One of the duties of the Christian is to serve as a guardian against those who would attempt to contort the Scripture to fit their doctrine, or use Christian concepts for their own personal gain.

Therefore, I have compiled this list of 5 Popular Christian Teachers To Avoid

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 11:44 AM]
never heard of Gail Riplinger but it mentions Todd Bentley Peter A Vandever

Peter A Vandever [12/29/2015 11:45 AM]
Anyone can blog.

John Conger [12/29/2015 12:02 PM]
John MacArthur could’ve made the list. Anyone who teaches that you can take the mark of the beast and still be saved is a false teacher in my book

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 12:03 PM]
MacArthur teaches that? WHERE?

John Conger [12/29/2015 1:29 PM]
He teaches you can still be saved after taking the mark

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 1:29 PM]
article, book, URL pls – this is too peculiar to have missed ๐Ÿ˜‰

John Conger [12/29/2015 1:39 PM]

Interstate cleared up. House is not

Corey Forsyth [12/29/2015 2:37 PM]
No posting and driving!

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 4:21 PM]
give him a verse for that Ricky Grimsley

Timothy D McCune [12/29/2015 5:01 PM]
I agree except for David Bernard and the comments on the Pentecostal church.

Ricky Grimsley [12/29/2015 5:06 PM]
I dont know anything about gail riplinger but the other 4 i do know. Joel osteen, and todd bentley need to repent. Steven anderson may actually be insane. I disagree with the oneness theology of bernard but he is a great man of god, in my opinion.

Corey Forsyth [12/29/2015 5:53 PM]
I cannot get past Osteen’s failure to defend the basics of the gospel. I was never fond of his teachings, but his cowardice when asked if Jesus was truly the only way ruined what little respect I kept for him. Bentley is somewhat new to me. Videos I’ve seen make me quite suspicious. Steve Anderson is an idiot to say the least. But the others I have no clue about. Of course there are a few more that should probably be on that list in my opinion.

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 5:54 PM]
So Riplinger’s sin is she wrote a book against the NIV. Bet Charles Page has her book autographed ๐Ÿ™‚

Peter A Vandever [12/29/2015 6:04 PM]
I understand the concerns about Todd but I still call him friend.

John Kissinger [12/29/2015 6:13 PM]
Peter has enough sense to spot a false teacher. So maybe we need to invite Bentley to the group for a chat ๐Ÿ™‚

Corey Forsyth [12/29/2015 6:22 PM]
I think I would actually trust Peter A Vandever in his assessment. At the very least, Todd’s style isn’t my preference.

Peter A Vandever [12/29/2015 6:25 PM]
I will be with him in March. I will pass on your concern lol Seriously, I have some serious concern about his theology but he is not a theologican. If you want a great exgenesis on Romans, you go to Eddie Hyatt; if you want a miracle service you go to Todd. I love them both.

Peter A Vandever [12/29/2015 6:27 PM]
For the record, I would not put Todd into the false teacher grouping…. he is not teaching another Jesus or another gospel. He is dead wrong on some things but that does not make him a false teacher…. just dead wrong.

Marty Baker [12/30/2015 7:09 AM]
Apparently you have never listened to Joel Osteen. He loves lost people and is willing to be dis-credited by religious leaders to accomplish the mission. It sounds like Jesus, doesn’t it?

Ricky Grimsley [12/30/2015 7:15 AM]
Isnt Todd Bentley living in adultery?

Ricky Grimsley [12/30/2015 7:19 AM]
Marty Baker joel osteen is being discredited all the way to the bank. Him and joseph prince teach dangerous things like that confessing your sins after initial conversion is a lack of faith.

John Conger [12/30/2015 8:20 AM]
Also refuses to call sin sin. Talk about hell. Etc Jesus actually spoke more about hell then he did heaven. And I truly believe simply repeating a prayer doesn’t save you

John Kissinger [12/30/2015 9:23 AM]
