Good morning my dearly beloved.

Daniel ch. 2:1-49. Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream.

Beloved can you imagine being asked to interpret someone else’s dream? How absurd would that be? And being told that if you could not you would be killed. The Chaldeans were highly educated people in those days. BUT my dearly beloved friends! If we are not spiritually connected to the Great God of the universe, it matters not how much education we have. 1Corinthians 2:14 tells us _“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”_ Look also at Daniel’s way of handling this matter. He sought the assistance of his godly friends to intercede with God to reveal the interpretation of the dream to Daniel. God moved through them because of their faithfulness. Prayer and fasting is KEY! Also, Daniel gave all credit to the Lord. _*(Borrowed text) Nebuchadnezzar was shown the “political” future of the world. The “head of gold” is a fitting symbol for Babylon’s incomparable luxury and magnificence. Babylon was followed by the nations of Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome which eventually separated into the nations of Europe.*_ Beloved we are living in the last days. There is yet 1 part of this prophecy left to be fulfilled and that is God will set up His Kingdom which shall never be destroyed. This earth shall be restored to it’s original state as it was in Eden. We, His people will be restored to our rightful healthy state and we will live in peace and harmony as was the original intent of God. This is what we just closed out the book of Revelation with. Do we see how these 2 books support each other on these last days events? We serve an awesome God. Let us continue to search the scriptures and be drawn closer to God.

Hundreds of years before certain nations came upon the stage of action, the Omniscient One looked down the ages and predicted the rise and fall of the universal kingdoms. God declared to Nebuchadnezzar that the kingdom of Babylon should fall, and a second kingdom would arise, which also would have its period of trial. Failing to exalt the true God, its glory would fade, and a third kingdom would occupy its place. This also would pass away; and a fourth, strong as iron, would subdue the nations of the world.
