I rebuke the sin. Firm but not rude. I grabbed him by the shoulders and break the curse of addiction. Asking God to give him strength and courage and touch his heart with faith and mercy. Thanking God for sparing his life. Then I kissed him on the forehead. Then I saw the midget. We talked. He asked are you preaching today? What could I say? I better get back to Exodus or maybe Matthew. I’m supposed to read 1 John. I should do that first. Then go back downtown. God willing I’ll be there for rush hour. Lots of foot traffic. That Jesus is really something. He’s always up to something. Maybe he’ll tell me. …yeah right.
