteous; instead of curses we Inherit blessings: instead of evil covenants we enter into covenants of blessings with God.
It will interest you to know that the devil has a photocopy of all covenants that anybody has made. Only the blood of Jesus can rub off the covenants from his own file: and that will happen now if you call on Jesus’ name. What must you do if you want to be free? I will give you five quick steps:
1. Repentance. You need to repent from whatever sins you have committed consciously or unconsciously, as every sin is done
against God. Your ignorance cannot exempt you from repentance! It does not matter whether you were aware when the sin
was committed or not. It is still a sin and you must repent.
2. Renouncement. You must renounce all those evil things you have ever done, give them up! Do so with holy anger!
3. Revoke the past covenants. You will then revoke the covenants you have entered into, whether you ever know about it or
not. Cancel them all in Jesus’ name.
4. Bind the spirits in charge of the evil covenants.
5. Replace curses and covenants with Abraham’s blessings. There must be a replacement.
Furthermore, please pray these serious prayer points. Pray them angrily and violently.
PRAYER SECTION
1. I take back all toe grounds given to Satan by my ancestors, in the name of Jesus.
2. I curse you spirit enforcing evil covenants in my life and I command you to release me, in Jesus’ name (when you have said,
this three times, begin to say ‘Release me’, in the name of Jesus.)
3. Let everything that has been transferred into my life by demonic laying of hands, loose Its hold right now, in the name of Jesus.
4. Let every serpentine poison that has been passed into my life, get out now, in the name of Jesus. I flush you out, with the
blood of Jesus.
5. Let fire fall on every spirit of death and hell fashioned against my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. I break the head and crush the tall of every serpentine spirit, in the name of Jesus.
7. Let the spiritual bat and spiritual lizard, that have been Introduced into my head, receive the fire of God.
8. Let the sword of fire begin to cut off every evil parental attachment, in the mighty name of Jesus.
9. Father Lord, reveal to me any hidden covenant that the devil might have arranged against me, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every tree that the father did not plant in my life, be uprooted, in the name of Jesus.
11. Father Lord. I electrify the ground of this place now and let every covenant with the feet begin to shatter now, in the name of
Jesus.
12. Let every evil hidden covenant break, in the mighty name of Jesus.
CHAPTER TWO
COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY
“AND THAT THEY MAY RECOVER THEMSELVES OUT OF THE SNARE OF THE DEVIL, WHO ARE TAKEN CAPTIVE BY HIM
AT HIS WILL”
INTRODUCTION
We are talking about collective captivity and we are going to read three scriptures to know what God’s opinion about captivity is.
“Thou art ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them” (Psalm 68:18).
God and the Bible agree that there is something called captivity but there is somebody who can lead that captivity captive, somebody who can Imprison the prison warder and enslave the slave driver.
“And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will” (2 Timothy 2:26).
This means that there are some people who are experimental animals at the hands of the devil. When enemies want to tryout their new weapons they use them.
“And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Hebrews 2:15).
Keep these three Scriptures in your spirit. There are different types of captivity or bondage.
TYPES OF CAPTIVITY
1. SELECTIVE CAPTIVITY
There is what we call selective captivity. I will give you an example. Somebody was walking on the street one day, and suddenly he was picked up by the police and they dealt with him. Why? He resembled someone they were looking for. After beating him up and doing all kinds of things to him, they found out that he was not the person they wanted, he was somebody else.
Another day when he was walking on the street, they picked him up again. And before he could say, “Jesus is Lord”, they had taken him to the police station. There, one woman was waiting and there were I3 men on a queue. The police asked the woman to identify the person who came to burgle her house; and she looked at the faces of the men on the queue, pointed to this same man and said, “It is him.” The man struggled before he could get out of police custody.
He kept getting into this kind of trouble until he discovered that what the enemy wanted him to do was just to lock himself up and not come out at all. This is a selective captivity. This was not happening to any other member of his family; he was the only one that was being harassed.
2. PARTIAL CAPTIVITY
There is also partial captivity. There was a preacher who had a problem which he did not discuss with people. This got him into a terrible mess. He would go to the house of a prostitute to commit sin. Partial captivity. This same man was preaching and people were getting born again.
3. INDIVIDUAL CAPTIVITY
This is a bondage that comes to a person as a result of direct satanic attack on that person.
4. COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY
This is corporate captivity, participating in evil covenant, family captivity, or group bondage. For example. In a particular family, all the men may be poor and all the women rich, or the other way round. In some cases all the women from a place may end up feeding their husbands. There could be a situation where all the women from a family have no settled home. If one of them decides to settle down. It becomes a marriage of cat and mouse, a marriage of convenience; she stays because she keeps asking herself “What will people say
If they hear that we are separated?”
Beloved, I feel sad and sorry for many thousands of people who are in trouble not of their own making. Not theirs at all. You cannot say they are the ones committing sin, they are the ones living unclean lives, they are the ones who are not sanctified. No it is not their fault.
Unfortunately, although our African culture of the extended family has Its own advantages. It also has Its own serious disadvantages. The white man who simply lives his own life, does not understand what we call marriage Introduction and engagement. He just lives on his own and has his children. That has Its own problems as well and the only white people that I see benefiting from this system are the Christians.
A black man will sit down and first of all think about relations from his own mother’s side, and then his own father’s side. When he is married, he will think about his wife’s relations, and the chain goes on like that. When a man is in captivity and marries a woman who also is in captivity, he doubles the captivity. These are serious matters.
When there is a collective captivity like this, there are only two ways out:-
1. Collective release, everybody gets out together.
2. Individuals release themselves.
There is a popular saying, “Try and save your country; but if it is not possible, try and save your city; if it is not possible, try and save your street; if it is not possible, try and save your house; if it is not possible, try and save your household; if it is not possible, try and save yourself.”
Although many black people are in collective bondage. It is often impossible to break the collective captivity. Why? Because not all who are involved are born again. Sometimes not all involved are willing to be free. To be quite honest with you, some of them enjoy the bondage. The women will say, “Me, any man that just messes up, I will throw him out and marry another one.” They are enjoying it. And the men are also enjoying it. “What I am just praying for is to build one big house with 15 rooms and put one wife in each room. So I will not sleep in one room in two weeks, I will move from room to room.” He cannot even remember to sleep on his own bed again because he has 15 other beds to sleep on. He does not know that he needs to escape. He does not understand. Not all have the knowledge.
Some in the same group bondage are collaborators. They are suffering and are making others to suffer. I remember the case of girl who confessed at a revival. She said. “Man of God save me.” She had a brother who was a medical doctor, another one who was a lawyer, the third one was a hunch-back and she was the fourth child, she said, “In our group meeting, they said. ‘bring doctor’, I brought him and they ate him. They said. ‘bring tile lawyer’, I brought him and they also ate him. They said. ‘bring the hunch back’. I thought if I took him, that meant all my brothers would be gone and I would be left alone in the world. So, man of God, save me, I don’t want to be alone.” So, some people are in bondage but are also collaborating.
Sometimes when people try to break a collective captivity, they may be biting more than they can chew. The first rule towards spiritual freedom is very simple and straightforward. It says this, Christians, set yourself free, and then you can move on. Take out the log first from your own eyes and then you can help others remove the speck in their eyes. Some of us are so emotionally carried away, and also have Inordinate affection for God’s enemies.
WHAT IS COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY
What is collective captivity? It is when a group of people are collectively caged by the enemy. They are put in collective bondage. Beloved, there are many situations where a whole family is under the influence of one single strongman. There are situations where a whole family is under a curse. There are situations where a whole family is under an evil covenant. For example, you do not need the Bible to tell you that if someone joins a demonic society, all members of his family who are not born again have already been cursed, by no less a person, than the Almighty God. If a witchdoctor curses you, maybe a man of God can say. “I cancel it.” When God issues His curse, who is going to reverse it?
The whole family may be under a spell. When someone is under a spell. It is like he is drunk and does not understand what he is doing. Somebody wilt say, “Stop! this is not normal”, but he will not listen until he does what is in his mind. When he does it and the whole thing collapses, then his eyes will become clear. This is what we call a spell. Many people are just like that. When they take their money to do businesses that are not good and are warned, they will say. “No. I am going ahead. I am convinced.” You say, “Did you pray?” They will reply, “I am not talking about prayers, this is business.” They go and Invest their money and come back threatening to
kill themselves.
A whole family or group of families could be bewitched. But the most terrible of all the things, have mentioned is when a person is put under, a curse and the enemies put a curse upon that curse, so that anybody who will set him free will also be cursed.
There-is a midwife in this assembly. Someone laboured in her hospital for three days. When she still was not delivered, she put aside all her equipment and turned to God in prayer; and eventually this girl was delivered. A few days after the delivery, someone walked into her room without opening the door, at night. The person said, “Madam, what an insult, we put somebody in bondage and you went ahead to set the person free.” Because of that the person began to rain incantations on this midwife. The woman, who had received some drilling in fire prayers said. “It is written, speak the word, it shall not stand.” Then this strange agent fell down and later ran out. So the enemy had put a curse upon a curse. This is why, sometimes, when some people need help and they come to a man of God, the first thing the enemies do is to upset the man of God. It is part of the curse. The person that should help will get angry and run away. I hope you are not like that.
Just as a blessing is a gift, a curse is a debt. There will always be a harvest of evil when curses are placed on a group of people. Beloved, take a good look now at all the members of your family, one by one. Take first of all the children of your own very mother. Forget the fact that your father has many wives, focus on your mother’s children. When you have finished doing that, look at the children of your father. Look at all the males in your family, look at all the females in your family, check them up thoroughly. Do you see a trend running through? Do you notice that all of them have disrupted sleep? Or they sleep-walk? Are they terrible sleepers? If any believer needs more than one tap to wake up, he needs a deep deliverance. The angel of God will not beat you, If he wants to talk to you he will lust tap you. If you do not feel it, he will stand there looking at you. When God tells the angel to tap you once and speak and it is at that point that you are snoring deeply, the angel will look at you as you refuse to wake up.
The angel might come and softly call your name twice, “Samuel, Samuel.” If you do not wake up, It is finished. Such a person needs a deep deliverance. How can a believer say, “The moment I fall on my bed, that is it.” You wake up and someone says. “What did you say?”, and you say. “I said nothing.” Somebody has removed your spiritual memory so that you cannot notice what you should notice. Have you noticed any evil trend among your own family members? Do you have nightmares? Are many of you depressed and unhappy? Are you alcoholics? A lot of men and women are alcoholics. Some get drunk Inside their rooms, some who have reached an advanced level, who are for destruction by household enemies, do their own on the streets. Has any of you committed suicide? Has any of you been Involved in regular accidents? At what age did they die?
I prayed for a man at the Old. Yaba Road Church; there were 13 people in his family and within one year 11 died. The brother was attending a church where they believe that you lust pray for your enemies and pamper them so that they can get more power. They misinterpret the words of Jesus. When Jesus said. “Pray for your enemy”. He was talking about a physical enemy not a spiritual enemy Inside you. This man was attending such church but when the 11th person died, he ran to the Mountain of Fire Church at Old Yaba Road, Lagos.
I asked him whether he was ready to die. He said, “No.” I said. “Fine, you will not die but live to declare the works of God.” He shouted. “Amen.” I gave him some prayer points and told him to forget about sleep for the next two days. I told him to get up at midnight and start the prayers. Number one, he had never seen such prayer points before in his life. “That God should ordain terrifying noises to chase his enemies away.” Anyway, he prayed and later said that since the Biafran War (he fought in that war), he had never heard such an artillery bombardment in his life, as the powers that wanted to kill him were shooting all kinds of weapon at him. He continued that an
angel was standing by his side and deflecting the bullets. He said that this happened till daybreak and he woke up hearing the sound of the bullets. Thank God he is okay now. They were in a group bondage and had been given expiry dates.
Think about it very well and check your family line. Do members of your family suffer from memory failure? Do they forget things easily, like you forget your bag of money in a taxi, or you forget your passport, and all kinds of things? This is a problem. Is there confusion in the life of any of you? Is there unexplainable tiredness? Lack of motivation? Laziness? Uncontrollable anger?
Someone told me that when his great-grand-father got angry, people would shout. “Demons and principalities are attacking today.” So, they would pour oil on a rock to pacify him.
So, start from your mother’s children. How many of them are getting on well? How many of them are in their husband’s house? How many of them are married? How many of them are alive now? How many of them have happy homes? Do you notice any trend of non- achievement? Any trend of profitless hard work? Or any trend of poor finishing?
