“We are certain that such steps will yield increased hatred, conflict, violence and suffering in Jerusalem and the Holy Land, moving us farther from the goal of unity and deeper toward destructive division.
“We ask from you, Mr President, to help us all walk towards more love and a definitive peace, which cannot be reached without Jerusalem being for all.” https://www.timesofisrael.com/heads-of-jerusalem-churches-deliver-last-minute-plea-to-trump/

Can’t imagine being in city of David and of our Lord. Must be hard to walk the same street.

It is powerful.

Hatred, conflict and violence have been part of existence in the Middle East since Abraham. A Presidential declaration of moving the embassy will not change that one iota. Why? Because those things are attitudes of the heart whether or not they are physically manifested!

Bottom line, muslims in middle east only desire the destruction of the Jews. hard to have peace with a mass murderer who desires your kids to die a long horrible death.
Recognizing that reality is a step toward peace. Any other approach is just insanity.
Ira Huth
The goal of unity and peace is only going to be accomplished by the destruction of evil demonic forces by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Till then it is insanity not recognizing, defending, and protecting against those forces.

Christopher Noel Boggess You are against the wall – the wall has been there for centuries. Just like there has been wall separating the whole country of Cyprus in the 80s Walls are the least of our worries right now
What is happening is a geopolitical prepositioning in the Middle East. You have US, Israel and Saudi Arabia on one side and Iran, Turkey and Russia on the other – classic Gog and Magog BTW. Iraq which is Babylon is in the middle of the conflict And of course Dubai some 60 miles across the Gulf which plays and will play a major financial role. Anyone who has served there since Dessert Storm sees it and knows what I am talking about. Even Ricky Grimsley who is generally on the opposing side in the Gog and Magog discussions now sees the ushering of NWO or antiChrist or whatever you wanna call this whole apocalyptic mess.
Now it is of no surprise that NAR kingdom now theologians are having a heyday with this starting with the late Wagner, 700club/CBN and more and more Charisma magazine Dan Irving has warned us time and time again of this NAT theology upraising and there it is on TV and it aint fake news. The question we need to discuss here even with the risk of becoming political theologians is what exactly is the role and stand of classical Pentecostals in this situation.
We need to listen what the Spirit is saying to the churches. And through this letter our brothers and sisters from Jerusalem are telling us that the Spirit is saying to build peace not make war. Will we hear the voice of the Spirit speaking to us through the churches in Jerusalem today?
