Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe his dad was an AOG pastor – JA was never shy about his Pentecostal faith, and is probably (alongside interior secretary Watt) the highest placed Pentecostal in the histoire of this republic

Ashcroft is a member of the Assemblies of God. His father was an Assemblies of God minister and served as president of Evangel University (1958–74) and Central Bible College (1958–63). Evangel poster is the background of this picture