When I was a small boy, we had a football field in our compound. We had a striker, whose name was Okanlawon. Whenever he was dribbling on the field, people would be shouting, “Lawon, Lawon” and hailing him. But there was a problem with Lawon; after he had dribbled everybody, he would kick the ball over the bar. That is what we call poor finishing. He would start well but finish badly. He got to the goal mouth and then kicked the ball over the bar.
When I was in Form two in the secondary school, we also had a striker called Obi. We won all our matches until the final one. People were then saying, “You have Obi in your team so, the other team is in trouble.” Obi would take the ball from one end of the field and dribble straight down to the other net. We did not know that the other team had a plan for Obi. Immediately we got to the field on that day, four players were behind Obi alone, as if he was the only one on the field. When the first ball was passed to Obi, all of them cleared him off the ground. Within five minutes Obi was carried out on a stretcher and that was how we lost the match.
There are people like that. Good. Intelligent people, who know what they are doing, but they have been marked for destruction by the enemy. When they move to the left, they get a light tackle; when they move to the right, they get another light tackle from the enemy who would ask them. “Where are you going?” Is this happening in your life?
Do you come from a family where the major helper is always cut off? Where anyone who wants to prosper will die suddenly? Where anyone who is building a house will be burled Inside the house suddenly? Do you come from that kind of family?
Take for example, the curse on Gehazi. He had a nice mother who wanted her son to become a prophet. When Elisha said, “The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever”. It meant that automatically all his offsprings were cursed. If one member of a family comes to a revival meeting to pray against a curse, he will receive no answer until he goes back to the curse that was issued on his father a long time ago. If you cannot gather your family as a group to pray, then Individuals who know they are involved will remove themselves from under the demonic umbrella and the others will try and do likewise.
Look at David’s household. When David sinned against God, He Issued five curses against him. One of the curses was that the sword will not depart from his house. And it is still effective today. Any child of David who wants to escape from that curse will have to accept the Lord Jesus as his Saviour, break the curse and get out. His getting out does not affect the others who are still under the curse. They too must get born again to break the curse.
Do you notice these trends? Constant financial woes? Marital failures? Rebellious children? Do you notice the trend of giant wives and lilliputian husbands? Many think it is only husbands who beat up their wives. I have examples of women who beat up their husbands thoroughly. You may say, but he is a man; what if the woman is bigger than the man?
Day dreaming. Some families are just day dreamers. Somebody will sit down somewhere and say, “Don’t worry, my millions are coming.” This same person does not go to work in the morning, he is just day dreaming. Dangerous desires, emotional imbalance and sexual perversion. Are they in your family? Think about it.
There is something called territorial curse. This means that the inhabitants of a particular area are under a particular curse, or under a particular spell. The Bible makes it clear that a whole nation can be cursed. Villages can be cursed, towns can be cursed, families can be cursed, schools can be cursed, and societies can be cursed. You can call yourself boy brigade or girl guide, yet the enemy can curse the whole lot of you together. God told Abraham, “Any nation you curse, I will curse.”
Jesus said in Matthew 11:20 – 23:
“Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for If the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgement, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for If the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, It would have remained until this day.”
All these cities that Jesus mentioned here were destroyed but they were built up again by human beings. The only one that was destroyed and never rebuilt was Capernaum. When a territory is cursed, the inhabitants are cursed. When a house is cursed, the inhabitants are cursed, until they release themselves. When a territory is covenanted, the inhabitants are covenanted. When a territory is under a spell the people there are under a spell.
I was praying for someone whose business was not doing well. God gave me a revelation that two pregnant women fought, died and were burled underneath his office. As long as that curse was there, there was no way that his business could prosper in that place.
Today is the day to reverse such collective curses, to reverse such evil covenants, to reverse such evil spells, to reverse such evil bewitchments. When you want to reverse all these things the most important step for you to take is to repent for even allowing the things to come.
We are working against a clever enemy. If you want to spread a’ thing, then you select something that everybody uses and put the thing there. If someone wants to poison everybody and he goes to the water works and pours the poison, he knows that the water will spread and everybody will drink the poison.
The enemy does the same thing. He uses things like food, water, bread and milk. If the breast of a woman is cursed, all the children who feed on the breast are cursed. If the womb is cursed, all the children from it will be cursed. Once the source is polluted, all the things that come out of it will be polluted. This is what we call rivers of iniquity flowing down to somebody. When such a river is flowing in your direction, you should cut it off. It may be coming from past generations, you must cut it off. I want you to pray that God will open your understanding on how to be free from these things.
The great-grand-father sold cocoa and died in poverty; the grand father sold cocoa and died in poverty; the father sold cocoa and died in poverty. All the others too sold cocoa and died in poverty. You look at all these evil developments and you do not do anything about them?
If an evil river is flowing to you from past generations, you have to cut it off now. How do you do that?
WHAT TO DO
1. Recognize the source of the evil problem
Do you have relatives who are under the same kind of bondage? One sister who wanted to get married used to visit her fiancé in his
family home. She noticed that there were six boys in that family and very time she got there, they were all sitting down, with crossed legs and smoking. She asked them. “Are you not going to work?” Eventually, she married one of them.
All the husband did when he woke up in the morning was to switch on the television and watch CNN till night. He would eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and would never go out to work. When It was getting close to Christmas he would say. “Madam it will not be nice if you do not buy me new clothes. I will follow you to your Church with shorts.” This woman knew where she got this problem. You must recognise the source. Try and see those who are following that trend. If you know their names, it helps.
2. Confess your sins and those of your ancestors
Your ancestors are already dead so they cannot confess their sins. You have to confess your own sin and theirs also.
3. Pray aggressively, with authority in Jesus’ name
To free your life and your children’s lives from the sins of ancestors. If however you are lucky, because all the members in your family are born again, that makes things easier. All of you can come together and have a ‘curse-breaking ceremony’, remove the corporate curse and return it to the sender, If this is not possible, you have to remove yourself from under the demonic umbrella that is keeping you away from the rain of blessings.
THINGS THAT KEEP ONE UNDER COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY OR CORPORATE EVIL
COVENANT
There are seven things that can keep a person forever under a collective captivity or underneath a demonic umbrella.
1. Unconfessed sin. If you are cleverly concealing any sin, it means that you want to remain under a collective captivity, You
must therefore confess your sins.
2. Unbelief, doubt, double mind
3. Unforgiveness. When I say unforgiveness; I mean it. There is nothing anybody can do to you that you will say you cannot
forgive.
I read the story of a pastor in South Korea, The man had two sons and one boy killed them. When the case got to court, this boy was sentenced to death. But the pastor said, “No do not kill the three of them. I will adopt the boy,” He then took the boy who killed his children, and said that he had forgiven him, When people abuse you, what does It have to do with your salvation? You say, “They are looking at me some how.” If they do not look, at you then you are dead. Not many people want to look at a corpse even if it is there relative. There is nothing anyone will do that you should say, you will not forgive.
4. Spiritual starvation. The person does not go for fellowship, he does not worship God, he does not listen to the Word of God,
and he does not pray. He is starving his spirit. All he does on Sunday is play golf or polo, gamble with his friends, or sleep.
5. Addiction. When someone is addicted to one thing or the other, getting out of collective captivity will be difficult.
6. Incomplete deliverance. A lot of people do their deliverance half way and say, “I have gone for deliverance.” What they have
done is just part of what they should do.
7. Pride. This will keep a person under a collective captivity.
A girl wanted to get married and a week to the wedding, the fiance turned up and said, “lam no longer going ahead with the wedding.” The girl asked why and he said, “They said short people are bad and I do not wish to marry a short Wife. Finish.” The sister asked, “Why is it one week to the wedding that you discover that I am short?” The man said, “That is your problem, that is my final decision.” To make matters worse for the sister, it was the lady who would have been the chief bridesmaid that the man went out to marry.
This disappointed lady said that she wanted to die. In fact she ran mad. What is madness? This is when you are abnormal. When they said, “Eat”, she said, “No, this is saliva: Where is Kunle?” Madness. It was at the point of Jumping down the stairs that they dragged her to me. She told me that she wanted to kill herself. I pulled her legs and asked her. “How much do you have in your bank account, so you can give us the money to preach the gospel before you die?”
I asked her, “How many girls are in your family?” She said, “Five.” I asked. “How many are married?” She said. “None.” “What is your position?” She said she was the youngest. I laughed and said. “Do you want to break a collective captivity like that? Can’t you see the trend?” I asked if the others were born again and she said. “Yes.” I told her to go and bring them and they all came, prayed for seven days and broke the curse.
The day this lady got married, I was not around. When later, I met her and said. “Supposing you had died?” She said. “I thank God. Glory be to God.” It was because that curse was broken that the wedding was possible.
There are some particular areas in this country where all the women have a raw deal as far as marriage is concerned.
Many of us do not know how strong those things are. One sister gave a testimony that a strongman appeared to her physically to
negotiate. The demon said “You are not supposed to marry, but if you must, let us negotiate. There is too much fire, let us negotiate.” Are you going to negotiate?
There is a great battle to fight! if you are not ready for miraculous surprises, don’t bother to go into the prayer section. Arid you have to give your life to Jesus and be born again before you can break the corporate evil covenant.
PRAYER SECTION
1. I apply the blood of Jesus to break all curses. Sing this song: “There is power mighty in the blood (x2). There is power mighty
in the blood of Jesus Christ. There is power mighty in the blood.”
2. I apply the blood of Jesus to break all consequences of parental sins.
3. O Lord, turn all the evil directed at me to good.
4. I command all powers of evil directed against me, to return directly to the sender, in the name of Jesus.
5. God, make everything the enemy has said is Impossible in my life, possible, in the name of Jesus.
6. I release myself from the umbrella of any collective captivity. In the name of Jesus.
7. I release myself from any Inherited bondage, in Jesus’ name.
8. O Lord, send your axe of fire to the foundation of my life and destroy every evil plantation.
9. Let the blood of Jesus flush out from my system every inherited satanic deposit, in the name of Jesus.
10. I release myself from the grip of any problem transferred into my life from the womb, in the name of Jesus.
11. Let the blood of Jesus and the fire of the Holy Ghost cleanse every organ in my body, in the name of Jesus.
12. I break and loose myself from every collective evil covenant, in the name of Jesus.
13. I break and loose myself from every collective curse, in the name of Jesus.
14. I vomit every evil consumption that I have been fed with as a child, in the name of Jesus.
15. I command all foundational strongmen attached to my life to be paralyzed, in the name of Jesus.
16. let any rod of the wicked rising up against my family line be rendered impotent for my sake, in the name of Jesus.
17. I cancel the consequences of any evil local name attached to my person, in the name of Jesus.

RELEASE FROM CURSES ATTACHED TO EVIL COVENANTS
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
INTRODUCTION
Curses are usually Issued as a repercussion to breaking of covenants. A lot of people who have unconsciously entered into evil
covenants sometimes break the covenants thus releasing themselves from the attendant curses. How do such people receive freedom? The evil covenants should be broken and they should obtain release from the attendant curses.
• Curses are the direct opposite of blessings. When you curse, you utter a wish of evil against a person, a thing or a group of
persons.
• To curse is to cause mischief or injury to come upon a person. To curse is to bind a person with a spell, like witches do. To
curse is to engage in violent expression of evil against others.
• Curses are words put together to torment a person with great calamity.
• When we look at curses and study their evil effects on mankind, we find that they have been vehicles of many problems.
• A curse is an invisible barrier that keeps people away from what God has for them.
You know that no one wants to be cursed, but we all desire to be blessed. This is why men quickly give approval when blessed and quickly withdraw when cursed.
When hidden curses are in place, you find yourself taking the wrong decision, and the spirit of failure will go into operation. The heart will become polluted, even as unexplainable sorrow begins to happen. Strange thoughts and desires will come into place. The person will go from one problem to the other and things will go wrong at the edge of success.
HOW CURSES OPERATE
A person operating under a curse is easy to recognize, because he will be struggling against something, which he is unable to overcome. At the point of success, frustration comes in because the person has been placed under a curse and it is limiting him, so he stops when he gets to a certain level.
If a curse is placed upon a person, that he or she will not advance beyond secondary school education, all attempts by such a person to pass university entrance examinations will prove abortive. All efforts will be frustrated because there is a force in operation which is acting as an invisible barrier to prevent the person from moving forward.
Curses bring an evil influence which could result in all kinds of evil things. They can lead to chronic frustration and problems. They can be transferred to a person’s possession. They can also be transferred from parents to children.
EFFECTS OF CURSES
– Curses Have Long Lasting Effects.
They can run from generation to generation. The curse on Jericho was not broken until 300 – 500 years after It was issued. When Prophet Elijah, the man of God came, he identified the problem, and broke the curse. And so shall all evil curses be broken, in Jesus’ name.
