“How to Surrender to the Supernatural Influence of God”
Great Word from an excellent book by my Facebook friend Amanda Butel. From Australia, she and her husband are currently doing missions work in Thailand.
Following is some text from the from Amanda Butel’s rich and prophetic e-book:
From the Introduction – “The Rising”:
My prayer is that each and every member of the Body of Christ would rise in their position of rulership over the principalities of darkness in their regions —declaring the goodness and power of our faithful Lord. Then we would see revival break forth in our own lives, within our families, neighborhoods — exploding across the earth.
Why not come on, people of God? Why not? If our hearts are aligned with the will of the Lord, nothing is impossible through Jesus. This is our Heavenly Father’s desire! His passion is for PEOPLE, those who would incline their hearts to Him and be made whole, that not one would perish, but that all would live life abundantly. And His promises are for everyone — not just a privileged few. The Spirit of the Lord is looking for people to abide in and move through.
Will you pay the price?
Are you prepared to pay the price to see His Kingdom come in your home, and transform the hearts and atmosphere in your world?
God reveals in His Word what it will take to see such results. Isaiah 62 imparts the revelation that revival requires: the devoted watchmen to never cease reminding the Lord of His promises; the relentless efforts of the highway builders to “Prepare the way, Take out the stones,” and “Lift up a banner for the peoples.”
And it will take the faithful to “broadcast” His completion, His promises, even before they become apparent.
How about you, my revivalist friend? Are you prepared to pay the price to see His Kingdom come in your home, and transform the hearts and atmosphere in your world? Can you commit to remain unceasingly in an attitude of prayer, to clear away any debris within your heart, extracting all obstructions hindering God’s freedom for you? Are you willing to declare His goodness, no matter what? Are you courageously inviting the Lord’s Glory to permeate every part of your being, however that might look? Are you humbly expectant to experience God as never before? Are you positioned to see lives changed? Will you say “Yes” to heaven’s longing? Will you burn for Jesus? Will you be His sign and wonder?
Although I have experienced great fulfillment and purpose within His presence, I am so desperate for more. But I am increasingly aware that many of us are caught up in life as usual. Some of our expectancy levels have dropped. We don’t cry out for a move of God. We don’t repent and humble ourselves in a way that quickens the Spirit of God to heal our land and arise with His Glory within us.
Ordinary folk arising
I do believe, however, that this trend of ‘mixture’ — this complacency within the Church — is changing. God is raising up ordinary folk — just like you and I — with a burning passion for His heart, for His Word, for His presence, for His promises, for His supernatural power, for His Glory, for His Kingdom to come.
