The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a useful guide. The Good Samaritan cared for the man in need in that man’s own country. He didn’t campaign that those in need should be brought to Samaria to receive help. |

Jesus never took issue with government and laws. On the contrary, he said to render to Caesar what is Caesar’s and we are required to obey the laws of the land. This comes from a guy, who believes that most immigrants are a net plus to America. I wor…See More |

One could argue that God and Jesus has set up a no entry to all those who have not believed. (ie) heaven and hell, thus He is turning away more than He is accepting in. On the other hand in the O T God permitted His people to take over the land of other nations. So I don’t think the bible gives us much help when we think of immigrants.. |

Yes Steve Maxwell Jesus crossed ALL borders and still does. He is still illegal immigrant in many countries and in some churches Bless GOD! |

Amen Troy Day. We should follow Jesus’ example and go to where the needs are instead of posturing that we bring those that are in need to America through a ‘survival of the fittest’ system. I find it fascinating how many argue that our government sho…See More |

Hugh Lowrie At the same time Jesus recognized the walls of Jerusalem like Ricky Grimsley said though Jesus did say stone over stone shall not remain. So what should be our Pentecostal answer to legal and illegal immigration? Who knows? |
Hugh Lowrie |
What did Jesus mean by “stone over stone shall not remain”? Jesus was prophesying that destruction would come to Jerusalem. But that doesn’t mean that destruction of our walls is what He commands or even what He desires for us. |
Hugh Lowrie |
I actually like the concept of opening our doors but based on everything we know about Jesus He would want us to act as individuals and open our homes, not using open national borders for political gain and the expense of ‘the least of these’. |

The heavenly Jerusalem is said to have walls but some say its a pyramid. We know for a fact there will be NO illegal immigration in heaven. Only legally saved by the blood of the Lamb. That one’s for sure Ricky Grimsley Also pretty sure all believers are all looking for a political asylum into heavens. |

If you are born in America, you are not an immigrant. If you want to go on back in time, even the natives immigrated here through a frozen Artic. |