– Curses Have Catastrophic Effects.
A person should never hesitate to release himself from the evil effects of any curse.
– Curses Act Like A Kind of Shield.
They protect evil spirits and give them legal grounds to operate.
SOURCES OF CURSES
Curses can come from so many sources.
If a curse comes upon a person from God, then the person needs to repent and move away from what he was doing that brought the curse which only God can remove. All curses from God are as a result of disobedience. God was the first person to place a curse on a person in the Bible. He placed it upon Adam and Eve when they ate the forbidden fruit. It is still the same thing today. Every disobedience Invites curses from God and only He can remove them.
Curses can come from satanic agents, evil prophets, parents, etc.
LAWS GOVERNING CURSES
There are many spiritual laws in the Bible that cannot be broken.
– The Bible talks about the law of faith. This law says you have to believe before you can receive.
– The Bible talks about the law of life and the law of sin and death.
1. A curse does not come without a cause. Proverbs 26:2.says. “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse
causeless shall not come.” An undeserved curse will not come unless a person tolerates it. This means that when there is no
landing space, no welcome, nothing to feed upon, a curse cannot come and stay in the life of a person. When there is a
reason, the curse can come. This means that nothing can take root unless there is an underlying just reason. There must be
a reason why the curse is staying there.
2. Unless a curse is broken, it continues to operate.
3. Curses are spiritual and should be solved like that. A curse is a spiritual problem and can only be solved by spiritual means,
not by natural means.
4. Sins allow curses to stay. Where sins remain, curses remain. For complete freedom there must be complete repentance.
5. Demons enforce and propagate curses. There is no curse without a demon attached to It. It is the demon attached to the
curse that will make sure that terrible things happen to the cursed person. A person under a curse may find It hard to take
progressive steps. If such a person intends to secure a visa for further studies abroad, for example, the demon will ensure
that he does not get it. And if the person succeeds in going abroad, the same demon will ensure the deportation of the
person.
6. Christ has redeemed us from curses by substitution. He made himself a curse for us. A Man who knew no sin was nailed to
the Cross and by His death on the cross and the blood that was shed, we are redeemed from all curses. Galatians 3:13 & 14.
7. An unjust curse will return to the sender. If someone has issued a curse without a reason, it will go back to him.
8. You cannot bless whom God has cursed. Cursing whom God has blessed earns the person issuing the curse a divine curse
in return. So, do not curse whom God has blessed.
9. A curse does not affect a child of God. A curse cannot affect a child of God, who is walking in obedience.
10. A curse can be acquired unconsciously. You may not know. When a person is under the Influence of a curse, normal
prayers will not break the curse. There are thousands of people for whom all known spiritual activities seem inadequate to
influence a change, or bring a halt to their suffering. Many are fighting a battle they did not initiate. Hidden curses are a source
of real problem. Hidden curses can arise when evil covenants are unconsciously broken.
HOW HIDDEN CURSES COME
1. WHEN A PERSON BREAKS THE MARRIAGE VOW
When you break the vow and covenant of a marriage, you set a curse in motion. This is the reason why many are suffering today. When a woman leaves her husband and marries a rich man, or a man leaves his wife and marries a younger woman, a curse is set in motion.
When a man has five wives, all the others except the first one arc under curses. Young girls who go around with married men arc placing themselves under curses; because when the angel wants to bring their own husbands, they will turn back when they see the married men they are illegally hooked to. Married men running around with married women are under a curse. All curses from married women against husband snatchers work like fire. It docs not matter whether the women are born again or not. If you are going out with a married man and the Wife at home is a Witch, any curse she issues against you will surely thrive, whether you are born again or not.
2. CURSES COME WHEN YOU TREAT OTHERS UNFAIRLY
When a woman sponsors a man to school, and the man turns round to dump the woman after his graduation, the curse from the frustrated woman will blossom. When you refuse to obey your elders for whatever reason, curses come into place. When you disobey a rightful leader, the same thing happens. If a woman that comes from a rich family tries to disparage her poor husband, curses will come in place. Women should not look down on their husbands.
3. SEXUAL IMMORALITY
You may have forgotten about it. That is why the Bible has two words for sex, i.e. laid and knew his wife. While the first one ‘laid is negative, the second word (knew his wife) is positive, when the Bible says, “laid with him”, it means fornication or adultery. When the Bible says, “knew his wife”, that is the right thing. All the wrong kinds of sex bring curses.
A man that could not get any breakthrough came for deliverance. Three girls turned up in the spirit realm carrying small glasses containing liquid materials. They said, “We trapped him when he was in the university because he was going out with the three of us at the same time.” They disclosed that they collected things from his body which they kept in a container under the water. So, there was no way he could prosper. A man might be running up and down, without knowing that curses have been issued on him.
A man using his money to buy sex is under a curse. Girls releasing themselves to be used as objects of satisfaction to men in order to get a job, promotion, accommodation etc., come under curses.
A woman permitting herself to be abused sexually because of money comes under a curse.
A father sleeping with his daughter, or a mother sleeping with her son, comes under curses.
People sleeping with animals, their brother’s wives or their sister’s husbands come under curses.
A man places himself under a curse when he sleeps with his father’s wife.
Fathers sleeping with their step-daughters of parents entertaining guests with their daughters or using their daughters to get contracts, or husbands using their wives or business also remain cursed.
Leviticus 19:29 says, “Do not prostitute thy daughters”
Pasting pictures of naked women on the wall or buying calendars and magazines with such pictures puts a person under a curse.
Curses, from sexual immorality are the strongest curses and very difficult to break. They can take weeks to break during the deliverance of such a cursed person. That is why the Bible says that God is not too worried about sins outside the body as he is worried about sins in the body, i.e. fornication and adultery.
4. THE WEALTH OF SORROW
The Bible says the blessing of the lord “maketh rich without adding sorrow to it.” That means there is a wealth you can get that will add sorrow to it. All wealth by unrighteous means puts people under a curse. Bribery or stealing the wealth of the dead invite curses. There are so many relatives who jet wives and the children suffer, because as soon as husband dies; they just come and cart away his property. Such in-laws come under a curse. If you are here and you want to share the property of the dead, you have to be very careful not to get involved.
A man died and his relatives carried away everything he had. The wife begged that they should leave the fridge so that she could be selling iced water and minerals to be able to look after the children, but they refused to listen to her. They have all come under a curse, Including those who took Just bathroom slippers.
There are also curses on policemen and ‘sympathlzers’ who search the dead and accident victims and take away their money.
All those who sell polluted drug capsules and tablets are under a curse.
Whenever the Innocent is pronounced guilty, those who gave the judgement come under a curse.
When you murder someone by witchcraft, you come under a curse.
A woman thought her husband did not love her, so she gave him a love medicine which he ate and died. The woman comes under a
curse.
False acquisition of land, shedding of innocent blood, building houses on lands acquired falsely, and murderous actions for quick wealth, attract definite curses.
5. PARENTAL CURSES. This should not be overlooked.
6. SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD.
All abortions invite curses of frustrations.
A woman gave birth to a child and when she met a man who wanted to marry her, she killed the child since the man did not want to see him. Such an act attracts an automatic curse. The same thing goes for people who have babies only to dump them in unholy and deserted places.
7. EVIL ACQUISITION
Purchasing stolen Items on which a curse has been placed. This is why any Christian who buys any second hand material must anoint and pray over it. For example, a car was stolen in Belgium from somebody who sweated for is years to buy it. When that car was stolen, he removed his clothes and placed a curse on whosoever will use the car. The car was brought to Nigeria and the curse will be transferred to whoever buys it.
8. CURSES ISSUED BY SATANIC AGENTS
Such spirits arc sent to do harm. The person cursed will be doing bad things, and will chase away good people who would have helped him.
9. UNCONSCIOUS SELF-IMPOSED CURSES
People curse themselves every day without knowing it. A woman used to say, “my poor legs, my poor legs” and eventually those legs developed problems. Negative words directed at one-self is a curse.
10. TOUCHING UNCLEAN THINGS, OR ANYTHING DEDICATED TO SATAN
All things that the Bible lists as unclean should not be touched by a believer. When things are like this, there can be mental and physical illness, there can be failure, profitless hard work, defeat, poverty, and family breakup. Even when there is plenty of money coming in, the cursed person is broke.
Corruption of the reproductive organs, chronic sicknesses, bad reputation, and oppression are some of the end products of an accursed life. When the situation is like this, you need to break the curse. I want you to know that God wants us to live a curse-free life.
STEPS TO BREAK HIDDEN CURSES
1. Deal with the curse.
2. Deal with the power behind the curse.
3. Reverse the curse.
STEPS TO RELEASE YOURSELF
1. Repent from all known sins particularly those concerning evil covenants.
2. Renounce the sins of your forefathers.
3. Accept God’s forgiveness and forgive yourself.
4. Forgive all those who have ever offended you. Do not bear grudges.
5. Renounce all contacts with any cursed or false religion.
6. Destroy all evil and polluted materials.
7. Release yourself from the curses with aggressive prayer.
8. Cast out the demon behind the curse by saying, “I command every demon of the curse to leave me now in Jesus name.”
9. Claim blessing to replace past curses
When you have done all these, you must stop walking in the paths of, unrighteousness. You must walk in the path where you will be blessed. God has a solution to every problem.
With God ‘all things are possible. He has made provision for our freedom. He is the only one that applies divine solution to the sources of the problems of our life. Elisha applied the salt of heaven to the source of the river of a city that looked good on the surface but dead within. Salt is a purifier, a preserver and a seasoner. So it is important to pray that God, the salt preserver of our life, should season our life with His salt. He should also pour His heavenly salt into the foundation of our life so that all curses can be completely broken.
Please, put all your strength into praying the following prayer points.
PRAYER SECTION
1. I refuse to drink from the fountain of sorrow, in Jesus’ name.
2. I take authority over all curses issued against my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Ask God to remove any curse he has placed on your life as a result of disobedience.
4. I command any demon attached to any curse to depart from me now, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5. Let all curses issued against me be converted to blessings. In the name of Jesus.
6. When you mention any of the under-listed curses, you will aggressively say, “Be broken, be broken, be broken, in the name of
Jesus. I release myself from you, in the name of Jesus.”

PRISONER OF LOCAL ALTARS
“Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty”
INTRODUCTION
Before you continue to read this chapter, I want you to pray the following prayer points. Pray with tire in your spirit.
1. I release my promotion from the hand of the oppressor, in the name of Jesus.
2. I refuse to be Intimidated by any evil giant, in the name of Jesus.
3. All my buried virtues, receive resurrection now, in Jesus’ name.
4. I refuse to be controlled by any power contrary to that of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
Now, let me pray with you. “Wonderful God I thank You for the souls You have given the opportunity to read this book. I know that as usual, You are at work to destroy the destroyer, I know that You are going to paralyse every satanic agent. It is written, the Lord is a man of war and the Lord is His name. By reading this chapter, O Lord, all evil strangers that the enemy is gathering together against the life of the reader, scatter them, in the name of Jesus. Let there be abundant healing, let there be supernatural blessings. In Jesus’ name I pray. Thank You heavenly Father. Amen.
We are looking at the topic “Prisoners of Local Altars.” I want you to read this particular chapter with full concentration, because it is going to give you breakthroughs. At the Mountain of Fire and Miracles we are used to praying against evil altars. We say prayer points like, “I withdraw my name from the captivity of every evil altar. I break every covenant with every evil altar.”
WHAT IS AN ALTAR?
The first question you should ask is this. “What is an altar?”
It is a place of slaughter to something that is worshipped.
The issue of altars is so important that it is mentioned over 433 times in the Bible.
– When men began to worship God in the Bible, the altar came into being. The first men to worship God in the Bible were Cain and Abel. Both had a desire to serve the Lord; one went by the altar, the other did not. The altar man was acceptable, the man who did not go by the altar was not acceptable.
– The first thing Noah did when he came down from the ark was to build an altar.
– Jacob built many altars.
– Abraham built so many altars that you can trace his journey by following the altars he built.
– Moses built an altar.
– Gideon built an altar.
– David built an altar.
– When Elijah got to the celebrated battle at Mount Carmel, he found out that the altar of the Lord had been broken down. If you read
that story very well, you will see that he took a lot of care and paid a lot of attention to see that the altar was correctly built up, before he called for divine fire.
– All good kings and prophets in the Bible built altars to the Lord.
Therefore the altar is a very important spiritual material. It is a powerful covenant material.
COVENANTS
Many churches do not know the importance and powerfulness of covenants. The altar is there and what happens on It is a very powerful covenant material.
You should understand the importance of covenant and altar; as far as the Bible is concerned, the altar is a very serious thing.
