| PentecostalTheology.comPERSISTING IN SIN: BE WARNED – Ray E Horton
This is for someone reading here. You will know who you are. I would like to say peace, peace, be encouraged. But I can’t. The Lord has put words in my mouth to write to you.
Self-Deceived
There are Christians who are self-deceived thinking they can get away with secret sin since they are saved, and heaven bound. But, be warned, your sin will find you out
There are Christians who are self-deceived thinking they can get away with secret sin since they are saved, and heaven bound. But, be warned, your sin will find you out and there will be inescapable earthly consequences.
Yes, our God is a God of love and mercy, but He will not prevent those consequences which you bring upon yourself. Our life is in Jesus. Turn back in repentance and He will give you the power and courage to abandon your sin. Humbly accept the consequences of your wrongdoing that you brought on yourself, and He will strengthen you and bring you through.
Follow the Spirit’s leading to make right that which you have the ability to make right, healing the wounds of those you have hurt wherever you can.
Never fear! It may seem overwhelming, but His grace is sufficient. His power to overcome has already been placed within you. Just trust Jesus and do what He shows you to do. You will experience a whole new peace. Your life will turn around and you will serve Him with joy and find your divine assignment and fulfill your destiny.
Do it now! Turn back in repentance and He will deliver you. Trust in Him and His power within. And watch your life of misery and guilt turn around to one of joy and fulfillment. Do not give up if it takes some time. Let go, get up and move forward. He will give you direction and steer you on the right path.
But remember:
“You felt secure in your wickedness and said, ‘No one sees me,’ Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have deluded you; For you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one besides me.’ But evil will come on you...” (Isaiah 10-11).
