| PentecostalTheology.comIn Genesis 2:1 we read (KJV)
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of
them.
In Nehemiah 9:6 we read (KJV)
Thou, even thou art LORD alone; thy has made heaven, the heaven of
heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are
therein, the seas and all that is therein, and thy preservest them
all, and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
In Job 38:4-7
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare,
if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if
thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are
the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone
thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of
God shouted for joy?
Ezekiel 1:5-12 (will use vs 10 only to save typing do read it all) (KJV)
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a
man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the
face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an
eagle.
Ezekiel 41:19 (KJV)
So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side,
and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side:
it was made through all the house round about
Revelation 4:7
And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf,
and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like
a flying eagle.
The scriptures are clear to me that GOD created and filled the heavens before the earth.
The Cherubim and living creatures had faces of man, lion, eagle & ox.
So are we to believe GOD didn’t name these faces when he created them? That he waited until the creation of man for him to do it as per Gen 2:19, 20?
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and He brought them to the man to see
what he would name each one. And whatever the man called each living
creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the
livestock, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field.
But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