Anytime anything is being sacrificed on an altar, a powerful covenant comes into being.
There is the altar and there is the covenant. It is on the altar that covenants are made. Therefore that place the sacrifice takes place in, becomes an altar, be it a temple, something that is raised up, or an, ordinary ground.”
SECRETS ABOUT ALTARS
1. An altar is a place of sacrifice. I Corinthians 10:19 – 20 says, “What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is
offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not
to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.”
Anyone who has a background of ‘Sango’, ‘Ogun’, ‘Oya’, or other well-known local idols, knows that at one time or the other he has been at an altar, he has been at a place of sacrifice and made a covenant with demons.
2. The land or place on which an altar is situated is dedicated to the spirits to whom the sacrifices are made. Whether you know it
or not, the land is dedicated and has been given into the hands of spirits with whom you are already having a covenant.
3. Anytime a sacrifice is made a blood covenant is formed. It does not matter whether what you kill is a pig, a piglet or a goat. A
blood covenant is formed between the person offering the sacrifice, the spirit to whom the sacrifice is addressed and the
ground. So the altar is a place of covenants.
4. Any altar or a place of sacrifice is also a place where blood is crying. For example, many hospitals qualify as altars, where
babies are sacrificed every day in the form of abortions. Don’t be surprised if your hospital is not doing so well since all you
do is to abort pregnancies. There is blood crying against that clinic and it is an altar already.
5. An altar is a spiritual dining table where you offer food to some spirits. You are in trouble if this food does not come on time. If
you have been offering sacrifices somewhere and suddenly you stop when the demons are finding It very palatable, they
will harass you. If you are not born again.
6. The altar is also a place of slaughter There you can slaughter sin, slaughter the flesh or slaughter problems. If there is an evil
minister at the altar his sacrifices will be polluted. Therefore, anybody receiving sacraments or communion from a sinful
priest is dying gradually. Marriages conducted by sinful pastors or priests who are members of secret societies will have
problems. In fact more people have been killed on such altars than during the Second World War.
7. All altar is a place of spiritual exchange. You shed blood in exchange for something. You give a life to benefit a life. The trouble
is this. If your initial payment is insufficient or is a part payment, you will be made to pay later in life. And you have no power
to decide when in your life they will demand the payment. An altar is therefore a place of serious spiritual transactions. You
are very lucky if your parents or yourself have not sacrificed anything to any idol. The altar where Jesus died is where we
normally call the Cross.
8. An altar is a place where contact is made with the spirit world. Anyone who is sacrificing something is making contact with the
spirit world.
In summary, an altar
• Is a place of slaughter of animals or birds for something that is worshipped.
• Is a place of sacrifice.
• Is a place where blood is shed and the blood is speaking and crying. The blood can be crying for good or bad things. It can be
crying against a person. The blood of the animal would be on the altar.
• Is a spiritual dining table where spirits are offered food.
• Is a place of exchange where blood is shed in exchange for something.
• Is a place where contact is made with the spirit world, whether with good spirits or bad spirits. Whenever men want to make
contact with the spirit world they build altars.
• Is a place of spiritual fellowship with clean or unclean spirits.
• Is a place of spiritual traffic of good or bad spirits. When Jacob built an altar in Bethel, angels of God were going tip and down
the altar. If he had built a negative altar, there would have been a traffic of demons.
• Is a place of covenant. When you build an altar you make a covenant with the altar, the animals you arc sacrificing and some
spirits.
• Is a place of deliberation, decisions and action whether negative or positive.
ALTARS, COVENANTS, EVIL DEDICATION
– FAMILY ALTARS
I have told you about the seriousness of this matter. Satan has the habit of copying all institutions of God (things establ1shed by God), perverting them and using them for his own benefit. As you are reading this book now, take your mind back to your town or vl1lage. Have you ever seen any shrine there? Yes or no? Do you come from a royal family where they burled the living with the dead? Or from a place where men were burled alive in standing position in, the major streets? The question is this, who taught our forefathers all these evil things? The devil. So in practically all towns, there are local altars where the elders offer sacrifices from time to time.
One man brought something to me one day and said. “This is ‘Ayelala'”. I asked, “Who gave you this one?” He said. “It has been in our family for six hundred years, and we just inherit it.” I asked him, “What do you do with it?” He said, “I pour ‘ogogoro’ (local gin) on it every morning. Some do not pour ‘ogogoro’, they kill chicken and spill the blood on it and some pour oil on it.” This is an altar to the kingdom of darkness.
I know a brother running a company which was having problems. He did not know what was happening. One night after praying the Lord showed him a vision. In the vision two pregnant women fought until they killed themselves. Promptly the elders of the place buried the two pregnant women in that place. The Lord told this brother that his company was on an altar. Two pregnant women were burled there and there was no way anything he puts there can work, because it had already been dedicated to satan. All these local altars give the powers of darkness authority over a parcel of land or over a household.
If in your family house, you have a shrine or you have a place where you worship regularly, you have handed over the whole household (those born and unborn) to the spirits you worship at the altar. Both the land and the compound are covenanted to those spirits. Even when you are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit. It does not remove the covenant or deliver the house or the compound, because those spirits own them. Until you apply the ministry of deliverance and bring the place under the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ, the power of darkness will control and claim that land and all the children coming from there.
– CAR DEDICATIONS
People who buy cars and pour libations on them are simply dedicating the cars to evil spirits. I have seen people pour the blood of dogs on their engines. What you have done is to covenant your car to evil spirits and dedicate it to what they call the demon of iron. The person driving the car is under the influence of that demon. Whether you like it or not, whether you agree or not, the person is covenanted.
Imagine somebody who buys a second-hand car that somebody has poured a libation upon, or blood on the engine and says he wants to use it to run a transport business. Don’t be surprised if in a few weeks the car refuses to work or wants to lump into the lagoon or river. The car already belongs to somebody else. You are a trespasser although you own the car physically. This is why many people
don’t do very well when they buy second-hand cars until they run a deliverance on the cars. If you are not careful that cars can be converted to 2 coffin.
– DEMONIC BUSINESS
Let me drop this hint for you free of charge. A believer bought a ‘danfo’ (Volkswagen) bus for transport business. At Oyingbo bus stop he called. “Yaba, Yaba”, and 14 passengers entered. Out of the 14, 10 were witches and two were members of a secret society. He took them to Sabo. Four got down and another four came in and he took them to Yaba. There he called “Oylngbo”, and nine out of those who entered were people with familiar spirits, one witchdoctor, and three members of a secret society. He took them to Oylngbo. Was he running a profitable venture or transporting demonic people around? Some of the passengers would not have paid the conductor but he would have felt that he had collected money. So, a believer who wants to go into that kind of business will have a hard work to do. He has to pray inside that vehicle and anoint it every night, because one night’s anointing may not be enough to rub off the evil effect of the demonic people the vehicle carries dally. This is generally why transport business does not work for many people.
It you wake up one day and decide that you want to be selling wood, be Informed that there are some spirits living in woods. You are removing and selling their houses so, they will attack you. This means that you should first prepare yourself through prayer.
– HOUSE DEDICATIONS
Perhaps when you laid the foundation of your house, you did it the traditional way; things were burled there, like live birds and animals, so the foundation of the house is an altar to satan and the house is covenanted. Don’t be surprised if things turn around and you don’t know why. The house Including all the children that will be born there will have serious problems. Even now that you are born again, only aggressive right prayers and land deliverance can nullify the evil foundation-laying ceremony. Some plant Bibles and crosses in the foundation of their house. That makes the house an altar of religious spirits and deception.
– DEAD CHURCHES
Do you know why many orthodox churches are dead and full of men in secret societies? in the olden days, when people came and said they wanted to build churches, our forefathers used demonic logic and gave them demonic forests, and those people who did not have the fire of the Holy Ghost went ahead and built churches there. Sooner or later, the demons in charge of those forests entered the churches and became elders. From there they graduated to “priests” and took over the churches and then everywhere became dead. That is why when you tell people, “Leave that church”, they will say. “No, my great-grandfather died there, this one died there, and I will die there.” They have been covenanted.
– MARKETS
Many of our traditional markets are altars and in some, human beings were burled alive. This is one of the secrets of the success of the devil with the black race. People are buying and selling on top of satanic altars. Unfortunately, this is why most market sellers and traders are poor. This is the reason why we tell believers to pray on top of their food.
Have you noticed that when someone starts to run mad the first place he likes to go is the market? Once he gets there, the madness is confirmed. What is he looking for there? it is an altar. So we can see that the enemy has things planted in the market.
Most of our people’s traditional festivals are celebrated in the market and masquerades also entertain in the markets. So markets are satanic stadia. Our local markets are fertile recruitment grounds for the enemy. If God opens your eyes and you see what people sell in our local markets, the things you see will make you to go on a five day dry fast. Some people sit inside their wares; some people sit upside down, and some sell blood in the markets.
You can say if it is that bad, you will go to the supermarkets. Those ones are even worse because there are educated demons there. So you have to pray; that is the only way out. You cannot say that you will not eat, because you will die. So you have to pray on your food.
There was a woman who used to sell “moin-moin” (bean paste) in a market. Her “moin-moin” was so good that no other person sold any until she finished selling. The woman got to a crusade one day and the fire of God fell upon her and she began to confess, “Do you know the ‘moin-moin’ you have been eating. I cook it with human blood.” One man who had just bought some and eaten it with garri, put a finger Inside his throat trying to vomit but it was too late as the food had already been digested. We have to pray.
The moment somebody offers sacrifice to a spirit, he becomes the messenger of that spirit. This is why many of our forests are demonic altars. Except you are really anointed or the Lord has sent you there, there are some forests you cannot enter. I want you to think about it.
Because of what I have said now, a lot of people may be afraid. They have altars in their villages, altars in their families, altars in the markets, and altars in the forests. A lot of people are in bondage; they are prisoners. There are some towns in this country where the women never have settled homes because they are slaves to the altars there.
RECOGNISING PRISONERS OF LOCAL ALTARS
How will I know if I am a prisoner of an altar? There are many ways you can know.
1. Dreaming of your place of birth. If you are always returning to a particular location, you have a link with it. It must be destroyed.
2. Being pursued by a serpent. It shows that there is a link between the person and the serpent. It shows that he is already a
prisoner of an altar somewhere.
3. Blockages at the edge of miracles. As miracles want to happen, everything just goes haywire, and you do not know where to
start again. It is evident that there is an evil altar somewhere.
4. Restlessness in marriage. It is evident that somewhere, somehow, the person is in a bondage to something.
5. Being pursued by masquerades. It is evident that there is an evil altar somewhere. Why should a masquerade pursue a
person? It is to harm the person or force him to settle his accounts with it.
6. Inability to complete a building project. That land on which the building stands might have been given to another spirit who is
saying, “Who is this idiot who has not offered any sacrifice and is trying to build here?” And the situation is not helped when
you too go there with your drunken friends to lay the foundation Instead of praying over the land.
7. Unprofitable tenants who refuse to pay rents. If the land the house is built on has been covenanted, the demons will make the
tenants poor.
8. Amputated breakthroughs. It is an evidence that there is an evil altar somewhere.
9. Spiritual backwardness. It is an evidence that there is an evil altar somewhere.
10. Imaginary enemies. You are just afraid and feel as if somebody is coming to kill you. You do not know why you are afraid.
11. Consistent errors. You keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
12. In your family, all the women have been sent away from their husbands’ homes to the family house. Most of what we call
family houses might as well be called slaughter houses, evil altars.
13. Constant failures.
14. Repeated problems. It is evident that there is an evil altar somewhere.
15. Seeing things which others do not see.
16. Inability to feed properly. If you have a shrine in your compound and you planted maize there, when the maize is ripe and you
begin to eat it, be informed that the land belongs to a demon which would have polluted the place and the maize you are
eating.
17. Business failures.
18. Amputated finances. When somebody receives a covenanted land or a covenanted property, problem will happen in the
person’s finances.
Now beloved, the major problem with all these things I have mentioned is that many people don’t know that they are covenanted.
There was a girl who was covenanted at the age of eight for marriage to the chief priest in the Village. By the time the girl became an adult her two parents had died, so nobody was able to tell her that she had already been married to that priest. The man came to tell her about her betrothal but she refused to marry him. The man then said, “Since you have rejected me, you will never settle down anywhere.” The accursed woman never settled down anywhere. Unfortunately, it was at the age of 57 that she began to realise that, her parents gave her away and she never knew anything about it.
THE WAY OUT
1. Repentance from the school of constructing ungodly altars. You can repent on behalf of your parents since they did it, or if you
did it yourself you have to repent. Ungodly altars include doing demonic parties for a child. You killed something and
distributed it. You need to repent, because you have built an evil altar.
