“Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:”
– Romans 3:13

I thought I was looking at an animal. But the more I thought about it I realized it was no animal but the human animal. Debased and dead and empty. A man with no life or hope. I don’t mean to be critical. Not judging according to appearances. I just knew the glory and image of God was lost. Wrecked and lost.
I sharing the love of God in the person of Jesus Christ. The forgiveness and promise of God. Salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. The Saviour.
I honestly couldn’t figure out why he looked so strange. It wasn’t his language or his mocking or the crack pipe in his hands. I think it was the look in his eyes. Darkness found a home in his soul.
I could tell he was up to no good he was bound up in sin and desire. Full of pride and schemes.
He’s going to get over on somebody tonight. He’ll find a victim somewhere tonight. He’ll lose a little bit more of his soul tonight. That what the Bible teaches. The soul that sins dies. A little bit more here or there. Soon there is no light only darkness and death and hell.
I’ve seen him before. But today we talked. Maybe Jesus will spare his life. I pray something will be stirred in his soul. That Jesus will save and deliver him before it’s to late.
Hell will be full of good people. The very best. The most noble. Heady and high minded and up tight people will be there. Regular church folks. Unbending unyielding unrepentant.
The Bible also says there’s none righteous no not one. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Sin and pride and rebellion and unbelief are universal. It knows no bounds or race or tribe. Sin kills everything and everyone it touches.
Sure hope I see him again. He’s probably a nice guy, just lost and in need of a Saviour. That makes two of us.

I know for a fact that that author is not a racist Why do you feel the account is esoteric as you called it earlier ?

  • Reply March 3, 2019

    John-Mark Neal Hales

Racist? Where did that come from? It’s esoteric because the article is unclear, as in not forthcoming about its point.

Who doesn’t dream about being busy doing God’s work. A man can dream can’t he?

    Esoteric:
intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest.

    Don’t seem to good?

Sure a man can dream. I dreamt about a big cake the other night, but that doesn’t mean a web site is going to publish it. My question is what does this article mean?

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

answers don’t always come so easy. I sure you would understand the meaning look again at your lost neighbor, your loved ones in the tavern spending their paycheck on Friday night, your coworker that had a fight with their husband or wife last night…
and pray you can see the hurt and hopelessness and death in this old world my dear brother and know Christ is our only hope God bless you and keep you in Jesus name

Prayed with a demon possessed girl on heroin about 4 times today she stood in one spot 3 hours groaning and yelling. God in his mercy brought her back. So I heated up some lasgna and she ate like nothing happened. She said I must have been asleep. She heard the gospel with rejoicing and the name of Jesus with faith. I think she’s coming around. 🙂

Jesus brings people back to life. He’s good that way. It was only a little trial. First time she let anyone get near her let alone pray for her, after two months!
