LIVING UNDER THE CARE OF THE KING OF KING’S

“When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said, “Mephibosheth!” “At your service,” he replied. “DON’T BE AFRAID,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and YOU WILL ALWAYS EAT AT MY TABLE.” (2 Sam. 9:6-7) [Mephibosheth was the former King’s (Saul) grandson, he was the son of Jonathan, a man whom David had entered into a covenant with and promised to watch over his family. Most all of Saul’s family had been killed by now, so King David invited Mephibosheth to come and live with him and EAT AT THE KING’S TABLE and of course be under the King’s protection!] “I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus…to keep the commandment…until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ…HE WHO IS the blessed and only Sovereign, the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, who alone has immortality…To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.” (1 Tim. 6:13-16) [We are so very blessed to be a joint heir with this King of King’s who said to us:] “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I WILL COME IN AND EAT WITH THAT PERSON, and they with me.” (Rev. 3:20) [Just imagine, every morning waking up and sitting around the table with our Lord and savior. Wow!] “To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to SIT WITH ME ON MY THRONE, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.” (Rev. 3:21) [Not only will we sit at His table but we will have access to the tree of life!] “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right TO EAT FROM THE TREE OF LIFE, which is in the paradise of God.” (Rev. 2:7) [We will truly be face-to-face with our Lord and our God!] “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now AMONG THE PEOPLE, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and GOD HIMSELF WILL BE WITH THEM AND BE THEIR GOD. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be NO MORE DEATH’ or MOURNING or CRYING or PAIN, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Rev. 21:3-4) Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that OUR ABBA FATHER WILL WIPE EVERY TEAR FROM OUR EYES. THERE WILL BE NO MORE DEATH’ OR MOURNING OR CRYING OR PAIN!
