Daniel 2:34 (KJV) Thou sawest till that a STONE was cut out WITHOUT HANDS, which SMOTE the IMAGE upon his FEET that were of iron and clay, and BRAKE them to PIECES.
The stone broke the statue into pieces. The statue was crushed like powder and a wind blew the statue away. The STONE that struck the STATUE became a great MOUNTAIN [kingdom] and FILLED the whole earth.
But, the “decider” of verses 35 and 45 IS God Himself who SELECTED the “stone” out of the FIRST MOUNTAIN. God, after destroying the “image” with the “stone,” GREW the “stone” into a “great mountain [which] FILLED the whole earth” leaving NO PLACE for the first “mountain.”
So, what does the first “mountain” represent?
The stone REPRESENTED the second coming of Christ.
