– Mark 14:37
We sow in hope. But it’s a false hope without a plow. The ground must be broken. Nobody wants to be the bad guy. I don’t. It’s scarey sometimes telling a man they have a hard heart. To examine their motives and the things they do and call it sin. It’s like standing in an empty cave. Working in darkness. Silence. Nothing. Or dropping a pebble and waiting for the splash. Will the heart be touched. Will the spirit and conscience be stirred to rememberence and life.
But the fruit is conviction and true repentance and grace and brokenness. I love hope. But the only hope I know is repentance and turning from sin and trusting in Jesus Christ.
