I had a revelation. I figured it out! My block, where I live, is where the rookie got tazed. Used to be a notorious dope spot and pick up place. They tore down the old tavern. Old school shot and a beer type, cashed checks, sold liquor to take home, cheap tapers etc. and they had “working girls” up stairs. Anyways it’s gone but the devil is still around. You know how he likes to hold turf.
To the point. It’s right here where I live. Lots of folks out and about. Great foot traffic. A thousand cars in rush hour for my sign. I know alot of these people. It’s my old neighborhood. Plenty of conversations for Christ. Jesus Christ the righteous. Maybe a few rebukes nothing hard or ugly. Well almost. But when the say I’m blessed and smoking you almost have to call them out. Firm. With scripture. Trying to be pleasant but thorough.
They’re a lot of fake preachers out there. People believe they’re blessed smoking drinking and sleeping around. Living in sin is not blessed. Sorry. Nooo.
So sure makes sense. My own block my own corner where I know them they know me. That way the guy that threatened to beat me up last year knows I ain’t scared and the guy that rejected Jesus Christ a few years ago knows Jesus still loves him and will call him up to the very end. Then comes the judgment. It’s appointed unto men once to die then comes the judgment. You can break a lot of appointments but not that one. You can tell your mother I can’t come home right now. But not God. He calls you, you’re done.
I love all streets and blocks and opportunities to mention Jesus Christ. He’s a wonderful Saviour. So I’ll be all over town. But why not give my own block where I live the most time. That way I can put in more hours. Plus I’m home in 5 minutes. Makes sense hugh? That Jesus is really something. He’s very smart. I love him so much. Every one should hear the name of Jesus with rejoicing and faith and victory over sin. And it’s good seed. The best. Redemption and Reconciliation and Righteousness!
