Really? Luk_22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.1 Timothy 5:8 (NKJV)

What do you say Jan Dixon Sykes give every criminal a gun?

The concept of a man’s home is his castle is very old. And Jesus seems to accept it as fact.

The idea is to deprive criminals of weapons by locking them up. But householders are expected to have weapons – especially in an age as in Exodus when there were no police.

Is this what’s being appalled by our current administration?

Another question might be can, or are you, willing to take another man’s life. It is not the ability to do so but the willingness. And in the end to have a clear conscience before God. That’s what matters.
