Glo Ry | PentecostalTheology.com It says in Mark chapter 13, verse 6, that when the disciples asked the Lord Jesus what omens there would be for His second coming in the last days, the Lord Jesus said, “For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” And it is recorded in Matthew chapter 24, verse 24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
The Lord Jesus prophesied that when He returned in the last days, there would appear false Christs and false prophets. Over the past few years, false Christs and false prophets have appeared one after another in countries such as South Korea, Japan and China. They call themselves Christ, and not only do they try to pass themselves off with Jesus’ name, but they also try to imitate the Lord Jesus’ signs and wonders, healing the sick, casting out demons, etc. From the appearance of so many false Christs, we can see that this prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus’ return has been fulfilled and that the true Christ has actually already come. At this time, we should even more so take the initiative and seek out the appearance and work of God. Perhaps some brothers and sisters may say: “Now, so many false Christs and false prophets have appeared. If we take the initiative to seek and investigate, what shall we do if we are deceived?” But if we don’t seek and investigate the appearance and work of God because we are afraid of being deceived, we would not know that the Lord has returned, and wouldn’t that make us even more likely to be abandoned? Wouldn’t we be stopping eating because we are afraid of choking, and losing out on a lot to save a little? In fact, as long as we learn to discern the true Christ from false Christs, we won’t have to worry about being deceived by false Christs. So what are the characteristics of a false Christ? What is the difference between the true Christ and false ones? How should we discern them? The Lord said, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders.” From the Lord’s words, we can see that the main features of false Christs are: They can only perform some simple signs and wonders to deceive people, but they are absolutely incapable of performing such miracles as feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fish, and bringing the dead back to life with a word. Furthermore, false Christs are unable to express the truth, provide life for man, and show people the way, so they can only preach fallacies which appear true but which are actually false in order to deceive people. This is because the essence of false Christs is that of extremely wicked evil spirits, and they are completely devoid of truth. Only Christ is the truth, the way and the life; only Christ can express the truth, show us the way and provide us with the way of eternal life. This time, we share a wonderful clip, How to Differentiate Between the True Christ and False Christs 1, from the movie Who Is He That Has Returned. It will teach us to discern between the true Christ and false Christs, and guide us to welcome the Lord Jesus’ return.

‘These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.’ I John 2:26
‘And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” Matthew 24:4-5
“…Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore, do not go after them.” Luke 21:8
In this late hour, there is another treacherous deception being sown by the enemy. Like an enormous Trojan horse from within; most are believing it without any question. What could it be? Many claiming to know Christ are declaring His coming is drawing near; at any moment. Jesus is warning us not to go after them! (Mat. 24:4-5, Luke 21:8)

‘He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.’ 1 John 5:12
This celebrated false prophet boldly declared the Holy Spirit gave him this new revelation. His TV audience was captivated when he shouted, “You don’t have God in you; you are God.” He insisted Christians are an exact replica of the Son of God! It was more than shocking when his audience began praising the Lord. This heresy is a blatant denial of the Son of God. (John 3:18, 1 John 5:11-12) Believers will never inherit divinity. There will always be one God; consisting of the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)
