“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days HE HAS SPOKEN TO US BY HIS SON, WHOM HE APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS, and THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE UNIVERSE.” (Heb. 1:1-2) [God speaks to us by His Son our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, who is the heir- kle?ronomos: the inheritor or possessor of all things, the creator of all things!] “…to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, and WE BY HIM.” (1 Corin. 8:6) [In the beginning was the word…that’s who Jesus was known as in the beginning THE WORD OF GOD, then the Word was made flesh, but while He was the Word, God spoke and the Word went forth and all creation took place!] “…we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour…For it became him, for whom are all things, and BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” (Heb. 2:9-10) [We are so honored and blessed to be called the sons of God, not only are we His sons (and daughters) but:] “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and CO-HEIRS WITH CHRIST, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” (Rom. 8:16-17) [Abba, Father. Abba is a Syriac word meaning father or my father; pate?r, a Greek work; and why both, Abba, Father? Because Christ said so in prayer (Mar_14:36), Abba, Father: and we have received the Spirit of the Son!] “For those who are led by the Spirit of God ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received BROUGHT ABOUT YOUR ADOPTION TO SONSHIP. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (Rom. 8:14-15) [Glory, we are children of the Lord God Almighty!!!]
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that THE SPIRIT HIMSELF TESTIFIES WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN. NOW IF WE ARE CHILDREN, THEN WE ARE…JOINT OR CO-HEIRS WITH CHRIST!
