A word to the Spirit-filled churches: Be sending stations, not charismatic holding tanks.
Change is in the air! The days of the big ministries have been good, for the most-part, touching the lives of millions in mega-churches, Bible schools, over the air waves, in books and other media.
But the Lord is speaking to me that many have become charismatic holding tanks rather than sending stations, holding believers back, using them in little, nominal ways, not trusting Holy Spirit within them and encouraging and supporting them for Jesus to be doing big things through them for the Kingdom.
“A word to the Spirit-filled churches: Be sending stations, not charismatic holding tanks”
For those churches and ministries that have been static or losing ground, in spite of being Spirit-filled, the Lord would say:
“Don’t just teach my people and use their natural talents, but release my people and encourage their supernatural gifts and callings to change the world, then see what will happen.
“Encourage them to teach, preach and prophecy, to heal, restore and multiply. For, you see, I have called each of them, without exception, and have ministries for them to accomplish. Send them out to plant new churches, to speak, to write, to witness, to reach the lost at home and abroad.
“Restoration, revitalization, awakening, and real growth will come only upon activation of My people. Some will rise up to serve on their own, but others must be encouraged that they will be accepted and supported. That is the call to equip the saints. It is pro-active, not passive.
“I am calling My people to higher heights, for there is much to be done in these last days. My people be ready, and those who lead, fear not but trust, for you must equip, encourage, release, and support them for Me to use them to the fullest in this hour.”
