Jonathan McCandless | PentecostalTheology.comInterested to hear what people’s thoughts are on the Nephilim in Gen. 6 and how it might relate to today? “As in the days of Noah”.
Brian Crisp [01/12/2016 12:53 PM]
The Nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and human women. Some believe they are returning somehow but I do not know if I buy into that for now at least.
John Kissinger [01/12/2016 1:34 PM]
discussed so many times in this group that it got old http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/?s=Nephilim
Jonathan McCandless [01/12/2016 1:43 PM]
I didn’t know that it was talked about before. Is it no proper to talk about it again????? Is there any other subjects I shouldn’t bring up because they’ve been talked about before?
But it is old actually, dates back to Early biblical times.
Ricky Grimsley [01/12/2016 3:06 PM]
I believe that it relates now because laboratories all over the world are creating human/chimeras. I believe that the nephilim topic is what jesus was eluding to in his famous in the days of noah quote. If you are familiar with tom horn or steve quayle….that is exactly what i believe.

Jonathan McCandless just keeping you informed of what’s already done here. Do tell us your opinion of interest in this topic!
Jonathan McCandless [01/12/2016 8:04 PM]
I tend to agree with Ricky. Very interesting topic! Transhumanism and what they are trying to do with the human DNA is frightful to say the least!
John Kissinger [01/12/2016 8:13 PM]
I take it you did not read the discussion 🙂

Reading it yes.tonight.

I think Pentecostals fall on both sides of the issue. By both I mean angels taking human wives versus the sons of Seth theory. I suppose there could be other interpretations.
IMO< Jude and II Peter 2 seem to lend a bit of credence to the angels and the daughters of men view.

IMO Heiser is so lost with the 70 sons of God that there’s just no way around it. Link Hudson Instead of speaking for all Pentecostals tell us what the Indonesian cog believes the nephelims were / are ? http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/is-heiser-the-source-of-jesus-and-yhwh/
Link Hudson
I never heard an Indonesian address the topic, except my wife in conversation. She believes more along the lines of the Coptic book of Enoch version.
What does that have to do with the caption? The question doesn’t make sense. Jesus predated Heiser. How old is Sabellianism
Varnel Watson
There there – talk more about the the Coptic book of Enoch
Link Hudson
Troy Day The book of Enoch we can read today is from Ethiopia. Sorry, not Coptic. The two groups are in fellowship so I put Coptic instead of Ethiopian or Amharic. I think it was Amharic. Not sure.
