Did Paul have Psalm 23 in mind when he wrote 1 Cor. 10:13?

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
(1 Co 10:13, ESV)

Compare this with:

         He leads me in paths of righteousness
  for his name’s sake.
        Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
  I will fear no evil,
              for you are with me;
  your rod and your staff,
  they comfort me. (v3-4 ESV)

In particular, providing a way of escape seems to relate to being lead in the path of righteousness. The rod and staff relate to God’s guidance and correction.

God is the faithful shepherd who will not allow us to fall victim to overpowering temptations as the shepherd will not allow the lamb to fall prey to the lion or bear.

Paul didn’t quote any of Psalm 23, but the basic principles of Psalm 23 support the principle behind 1 Cor. 10:23.
