Mr Troy Dayit’s not 24 hours since you posted. I know there are some “Soulwinners” in this group. Of the almost 5 thousand members of this group I would say the majority have a heart for God. How does that translate for the souls of men and influence for Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God differs widely.Pastors must be the must trusting of men. They seldom see the fruits of evangelism. An evangelist will come to town the report will be “hundreds saved” at a cost of many thousands but the local churches report no gains. To answer your question, for my part, it’s been 2 weeks. And three weeks. He said he would come to church. He was a no show. The young woman wept and cried with repentance and prayed to get right with God. Renouncing sexual sin and drugs. It was in broad day light. She walked away rejoicing in Jesus Christ.I hope this will help and encourage someone to say a few words for Jesus and enter into the field white unto harvest. |

Some of us can stand in front of multitude and bring souls to Christ with no problems and others work better 1 on 1. It is why God gave some 5 talents others 3 talents and others 1 talents. When you witness and or just talk to others about Jesus. You might be just planting a seed for someone else or the Holy Spirit to water and it will grow and blossom. You sometimes might not never know this side of Heaven how many souls you effected.I remember working in the inner city of Chicago in the late 80’s and 90’s. As a Security Loss Prevention Supervisor and Manager in the retail industry, apprehending Shoplifters. Some were drug addicts and career criminals. I was a prodigal slowly being drawn back to church and living Christ centered life by the Holy Soirit. When making an apprehension I would always talk to them about Jesus and give them a contact phone number to call for prayer, counseling and guidence. I sometimes ponder about those days and I start praying and weeping for their souls. |
