Exodus 33:19 KJV — And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. My heart is overwhelmed with the goodness of the Lord this morning. The young man I prayed with to receive Christ and to be delivered from heroin addiction. When he had nightmares and couldn’t sleep I anointed him with oil and prayed. God gives his beloved sleep and rest. When his girlfriend left him for another man I prayed and asked God to heal his heart. Jesus heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. I made sure to his meetings safely. I went to court with him and spoke to the judge. We broke the bread of life together. Over a month, everyday. We prayed and spoke of the goodness and mercy of God. Now he is 6 months clean. Traveling the country making deliveries. God has saved him and healed him and delivered him. God has given him worth and meaning. I’m kinda of overwhelmed. One guy full of joy and living the life God that meant for him. Now he’s a blessing and an encouragement. That Jesus is really something!