2. You have to renounce the covenant.
3. You release your life’s benefit from their hands. It is possible that a demon could sit on the blessings of a whole family. But
you could take out your own from under neath the demon, especially If the others are not born again.
4. Recover your lost blessings.
5. Refuse to renew the contract.
6. Paralyse the strongman.
This is wonderful. The man spoke directly to the altar, meaning that the altar can hear. And when he spoke things began to happen. I wonder how many people want to speak such hot words to an altar today.
Therefore, aggression is needed.
The name you bear may also link you to an altar. If it is a name that does not glorify God. Any name that anyone bears which does not glorify God is linked to something somewhere, and you have to release yourself violently from it. You can do this by praying against its evil effects or by totally changing to another one or you leave it silent among your names.
You need to speak to the altar in your village.
You need to speak to the shrine in your village.
Speak aggressively. Address such things that you never thought could happen to you in your life, and a change will start to happen. You will find that miracles are just manifesting in your life because you are addressing the powers that cleverly kept them back.
Therefore we are going to pray.
If you are reading this book and you say, “Thank God, I did not do any of such things nor did my father”, how about your grandfather? if you say, “Thank God, my grand-parents did not do any of such things”, what about your great-grand-parents? if you say, “Thank God, my great-grand-parents did not do any of such things”, what about your great-great-grand-parents?
These are serious prayers and you cannot pray them as if you are joking. You have to pray hard and long. You have to pray through. As you pray, you will be surprised at what will happen to your life. The miracles that have been locked up somewhere will suddenly break loose.
PRAYER SECTION
Place one hand on your head and the other one on your navel. These prayers should be said aggressively and violently in the name of Jesus. You must recover your blessings now.
1. I release myself from the bondage of evil altars. In the name of Jesus. Say this once, then be repeating, “I release myself, in
the name of Jesus.” Spend some time on this.
O Lord, I pray, let any of those reading this book, whose parents have covenanted them to a land, to a shrine, to an idol, be released right now by the power in the blood of Jesus. Be released, in the name of Jesus. All those who have been covenanted to spirit husbands, be released, in the name of Jesus. Collect your wedding rings back and go away with them, in the name of Jesus.
2. I vomit every satanic poison that I have swallowed, in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, all those reading this book who have eaten food from the tables of idols, I command the fire of God to strike their stomach and begin to torment every hidden spirit, power and food until they run out of their hiding places. Let the whole stomach be packed full of the fire of God until every satanic poison goes out through the mouth, through the nose, through the ears and through every possible opening.
3. I cancel every demonic dedication, in the name of Jesus. Be repeating. “I cancel you, in the name of Jesus.”
All those reading this book who have been dedicated to demons, be released, in the name of Jesus. All those who have carried any form of sacrifice to the crossroads, be released, in the name of Jesus.
4. (Place your two hands on your head.) I break every evil authority over my life. In the name of Jesus. Be repeating, “I break you.
In the name of Jesus.”
Witchcraft authority begin to break, in the name of Jesus. Every authority of the spirit of infirmity and the spirit of backwardness, begin to break, in the name of Jesus. The authority of every serpentine spirit, break in the name of Jesus. All those whose hairs have been cut for evil things, be released, in the name of Jesus.
5. Mention the underlisted with authority and say. “Break, in the name of Jesus”, seven hot times.
– Every evil authority of family shrine or idol
– Every evil authority of witchcraft and family spirits
– Every evil authority of remote control powers
– Every evil authority of the strong man
6. Every owner of evil load, carry your load, in the name of Jesus. (If it is sickness or bad luck, let them carry it.)
CHAPTER FIVE
DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL ALTARS
“AN ALTAR OF EARTH THOU SHALT MAKE UNTO ME, AND SHALT SACRIFICE THEREON THY BURNT OFFERINGS, AND
THY PEACE OFFERINGS, THY SHEEP, AND THINE OXEN: IN ALL PLACES WHERE I RECORD MY NAME I WILL COME
UNTO THEE, AND I WILL BLESS THEE. AND IF THOU WILT MAKE ME AN ALTAR OF STONE, THOU SHALT NOT BUILD IT OF HEWN STONE: FOR IF THOU LIFT UP THY TOOL UPON IT, THOU HAST POLLUTED IT. NEITHER SHALT THOU GO UP BY STEPS UNTO MINE ALTAR, THAT THY NAKEDNESS BE NOT DISCOVERED THEREON”
INTRODUCTION
This message is entitled: Deliverance From Evil Altars. Please read very carefully and as we go on pray each prayer point as if it is
the last one you are going to pray.
There is this very interesting story in I Samuel 7:7- 11.
“And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines. And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines. And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him. And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Bethear.”
There was a problem. The enemies of the children of Israel had come against them. So they went to Samuel to cry to God on their behalf. Samuel Immediately went to the altar. The Philistines made a great mistake and the lord thundered with a very great thunder against them, the enemies of Israel.
The Holy Ghost has trained many of us in the school of experience. The school of experience is a very expensive school. Unfortunately, these days the deceived and the deceivers are multiplying. But thank God we can be part of that overcoming army that will go forth in overcoming power. The only way to take the kingdom is by force. Satan and his demons will not give us our benefits without a battle. And it is time we stopped the kind of prayer life which eat the meat and the bones together. God wants us to eat the meat and leave out the bones. It is time to take off the veil and know the true name and fruits of the strongman so we can paralyse them.
The first question we may ask is, “What are altars?” Altars are designed for sacrifice, that is what they are made for. An altar is Just not a decorative item. You can find this in Exodus 20:24.
“An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.”
The Bible tells us how to make it. It can be made with the earth, that is from sand, or with unhewed stones, stones that have not been broken to pieces. Sometimes people make it with bricks and God does not like this kind of altar. Sometimes a natural rock that nobody has touched becomes an altar. In the Bible you will find altars raised unto God and altars raised for Idol worship. When people are raising altars for Idolatrous worship, God hates it with perfect hatred. When a king was sacrificing at the altar, God sent a prophet to speak against the altar. The prophet ignored all the people standing by the altar and faced the altar, showing the importance of that altar and the spiritual transaction going on there which the physical eyes could not sec. But in the spirit a terrible transaction was going on.
A good Bible student would not be surprised that all the important men of God built altars to God. This is because an alter to God. This is a because of communication and fellowship.
Noah built an alter; Abraham built so many altars; Isaac built altars; Jacob built altars. Moses built altars; Joshua, Gideon, Samuel, David, all built altars. When at Mount Carmel Elijah declared war against the enemies of God, he told them to build their own altar and call upon their gods. When it got to his turn. Elijah built the altar of the Lord that had been broken down.
POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ALTARS
Alters can be positive or negative. Our prayer altars are positive altars. When someone says that his prayer alter is weak, that means his prayer life is nothing to write home about. When you say someone’s holiness alter is weak. It means that although the person is holy he cannot withstand much of the works of the enemy. We have Jesus who died on the cross. That cross is an altar where the son of God was sacrificed. The cross is a positive altar. Positive altars are altars raised to the living God for good purposes. Negative altars arc altars raised by the enemy to steal, to kill and to destroy.
You can raise an altar to bless or to destroy, to improve or to demote, to promote or to put down. You can raise an altar to enhance or to frustrate. You can raise an altar for a particular person or for a set of people, those you like or those you do not like.
In the Old Testament, altars are built to destroy and to frustrate the enemies. In the passage we have read (1 Samuel 7:7-11). Samuel raised up an altar in the name of the Lord against the Philistines. God became angry with the Philistines and thundered against them from heaven. The altar fought the battle for Israel and it was practically a walk-over. Israel did not fight. God looked down and fought for his people against their enemies.
Many things that God has designed in the Bible to bless, the devil has their counterfeits. He can always make his own. Just like the cross of Jesus, you will see men and women dropping sacrifices at the crossroads. This is a corruption of the cross of Jesus.
Many problems of tile black people can be directly linked to dark ministrations at alter. The enemy has erected satanic altars of affliction against many and these altars have priests of wickedness ministering regularly on them. You can ask. “How did the devil get to know about all these?” Don’t forget, he was with God in the beginning. He saw the order of heaven and understood how things we are run. He has now corrupted that order. He has taught his own people the secret of altars they are using for destructive purposes.
We are going to pray now. The prayer against destructive altars is not something you pray sleeping.
It is a traffic of evil things which have been erected against a group of people and they arc going up and down for the people’s sake. Somebody says, “bring the paper of sickness:, you take it. He brings the paper of tuberculosis, you take It; even the paper of demotion. It is a traffic. It goes up and down, that is the dangerous thing about the altar.
The way things arc going in this country now and the terrible way people ‘Ire looking for money, they can do anything with anybody. Therefore it is not the time for believers to be praying sickly prayers against the enemy. You have to pray violently, with holy madness, close your eyes and say the following prayer points:
1. Every satanic altar erected against me and my family be demolished by fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every vessel submitting my name to the altar be frustrated, in the name of Jesus.
3. I refuse to be a prisoner of any local altar, in the name of Jesus.
The devil has perverted the use of the altar and can now use it to steal, to kill and to destroy. Sometimes altars are made to make contact with wicked spirits. Sacrifices are put on such altars.
WHAT ARE SACRIFICES?
Sacrifices are foods given to wicked spirits to seek for their assistance. That is why the Bible says. “Do not eat food sacrificed to Idols.” If you eat it you are eating on the same table with the devil. The Bible says this because it wants to educate us that food sacrificed to idols is food for demons, and when you share food with demons, you go away with them. Wicked people put food on an altar and ask wicked spirits for assistance to afflict people.
Some of the things that we call migraine and headache are sometimes a result of demonic affliction. That is why before we do anything to our body we should pray. Even if you had so much faith in drugs you had better pray. We Christians rely on the Holy Spirit and angels to fight for us in the spirit world. When names are taken to the altar to monitor and influence people’s lives and they do not know what is going on, it is as if someone is following them around and destroying anything that comes.
USES OF LOCAL ALTARS
I am not saying what I am saying to scare people. Many house-helps, nannies and in-laws are altar priests, and agents passing information to other altar priests. They should not be brought in to your house without prayers. At the evil altar the spiritual life of a person can be easily monitored and assessed. Demons try to see whether they should waste their ammunition on you or not because there is no point shooting a corpse. When someone has been eaten up, what is the point in shooting him again? They use these altars
as control Instruments which cause problems for people. Tying a rope to the neck of a cock and mentioning a person’s name in the process, and then putting the cock at the crossroads severely limits that person. When there is something good around and you move towards it, something else will prevent you from reaching it. These evil-altars can dominate a person, they can tie him down so that he cannot have a mind of his own.
The altars can be used to manipulate a person and intimidate him with all kinds of nightmares and fears. They can be used to cause stubborn afflictions. Therefore they are not the kind of thing you look at and you say gentle prayers. It is kind of things you face, the way that the prophet in 1 king 13 did. He prophesied against an altar and destroyed it. That is the only way out.
LOCAL ALTARS
What are the kinds of local altars we have here that are used to destroy people?
1. Crossroads altars
These are a perversion of the cross of Jesus. Why the crossroads? The purpose at the crossroads is to be able to summon demons from the North, from the South, from the East and from the West together against the people.
If you get to your office in the morning and find a sacrifice there: it means that demons have been summoned to that place. If a crossroads sacrifice has been offered against you, you will be bombarded by afflictions, in every department of your life.
It doesn’t matter whether you are born again unless you know your rights. If you are born again you have authority but if you do not have power you are still wasting time. If you see a police man on the way, his uniform is a sign of authority. If he tells a person to stop the person will stop as he recognises his authority. When armed robbers come, though they see his authority. If he has no power to assert that authority invested in him by government, they will kill him. It is like that. There is a difference between authority and power. If you are born again and you have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit there is no power to back it up. Or if you just have the baptism of the Holy Spirit but you do not have fire and the enemies are offering, sacrifices at the crossroads against you, you won’t die or if you die you will go to heaven, but they would have denied you so many good things on earth.
You see this kind of sacrifice in a high class neighbourhood like Victoria Island. Lagos. You would have thought it can be found only in a slum area like Ajegunle, but you will also see it in Victoria Island. You will even see university lecturers carrying sacrifices to demonic altars. So where do we go from here? You would have said, oh this is caused by illiteracy, blaa, blaa, blaa. You will be surprised that university lecturers put sacrifices on the doors of one another.
2. Tree altars
This is another local altar. Examples of this are Iroko tree, pawpaw tree and banana tree. Sometimes enemies wrap pieces of cloth around these trees thus transforming them into altars. The cloth is tied around the person’s life and his case is handed over to the tree demons, the witches and the wizards.
