“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; THE LORD TURN HIS FACE TOWARD YOU AND GIVE YOU PEACE.” (Num. 6:24-26) [The word “peace” comes from the word “sha?lo?m” which means: safe, well, happy, welfare, health and prosperity!] “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way PROSPERITY WILL COME TO YOU.” (Job 22:21) [It is utterly important for every one of us to MAKE OUR PEACE WITH GOD, it is necessary for our health and welfare; for:] “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” (Amos 3:3) [We will be greatly blessed WHEN WE WALK TOGETHER WITH THE LORD, because:] “He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth– THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY IS HIS NAME.” (Amos 4:13) [God has proclaimed Himself to be our Abba Father, and stated that we are His children, as the creator of all things; He is certainly capable of bringing great peace into our lives; at the cost of his only begotten Son!] “…he [Jesus] was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; THE PUNISHMENT THAT BROUGHT US PEACE was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) [Peace in Jesus Christ is THE ONLY TRUE PEACE, and in Jesus alone; we as believers have this peace, through Him we have peace with God, and so in Him we have peace IN OUR OWN MINDS.] “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. I have told you these things, so that IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. In this world you will have trouble. But TAKE HEART! I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” (John 16:33) [Notice the first thing Jesus prays for, is for his disciples, and for our preservation, in these verses, Jesus commits us all to His Father’s custody. “Keeping” presumes danger, and our danger comes from the world, the world in which we live, the evil of this world; Jesus begs we might be kept from:] “I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, PROTECT THEM BY THE POWER OF YOUR NAME, the name you gave me, so that THEY MAY BE ONE AS WE ARE ONE.” (John 17:11) [Sha?lo?m!]

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that WE WILL BE ONE WITH THE FATHER, JUST AS JESUS AND THE FATHER ARE ONE – IN PERFECT PEACE!
