ORDER MY STEPS TODAY

“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, FOR THE LORD UPHOLDS HIM WITH HIS HAND.” (Psa. 37:23-24) [The KJV says: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:” We would certainly be blessed if we walked where the Lord directed us to walk. You know how we are as parents; we are very concerned about where our children go and what they do, because we want them to be safe and secure. That is how our Abba Father is; He is a very concerned parent toward His children. The Lord has and will make His way “clear” to us, we just need to learn to LISTEN and OBEY!] “I was young and now I am old, yet I have NEVER seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psa. 37:25) [Remember the key is to LISTEN then be OBEDIENT!] “The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, BECAUSE THEY TAKE REFUGE IN HIM.” (Psa. 37:39-40) [Our Abba Father intends that Christ as our savior will be all-sufficient to us: He is our strength in time of trouble, to support us under it and carry us through it. He shall help us and deliver us, help us to do their duties, to bear our burdens, and to maintain us in our spiritual struggles, help us to bear our troubles and get good from them, and, in due time, shall deliver us out of our troubles!] “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF GOD LIVES FOREVER.” (1 John 2:15-17) [The heart of man is narrow, and cannot contain both loves. The world attractions draw us away from the heart from God; and so the more the love of the world overcomes the more the love of God dwindles and decays! That is why we must SEEK GOD to order our steps!] “And now, dear children, CONTINUE IN HIM, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.” (1 John 2:28-29)