3. Rock altars
A sister who had been in the demonic world, got born again. Although she was in the demonic world she was also a prophetess, laying hands on people and prophesying. She said one day in the church she sat next to a woman, a fellow prophetess, and as they were chatting, the fellow prophetess told her. “My own power is greater than yours. Do not mess up with me.” She said before she could say anything, the woman crossed her legs and the two of them found themselves inside a rock. There, she saw electronic equipment, refrigerators, rooms, etc. Then the woman cooked for her. They had left from a church service. A lot of things are happening that many of us cannot see. If many of us can see them, when I say pray, they will pray until they know that something has happened in the spirit realm.
There is no extent that wicked people will not go If they do not like you.
4. Photograph altars
Wicked people can take away a wedding picture, a family picture or an individual’s picture, put it somewhere, form an altar around it, and through it a person can be tormented, afflicted or even killed. They can use it to break a marriage or do all sorts of other evil things.
5. Image altars
A symbol is made to represent a person and whatever is done to that symbol happens to the person in the spirit. If it is given a terrible blow on the head the person will have a terrible headache. They may decide to give the terrible blow during an examination. That is why you find some children falling ill during the examination period. They are perfectly okay till it is almost time for the examination, then they have headache, stomach ache etc. There is a symbol in the spirit world and It has been used as an altar. A small shop can be constructed to represent where somebody is selling. Whatever is done to that shop happens to the shop in the physical.
6. Reporting altars
In this case a person’s name is chanted all day long or regularly at the altar. Such a person may be hearing his name but would not know who is calling him. All that is expected is for him to answer even once and he is in serious trouble.
7. Clothing altars
The enemy can do all kinds of things to someone through his clothes. They can use the clothes to put all kinds of skin diseases on a person. If at one time or the other someone tore a piece of your clothes, or stole your underwear or something else and you do not know where they are, you need to pray hard.
8. River altars
These are altars served by river demons. They sit on people’s lives and keep them submerged.
9. Forest altars
Enemies go to forest altars at night. A lot of people do not know that when they are sleeping at night their enemies are busy working and planning against them in the forest. They go there to chant people’s names.
10. Altars of body parts
A person’s finger nail, hair, or placenta can be taken away, and the enemy would build an altar around it and use it against the person.
11. Astral altars
There are people who speak evil words against people’s stars. They programme words of destruction against a person’s star and they will affect the person negatively.
12. Altars of evil transfers
Enemies transfer people’s virtues using satanic priests and evil thieves that are around.
13. Family shrine
Any family th.1t has an idol or a shrine has an altar. Through that altar the whole members of the family can be monitored.
I was praying for a sister and felt so sorry for her. Her mother-in-law brought an idol all the way from Edo State into the sitting room of the woman and her husband. She protested strongly that they were Christians and did not believe in such things. The mother-in-law told her to shut up or she would send her packing from her matrimonial home. Then she worshipped the idol for three months before she carried it back to Edo state. All that the mother-in-law did was to create a traffic of demons inside that house, so that if she needs anything from the house all she has to do is to contact her demons.
A lot of prayers and deliverance have to be done for that house to get rid of what she brought. I asked why the husband did not remove the idol. She said as soon as it was brought into the house it seemed as if the husband became a fool, as if he had never been going to church.
14. Physical altars
Someone was kidnapped and dragged to a physical altar to be killed. He did not know what happened to him that morning. He looked for his Daily Guide and found that his son had thrown It into the dustbin. He got angry and started shouting. His wife tried to pacify him, saying he should pick it out and have his quiet time. He started shouting at her as well. He did not have his quiet time and he left the house angrily. At the bus stop someone moved close to him and slapped him on the shoulder. He followed the main into a bush and there was a satanic priest there, with human parts on the floor round an altar. He called the name of Jesus, and the people began to get confused. They released him quickly. A man in a white garment appeared and shook his hand, and he then found himself in Lagos.
15. Altars of curses
Sometime ago, a man entered a bus. He was supposed to pay N15. He took the old N1 which looks like the present N10, added N5 to it and gave to the driver. Suddenly the trick was discovered but when the driver asked who gave him the money that was no longer in use, no one owned up. Everyone denied. The man too said it was not him. The driver got angry, parked his vehicle, and brought out a horn under his seat. Inside the horn was a viper’s tooth. He took the viper’s tooth out, mixed it with saliva, touched his mouth and said. “Before I start speaking, who gave me this money?” The man who gave the money was afraid and said nothing. The driver then began to rain terrible curses: “This person will bury his children,” all kinds of terrible curses. When he finished he folded the illegal money, closed his eyes and threw it into the forest. Then he said, “just as I have thrown this money away this man will never find prosperity.” Later what the driver said began to happen. The man’s first son got “F9 parallel” in the school certificate examination, that is, he failed in all the subjects. But when he was promoted to form five, he had got ‘A’ in all the 8 subjects in the exam. When the man realised his mistake he went to look for the driver. But the driver reminded him that he had thrown the cursed money into the forest, and he could not find it. Then this man ran to Jesus.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Christian’s life is a life of spiritual warfare. If Jesus, the purest man that ever lived, had enemies, it is certain that we are going to have them.
When you talk about warfare there are different strategies. You could lay ambush for somebody, it could be a frontal attack, it could be a night attack, it could be a constant bombardment from afar. But it can be terrible if you are fighting a war you do not understand.
I watched an American film entitled Vietnam and I almost cried. America brought a Jot of sophisticated weapons to Vietnam but the Vietnamese were hiding on trees. The Americans did not understand the war. They did not know who to shoot. So they just shot indiscriminately and a lot of lives were wasted.
As a Christian if you do not understand the war you are fighting you will be rendered useless. God has the capacity to reduce our enemies to helpless creatures in seconds, and the most impossible situations we might face give us the greatest opportunities for God to show himself mightily. God can use many unusual methods to give us victory. Sometimes things may get worse before they start getting better. You might be complaining, “I don’t know, instead of things getting better they are getting worse.” Sometimes it has to be like that because many enemies have already entered and they have to be drained out. The more the enemy boasts against a child of God, the greater his fall shall be. Say this confession to yourself powerfully, “The more the enemy shall boast against me, the greater his fall shall be.”
WAY OUT
What are we going to do now? How do we deal with the evil altars?
– Recognise their operations.
– Repent of anything you have done to make any evil altar to prosper.
– Renounce them whether you know about them or not. There is no point in saying that we do not have them in our family, unless
we are not black people.
– Resist them using the word of God and prayer.
– Kill the priest at the altar. There must be some wicked priests being used against you. This is what we call slay their priests or
kill their prophets.
– Withdraw your name, your benefits and your virtues from the altars.
– Destroy the altar by cursing it, introducing the fire of God upon it. Call the East wind upon it. Call the divine hurricane of God to
blow it away.
– Give praises to God.
Let me ask this question: Do you want to deal with evil altars? You should not care to know who is erecting the altars or why they are erected, what you need to know is that we have a God who can disgrace any evil altar.
PRAYER SECTION
Every prayer against evil altars has to be said loudly, with violence, with faith and with an aggressive spirit. I hope we understand this. We are working against some terrible things, which we have to paralyse. If you are not going to pray it this way it is better to keep quiet.
1. I render every aggressive altar impotent, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every evil altar erected against me be disgraced, in Jesus’ name.
3. Anything done against my life under demonic anointing be nullified, in the name of Jesus.
You will now issue the curse of God on every evil altar fashioned against you.
4. I curse every local altar fashioned against me, in the name Jesus.
5. Let the hammer of the Almighty God smash every evil altar erected against me in Jesus name.
If you have ever stepped on any sacrifice or you have found one outside your door in the morning you have to pray this one with double aggression.
6. O Lord, send Your fire to destroy every evil altar fashioned against me, in the name of Jesus.
This next prayer point you are about to pray now is a serious one. You can pray and let God direct His hands wherever He wants to, direct them.
7. Every evil priest ministering against me at the evil altar receive the sword of God, in the name of Jesus.
8. Let the thunder of God smite every evil priest working against me on the evil altar and burn them to ashes, in the name of
Jesus.
When the prophet of God spoke against the altar, where King Jeroboam stood to burn incense, what happened? The king wanted to lay hold on him, and his hand dried up.
10. Any hand that wants to retaliate or arrest me because of all these prayers I am praying, dry up and wither in the name of
Jesus.
Sing one song of praise to God violently, especially if you know your prayers have been answered.
11. Every stubborn evil altar priest, drink your own blood, in the name of Jesus.
12. I possess my possession stolen by the evil altar in Jesus’ name.
You are going to withdraw seven things from every evil altar. Please, lay your hands on your head.
13. I withdraw my name from every evil altar, in the name of Jesus.
14. (Transfer the hand to your chest.) I withdraw my blessings from every evil altar, in the name of Jesus.
15. (Take the hand back to your head.) I withdraw my breakthroughs from every evil altar, in the name of Jesus.
16. I withdraw my glory from every evil altar, in the name of Jesus.
17. (Transfer the hand to your chest.) I withdraw my prosperity from every evil altar. In the name of Jesus.
18. (One hand on the head, the other one on the chest.) I withdraw anything representing me from every evil altar, in Jesus’
name.
19. Mention the organ that you know is not behaving the way it should. When you have done this begin to say, I withdraw you
from every evil altar. Say this seven hot times.
CHAPTER SIX
THE BLOOD COVENANT TRAP
“And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood. I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live;
yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live”.
INTRODUCTION
One of the worst things that can happen to a person is for him to be in a cage and not know that he is. The day a mad man begins to
see that his clothes are dirty, that day he is healed. But if he is ironing his dirty clothes and tearing them, then the madness is increasing. Added to this is the fact that a man who has been locked up in a police cell, with the key in the pocket of the police, cannot release himself without the key. The person who will release him will have to come from outside.
THE BLOOD
I am talking about the Blood Covenant Trap, and straightaway I will read from Ezekiel 16:6.
“And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood. I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood. Live; yea. I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, live.”
Blood can be polluted.
Leviticus I 7:11,
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
So it is a divine decision that blood will make atonement for the soul. The Bible also says. “Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.” When Adam fell. God Himself had to slaughter, an animal and used the skin to clothe him and his wife thus passing through the blood line again.
Leviticus 17:14. says,
“For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.”
So the Bible says that life is in the blood. When God created man in the beginning, after he had moulded him from the clay and it was just sitting down lifeless, the lord breathed into his nostrils. That breath made man a living soul, so that the life and the soul of man are inside the blood.
So, the blood is one of the mysterious things created by the Almighty God. Another mysterious thing created is water, and all of us reading this book, about 70 per cent of our body is water.
Right from the beginning of the Bible, we find the Spirit of the living God moving upon the waters.
Another mysterious creation of God is fire. Nobody really understands how it works.
Electricity, like the blood, is also a mysterious creation.
1 John 5:8.
“And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”
This is a very deep and mysterious verse, as it shows the importance of the blood.
God spoke other things into being, but He created man with His own hands and the Bible says. “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” God breathed some of His life into man and that life is held in the blood. Therefore, man is more wonderful than the angels who have no flesh or blood.
Those who studied medicine, tell us that blood is a living liquid, it is alive. It is the blood that carries oxygen from our lungs to all parts of the body; that is, as you are breathing in and out, the air you are breathing eventually goes into your blood and your blood circulates it throughout the body. It is the same blood that conveys the food you eat to various parts of the body. It is the same blood that maintains your body temperature and that is why It is constant. It is the same blood that helps to excrete waste materials from the body. Blood is an agent of purification. It is the same blood that helps you to maintain the water content of your body.
Inside the blood, there arc things you could call security agents. There are tiny tiny cells which constantly attack sickness and weakness in the blood. So, blood gives you protection. The same blood can serve as an emergency first aid material. It is the power plant of the body. Medical people tell us that each cell in the body receives new blood every 50 seconds; so the blood is a very powerful equipment and instrument. In spite of the great advancement in medicine blood is still not yet fully understood; so if you see a person losing blood, he is dying instalmentally.
Because of this powerful nature of the blood and the spiritual materials attached to it, the Bible says the following about it:
1. Eating of blood is forbidden; Gen 9:4; Acts 15:20. So believers are expected to drain the blood off the animals they want to eat.
2. Shedding of blood is forbidden.
3. Defiling the land with blood is forbidden.
4. Any time Innocent blood is shed, punishment always follows. The Jews themselves know that blood cannot be shed in vain.
When that man came to David and said. “I killed Saul”, he thought David would rejoice. Rather David said, “With your own
mouth you have condemned yourself. Why is it that you are not afraid to touch the Lord’s anointed? Kill him and let his blood
be upon his own head.”
