Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
I have had chronic neck and back pain for 30+ years.
My spine has been damaged by 4 car wrecks and being hit by a car while riding my bicycle.
I blacked out and was taken in an ambulance to an Emergency Room.
I have had spinal fusion surgery for 2 of my neck vertebra.
The pain has been such that on one occasion, I used a hammer and put 2 large holes in the sheet rock.
I have been to many doctors to seek treatment.
I have been to Emergency Rooms many times for treatment for that pain.
I have been to pain specialists for treatment for that pain.
One doctor out of those has shown compassion and has treated my pain.
They know how to treat my pain, but have chosen not to.
I feel that nothing occurs unless God’s sovereign will allows it.
I have been GREATLY harmed and continue to suffer.
I can not enjoy going to church.
I do not enjoy reading my bible because of the pain.
I know that in heaven there will be no pain.
But that does NOT help me with the here and now.
But on Earth, I continue to suffer.
I have to work hard at putting on a fake smile.

No. It’s about ethnic national Israel entering God’s discipline for disobedience.
But it does give us insight into the character of God.

“For thus says Yahweh, ‘When seventy years have been fulfilled for Babylon, I will visit you and establish My good word to you, to return you to this place.
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.
Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
I will be found by you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and I will return your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have banished you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and I will cause you to return to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