When Jesus appeared before Pilate and he said, “This man has not done anything, leave him alone”; the Jews said. “No, crucify Him.” He said again, “But He has done nothing.” Yet they said. “Crucify Him and let His blood be upon us and upon our children.” It is still so now for the Jews.
The Bible tells us that blood can speak because of the life in it, it can communicate. That is why in Gen 4:10. God said to Cain, “What has thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” The blood was crying out for vengeance. God Himself always talks of avenging blood. In Revelation 6:10, you will read about the martyrs who have been slain for the gospel and are crying to God.
“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not Judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
God said, “Walt, no problem, let them kill the rest of you then we will avenge in full.” That is why Jesus accused the Jews with this strong statement, “You are of the generation that kill the prophets and the blood of all prophets from Abel shall be required from this generation.”
So blood is very Important. What I am saying in essence is that once your blood is polluted, then the totality of your life is polluted. Any wrong thing done to your blood will pollute the whole of your life. This is a very, very serious matter. So much about the blood.
COVENANTS
Zechariah 9:11,
“As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.”
This is a positive or what you can call a good covenant. God promised to deliver the prisoners who have been put in the pit where there is no water. The positive covenant is what Jesus achieved for us by his death on the cross. There is also a negative covenant.
The first thing to ask ourselves is what is a covenant. As I said in the introduction of this book, a covenant signifies a mutual understanding between two or more parties. It can be designed to achieve friendship, or to procure assistance in war. It can be done for mutual protection; It can be done to establish peace. It can be done in several other ways, but it is a legal contract; a binding agreement, a solemn agreement.
In the Old Testament, when the Hebrew people talk about a covenant; they give the idea of cutting an animal into two and passing between it. That is why they say, “They are cutting a covenant.” So, the general purpose of the covenant is to provide a binding sense of commitment. God is the originator of covenant and whenever He wants to finally commit Himself to a thing, he enters into a
covenant.
When you talk about a covenant, you now know that it is a strong thing binding two parties, like a contract or a treaty. The terms of the covenant are usually spell out, and breaking them is a very serious matter. Although some physical activities are involved. It is a spiritual thing.
When you read the Bible you will find the covenants between God and men, for instance, the one between Him and Abraham, which provided that all the males must be circumcised. When a person is circumcised blood is involved. Up till date, the Jews are keeping the covenant. This is why Israelis a special nation. As long as they do not break the Abrahamlc covenant they cannot be defeated by another nation, it is therefore unprofitable for any nation to be against Israel, because God has said. “Those who curse you I will curse.”
There can also be a covenant between two people. Marriage is such a covenant and that is why God is against divorce and anyone causing it. This is why the Bible warns, what God has joined together let no man or woman, or demon or mother-in-law or father-in-law, put asunder. When the priest asks you, “Will you take . . . to be your wife/husband?” and you answer. “Yes”, then a contract is signed. If you come back later and say. “(was drunk when I said so”, it is too late.
There could be a covenant between man and the devil. The devil can promise some people power and say, “All you have to do is to sleep in a cemetery for 200 days, then you get the power.” He can promise you wealth in exchange for a short life. People make covenants with the devil: this is why some people can never repent of doing evil because already they have entered into an agreement with Lucifer that they will do anything he wants, even if they will die doing it. If you have that kind of enemy, you have to be strong yourself.
Men can make covenants with evil spirits but the most dangerous covenant is the one which the participant is not aware of, yet it is binding. These days many people don’t realise that a person can unconsciously enter into a covenant. Many of the things we don’t think as serious are taken seriously in the spirit world.
Remember that Jacob and Esau only exchanged words, over a meal, and they were binding. God recognised the words and the devil also recognised them, and Esau lost his birthrlght. Many people make worse promises with their mouths.
Also, as I discussed in the introduction of this book, the word covenant translated in the New Testament has a root meaning. “to cut”, and it was from the custom of cutting an animal into two and people walking between it; after that, they would sit down and eat food.
In the crude state of covenant formation, those who want to make covenants would come together, and discuss the motives and the terms of the covenants. Someone would say, “Nobody is to cat ‘okra’ in this village again, is that all right?” and everyone would say. “Yes.” Someone can also say that every male child in the village must scrape his hairs and give them to the priest. Again they would say, “Yes.” They have thus agreed on the terms of the covenant.
After the agreement they would exchange gifts and usually the most precious thing owned by the other party is demanded. This exchange of gifts symbolises that whatsoever one person owns belongs to the other. The most precious possession now is life, and people have covenanted and traded it away.
There is normally a priest to administer the covenant, a satanic priest. Each party makes a cut on his wrist and allows the blood to drop into a cup of wine. It is mixed and each person drinks. They rub their wounds with gunpowder to heal and anytime they see the scar, it would remind them that they entered into a blood covenant. Some occult people also do this.
A lot of people are in trouble today because they met a man or woman a long time ago and entered into a covenant as they fell madly in love if there is that kind of thing. They cut each other’s bodies and drank their blood saying, “Promise me you will not leave me.” The blood then flowed into each other. Eventually they did not get married and there is problem. Some people do not understand where the problem is coming from. Well, it is already inside the blood by a simple transfer. They cannot marry someone else and if they do, the marriage will break down. After they drank the blood, a curse was spiritually pronounced on whoever would break the covenant.
Beloved, this is one of the sources of the black man’s problems. It is only the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that can buy us back.
The Bible itself is a covenant. The Old Testament and the New Testament can be translated as the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. The two parties in a covenant come together and become one.
When Adam fell, blood hold to be used for the remission of sin. The person who could make that covenant had to be both man and God. He had to be a person whose blood did not come from his father and mother, which was polluted. This is why Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, his blood was not from man. And so it was that kind of blood that could make atonement for us.
THE POWER OF COVENANTS
When two people are making a covenant, they become legal representatives of their people, even the unborn children and the coming generation. This means that a covenant somebody entered into 500 years ago, is still working now and will continue to be so, even among children that are yet to be born. It is already waiting for them immediately they come out to the world. This is the power of covenant and this is what we have to note carefully.
How do people enter into this blood covenant trap? I will tell you but first let us look at how you can recognise those who are already inside this blood covenant trap.
A brother came from Ilorin (a town in Nigeria) sometime ago and shared this testimony with me. During a deliverance session for somebody, suddenly two birds flew into the arena when prayers were going on, and began to fight seriously with each other. They fought until our men went there and stopped the fight by killing and burning them.
Why do you think the birds appeared and started fighting? Something had been ignited in the spirit world. Somebody was about to be released from a terrible blood covenant and the battle got so serious that the lord put confusion between the spirits in charge and they started fighting each other. How did they know that something was happening? It is because there was a covenant. Some people may say. “If I travel to England I will escape from all of this.” No, you cannot escape; your great-great-grandfather had ensured one thousand years ago that no matter where you run to, they will know.
RECOGNISING PEOPLE WITH BLOOD COVENANTS
– Anti-harvest forces will be operating in their lives. They will gather but will not enjoy. When harvest is ripe something will happen and everything will fall away.
– Constant marital failure. is evident when a covenant is in place.
– Constant loss of money.
– Inability to sustain a good thing for a long time.
– Unexplainable business failure.
– Constant sickness.
– Financial abortion or financial coffins.
– Failure at the edge of miracles or breakthroughs.
– Wrong marriages.
– Evil nightmares of eating with the dead serving people you don’t know, swimming in water, playing with snakes, marrying in the spirit world, having sexual intercourse with children and adult.
– Demonic dreams.
– Chronic lust, confusion and loneliness.
– Over-sophistication, being too sophisticated to pray.
– Spiritual serpent and scorpion moving around the body.
– Hearing strange voices.
– Constant attack of malaria.
– Dreams about dead people.
– Difficulty in receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
– Unfruitful Christian lives.
– Intense hatred by people who are supposed to be helpful to you.
– All unruly children, unhealthy children.
– Spirit of failure.
All these are evidences that there there evil blood covenants in place.
Beloved, the ball is in your court, because he provision to be free from all the evil effects of blood covenants has been made and unless you use it, nothing positive happens.
If you bought a soap from the market, remove its wrapper and put it on a shelf, and you admire it day and night, but you never use it, you will still have dirty clothes or a dirty body.
HOW DO PEOPLE ENTER INTO THIS EVIL BLOOD COVENANT TRAP?
I. VIRGIN COVENANT
I will ask some questions. Sister, who disvirgined you? How did you lose your virginity? Brother, have you ever deflowered anyone? If you are a man who had deflowered more than one lady, and you did not marry any of them, then don’t be surprised now if your life is upside down. Because with your reproductive organ mixed with the blood, of these girls, you have made a covenant with them. It is with this your organ that you had your other offsprings; so by implication, all your children too are polluted. If you are unlucky, like many sinners, and the girl you disvirgined is demonic, you have made a covenant with that girl and her demon. If nothing is now working in your life, you caused the problem. So think about it, because this might be the origin of what you are facing now.
You might have been raped and don’t even know where the people who raped you are now, or you might have accompanied your friends to rape a girl; that may be your problem because you have formed a covenant.
A lady was raped by about six men and she did not go to the police to file a report. Eventually the police found out, came to her and asked. “We hope they did not hurt or harm you?” Do you know what she told the police? She said. “Actually I was enjoying it.” When I saw that she was laughing. I knew immediately she knew what she did. Those six men were finished, that is all.
2. INCISION
Incision is a strategy for a blood covenant and pollution. You open up your body for a blood covenant with the witchdoctor or demons, and you create holes through which your blood could be drawn.
3. SEX OUTSIDE MARRIAGE
Another covenant trap is sex outside marriage. When you make yourself one body with a woman, your entire system, blood, everything have been mixed together. What I am saying is this. It is possible that as you are here, a part of your body is in a witchcraft meeting, simply because you slept with a witch, or you woman, because you slept with a wizard.
Your present state of holiness cannot deliver you from what I am saying now, neither can your new birth, because you did it when you were in the world. Your present state of holiness can only prevent a re-occurrence. Your new birth opens a door for total deliverance.
Take a man who travelled to England and met a 20-year old British girl. This Nigerian man was going to school while the poor English girl was working hard to support him. The girl sweated until this man was .able to gel a degree. However, this man never told the British girl that he was already married at home with three children. Then one day he carried his bag, told the girl that he was going to visit a friend somewhere in Scotland and jumped into an aircraft, abandoned the girl and ran back to Nigeria. Later, he crashed his car under a trailer. If you want to talk about somebody perishing, he perished; for a start his body could not be recognised again in the wreckage. A lot of people might say, “Ah, what a pity, somebody who has lust come back from England'” What happened? He perished because of his sin.
If your sexual partner is your father, or your brother, junior or senior, it is even worse. So many of us wl1l have to specifically mention the names of our sexual partners when confessing our sins.
4. ANIMAL SACRIFICE
If you have ever offered an animal sacrifice, you have made a covenant with demon spirits and they will harass you until you break the blood covenant and loose yourself from their grip. You must mention the name of the animal you used, and release yourself.
If you have offered so many sacrifices and you cannot remember all of them, you have to ask the Holy Spirit to remind you, because the single one you forget, the devil will hide there.
All those who always say that a prophet tells them to slaughter a chicken or fowl and distribute, are forming blood covenants. All those whose parents kill something for them every birthday, are thus renewing contracts with demons.
5. ABORTION
All those who have ever carried out any abortion, including the doctor who did it and the man who gave the woman the money to do it have formed blood covenants. There are spirits that will enter into them and give them frustration and general backwardness. Their children will be affected later, because the blood of the aborted babies will be crying out against them.
6. TATTOO
If some of our mothers are asked to uncover their bodies, we will see strange pictures and marks there, and they do not understand why things are so rough for them. Some have these strange pictures on their right hands, some on the left, some on their shoulders. All kinds of pictures are there; they are blood covenants. So the Bible that says, “Don’t make a mark on your body”, warns you because of these blood covenants. The Bible is against skin marks because in the process of making them your blood could get contaminated and covenants would be formed. When you see a man with that kind of demonic mark on the body, and he is not born again, he generally tends to be polygamous and a woman with such a mark generally has marital problems.
7. EATERS OF FLESH AND DRINKERS OF BLOOD
Blood transferred from eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood forms covenant between two or more people. You know that if you go to a quack hospital, they use needles they have used for one patient to inject another patient thereby taking the blood from one patient to another. The eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood do not sterilise their mouths. They bite sister ‘A’ and drink her blood; by the time they bite sister ‘B’ they transfer to her the blood from sister ‘A’. In this way they form covenants. When people don’t have fire, they are easy victims.
8. MAN AND WOMAN CIRCUMCISION
Evil agents are involved in circumcision sometimes. When they can circumcise a man or a woman, blood covenants are formed with the reproductive organ of such a person and marital problems may follow.
9. HOSPITALS
There are satanic agents operating in hospitals; they are there to hunt for blood. So if you have to go to the hospital, you have to cover yourself with the blood of Jesus and be praying while you are there because of the evil agents that are there sometimes.
10. SATANIC COMMUNION
Receiving communion from the hands of demonic pastors or priests is dangerous. Something happened sometime ago in a church near us here. They were fighting in the church, and the fight was so serious that the church was divided into two camps. Some members were holding their service upstairs and the others on the ground floor. When the sermon was being preached upstairs, those downstairs would be singing praise worship inside the same church. Yet people sat down there. In that kind of place, any type of communion you take is an initiation, into a covenant.
When you know that your priest belongs to a secret society, when you know that your priest is becoming strangely friendly with a girl- friend, and is a fornicator, and he gives you communion and you take, you have been initiated into a covenant.
11. BLOOD BATH
Some people bathe with blood because they believe their problems are too much for them. They kill a goat; put the blood in a bucket, and bathe with it. It may sound strange to you, but people do it.
12. ANOINTING BY BLOOD
There are people who put blood on their head and pray demonic prayers on it. These people have thus made a covenant.
13. BLOOD LIBATION
When blood is poured on the ground or on objects for “praying” purposes, a blood covenant is formed.
14. UNCONSCIOUS DECEPTION INTO A READY-MADE COVENANT
When a person is wounded and blood is coming our, and an evil person comes around and puts his finger on the wound to stop the blood flow and later puts the finger in his mouth, he has formed a covenant with that person.
15. INHERITED COVENANT
Through sinful practices evil spirits can terrorise a family for generations and until there is a true repentance and a command to these demons to go, the family will continue to be afflicted. Even though members of the family have given their lives to Christ, they will still suffer because of ignorance. Those covenants our parents entered into, are still binding unless we break them specifically.
16. MARITAL COVENANT
I have described this earlier when lovers cut themselves, lick each others blood and swear to be faithful to each other, they have made a covenant.
17. CONSUMPTION OF DEMONIC FOOD
There are some people who actually cook blood and eat It. Others to drink blood mixed with fresh milk. They are all making covenants with the spirit world.
18. EAR AND NOSE PIERCING
It is bad enough to have holes in your ears. It is even worse when you increase the ones your parents put there to three. All you have done is to triple the covenant.
19. SEX WITH MENSTRUATING WOMAN
Take for example, armed robbers entered into a house and told a woman there to remove her dress. Despite her protest and the fact that she was menstruating, they raped her. This will produce a blood covenant.
20. THROUGH THE ACTIVITIES OF THE BLOOD HUNTERS
Those who are actually hunting for blood are everywhere because the devil has a satanic blood bank, which must be supplied regularly with blood. When blood is low there, the hunters go to a country and cause a war or accident to get blood. They cause all kinds of evil things; they can even make husband and wife to fight and beat themselves until blood starts to flow. They collect their blood and the husband and wife will reconcile, not knowing that they have already formed a covenant with demons.
THE WAY OUT
1. Complete repentance. All sins must be confessed and forsaken. All of them.
2. Renounce the covenants. Prayers of renouncing covenants have to be done aloud, vigorously, violently and aggressively, for
them to work, because some of us may be breaking something which is about a thousand years old. Some of us may be
trying to escape from an evil umbrella that has already covered so many people. You want to run, but cannot run, and you
know that the demon holding the umbrella will pursue anybody who wants to run. That is why some people have terrible
dreams of being pursued.
3. Bind the spirit in charge of the evil covenant.
4. Speak destruction to their products. The covenants can produce evil things because of their long stay.
Beloved, we have a very serious prayer section to address.
A sister was failing her school certificate exams. Her mother went to consult an oracle and was told to go and form a covenant with the river so that she could pass. So they cut the girl, took a bit of her blood, used it to write her name on an egg and threw it into a river. The girl passed the examination, and that was 22 years ago.
She studied medicine and got her degree, got married, had the first daughter, the second daughter and then the demons came and said. “Well, we allowed you to pass your school certificate and other exams and you are not serving us; you are going to enter into trouble now.” The woman did not understand what they meant because she was going to fellowship in a church where this kind of things were neither taught nor taken seriously.
The attack started this way: one day, the husband brought a girl home and told madam. “This girl will stay in the guest room. She is my business partner. The wife said. “But you are a Christian you cannot do this, you can’t do this”, but the man did not answer back.
The next day, the man brought another girl, and said to the wife, “You see now they are two business partners and both of them will stay in the guestroom.” After a week, the two girls started, fighting and the madam said. “What kind of thing is this? You gave these people accommodation and they are fighting now.” Before madam could say. “Jesus is Lord”, the next thing she heard from her husband was. “Well, they are fighting because that room is too choked. Therefore one of them will have to move into our bedroom.” Then the madam said. “This is very bad. I am going to report to your pastor.” The husband said. “Very simple, if you report me to the pastor, I will just stop coming to the church, finish.”
At first, the Wife wanted to fight, but later decided to come to us, and we were able to locate that she had formed a covenant, and the demons were just warning up. She then prayed and broke the blood covenant. It took her six aggressive hours, and the two girls ran out of her house and peace was restored.
Therefore, you have work to do. The work may not stop with praying once. Some people may spend quite some time because some covenants take time to break.
In case you have not given your life to Christ, you cannot break anything. So the first thing to do. Is to surrender your life to Jesus. Take the first step towards receiving your freedom by saying this prayer: “Father in the name of Jesus, I come before you and I claim the power of the blood of Jesus. I want You to forgive me my sins. Lord Jesus come into my life. Thank You Jesus. Amen.”
If you are a higher eagle who have been converted to a lower eagle and caged, today is your day of freedom. Amen.
PRAYER SECTION
1. If you know you are guilty of these things, repent and ask for forgiveness. If you know you sold your virginity at a cheap price or
you did so unwillingly, ask the Lord to forgive you because you want to break the stubborn yoke. This evil trend must not
continue.
2. Put one hand on the head, and the other on the stomach. All prayers to renounce covenants, whether consciously or
unconsciously entered into, are to be said aggressively, vigorously and loudly because you might be fighting a battle that is
two thousand years old. The Bible says. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Say this with holy
aggression:
“Holy Ghost Fire, boll spiritual contamination out of my blood (boll as boiling water for purification; as it boils the water vapour
condenses and it becomes pure water). Say this once and repeat. “Holy Ghost Fire boll, it out.”
3. I release myself from every satanic blood covenant, in the name of Jesus.
4. Grip your head with your two hands and pray very aggressively. “I release my head from every evil blood covenant, in the
name of Jesus.
5. Still gripping your head with your two hands” I dismantle every stronghold of evil covenants, in the name of Jesus.”
6. When somebody enters into an evil covenant, a curse is issued on him. As he is breaking the covenant, the curse too is there;
he is bombarded by two different things, the covenant and the curse. So, pray like this. “I release myself from every
covenanted curse, in the name of Jesus.
7. Let the blood of Jesus speak against every unconscious evil covenant.
8. I speak destruction unto the fruits of unclean spirits in my life, in the name of Jesus.
9. I break every evil covenant linkage, in the name of Jesus.
10. I dismantle every stronghold of evil blood covenants, in the name of Jesus.
11. I nullify the effects of evil access to my blood, in Jesus’ name.
12. I release myself from every covenanted-curse, in Jesus’ name.
13. I release every organ in my body from the grip of evil blood covenant, in the name of Jesus.
14. I dissociate myself and my family from every territorial blood covenant, in the name of Jesus.
15. I dissociate myself from every tribal blood covenant in the name of Jesus.
16. I dissociate myself from every Inherited blood covenant, in the name of Jesus.
17. I withdraw my blood from every evil altar, in the name of Jesus.
18. I withdraw my blood from every satanic blood bank, in the name of Jesus.
19. I break every unconscious evil blood covenant, in Jesus’ name.
20. Let the blood of any animal shed on my behalf loose its covenant power, in the name of Jesus.
21. Let every drop of blood speaking evil against me be silenced by the blood of Jesus.
22. I release myself from every collective blood covenant captivity, in the name of Jesus.
23. I release myself from every conscious or unconscious evil blood covenant, in the name of Jesus.
24. Let the blood of every evil covenant loose its power over me, in the name of Jesus.
25. I defy and destroy every evil covenant agreement, in Jesus name.
26. Let the blood of the new-covenant speak against the blood of any evil covenant militating against inc, in the name of Jesus.
27. I receive the mandate to disqualify the right of all evil blood covenants, in the, name of Jesus.
28. Every evil blood covenant formed with any organ of my body, be nullified by the blood of Jesus.
29. I recover all the good things stolen through evil covenants by the enemies, in the name of Jesus.
30. Let every evil blood covenant along my blood-line be neutralised, in the name of Jesus.
31. I release myself from every curse attached to evil covenants, in the name of Jesus.
32. I release myself from the grip of curse-covenant breakers, in the name of Jesus.
33. Let every repercussion of breaking unconscious covenants be washed away by the blood of Jesus.

PRAYER WARFARE SECTION
“HOWBEIT THIS KIND GOETH NOT OUT BUT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.”
HOW TO PRAY RESULT-ORIENTED PRAYERS
It is strongly advised that you pray in any of these ways as led by the Holy Spirit:
A. 7 days’ night vigil (praying from 12 midnight to 3:00 am).
B. 7 days’ fast breaking daily (breaking at 7:00 pm).
C. 21 days’ night vigil (praying from 12 midnight to 3:00 am).
D. 21 days fast breaking daily (breaking at 7:00 pm).
E. 3 or more days of dry fast.
Note: All prayers must be said very aggressively in the name of Jesus (not mumble).
‘Pray in the Spirit’ – Praying in the Spirit is an ability to pray in tongues as given utterance by the Holy Spirit. To pray in the Spirit, you must have been baptised in the Holy Ghost (not water baptism) – Mark 16:17; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 14:15.

Jesus is Lord over’ my spirit, soul and body for the word of God tells me that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Jesus has delivered me from the powers of darkness and has translated me into the kingdom of His Dear Son. In Jesus I have redemption through His shed blood and also forgiveness of sins. Jesus has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against me which was contrary to me, and took it out of the way nailing it to His cross. I am the body of Christ. I am redeemed from the curse because Jesus bore my physical and spiritual diseases in His body. I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Thank the Lord for His power to deliver from any form of bondage.
2. I confess the sins of my ancestors (list them).
3. Ask the Lord for forgiveness.
4. Ask the Lord to forgive those you do not know about.
5. Let the power in the blood of Jesus separate me from the sins of my ancestors.
6. I renounce any evil dedication placed upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. I break every evil edict and ordination, in the name of Jesus.
8. I renounce and loose myself from every negative dedication placed upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
9. I command an demons associated with the dedication to leave now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
10. I take authority over all the associated curses in Jesus’ name.
11. Lord, cancel the evil consequences of any broken demonic promise or dedication.
12. I take authority over all the curses emanating from broken dedication, in the name of Jesus.
13. I command all demons associated with any broken evil parental vow and dedication to depart from me now, in the name of
Jesus.
14. Ask the Lord do separate you completely from all the sins of your forefathers by the precious blood of Jesus.
15. Ask the Lord to remove the curse if it was from Him.
16. Command the curse of . . . to be broken in the name of Jesus.
17. Apply the oil and command all demons associated with the curse to leave at once, in the name of Jesus.
18. Command any demon afflicting the . . . or causing . . . to leave at once, in the name of Jesus.
19. Ask the Lord to heal all the damages done.
20. I dismiss and disband from my heart every thought, image or picture of failure in these matters, in the name of Jesus.
21. I reject every spirit of doubt, fear and discouragement, in the name of Jesus.
22. I cancel all ungodly delays to the manifestation of my miracles, in the name of Jesus.
23. Let the angels of the living God roll away every stone of hindrance to the manifestation of my breakthroughs, in the name of
Jesus.
24. O Lord, hasten Your word to perform it in every department of my life.
25. O Lord, avenge me of my adversaries speedily.
26. I refuse to agree with the enemies of my progress, in Jesus’ name.

31. Let there be turbulence, re-arrangement, revision, re-organisation and re-routing of situations and circumstances in order to
give path to my desire miracles. In the name of Jesus.
32. Let every hole present in the container of my life be mended, in the name of Jesus.
33. I bind, plunder and render to nothing every anti-testimony, anti-miracle and anti-prosperity forces, in the name of Jesus.
