How many sins are there in the world (if we try to number them) and how many listed sins are there in the Bible?
Some put it at 700 and more in the Bible….(I dont know about the world list….)
Figuratively you need 700 closed doors…all the time so that no demon can enter but what if the demon is in already?
You must open the door for it to leave….then shut it and that is what deliverance does…cast out the demon then shut the door.
Doors of sin are opened by the owner of the house…all the time.No Satan or demon can door crash…Never.
It is by two ways, self invitation and breaching the law Gods law..

There is an annual camp meeting of Christians and mostly ministers I gather called the Lake Hamilton Bible Camp..
I have read and listened to the teachings and live deliverance and there has been demonic manifestations.
If you have time can you visit their site or Google and then listen to their teachings.
It is a Christian gathering ….and demons came out of people..

I finally found something about the Church Of God. But what I found first was someone preaching in a language I couldn’t understand. And a small boy preached. I think I finally found probably the right thing. It had Church names I knew from the Church Of God. But I study pretty deep into the Word on Friday and Saturday. Because I teach a Sunday School class on Sunday. And I study for that. A lot of Churches doesn’t have Sunday School any more. But our Churches around here still does. Our State Overseer is suppose to preach Sunday Morning. We pre record every service. Nor Sunday School. Singing and Preaching. Go to Shirley Cummings McSpadden. And stroll down through there until you find our church. Gate Way Church Of God. Russellville Alabama. Our camera just picks up the front.you can see and heat our praise team. And the message and altar service. Try to pick us up sometime. About 10:45 or 50. On Sunday Morning. 5:00 on Sunday night. And 6:30. On Wednesday nights. Le me know if you find us it will pick up way down in other States.

As long as their parents are Adam’s descendants who bore in him the law of sin and death and transferred it to ALL HUMANITY, it is utterly naive to think that a Christian cannot have a demon..
. I don’t believe that at all…I have seen enough stuff to ignore completely that statement..completely.
Can sanctification “cast out” a demon that has a legal hold on a person? Try to drive away the spirit of Jezebel by sanctification and see if budges….or try to silent a spirit of pride or witchcraft with sanctification and see the results..
Crucify the flesh, cast out the demon go hand in hand..

We all know of only ONE DIVINE birth because it was decreed from above..and He came from above.
Spirit gives birth to spirit and flesh gives birth to flesh and siblings of flesh are “fleshy”
Outside of Jesus, all other human beings are born of descendants of Adam and Eve(even if in a test tube) and consequently inherit issues with which to deal with from sin to demons and curses and many many other things which a simple sinners prayer does not immediately cleanse away like a dirt coat in a dry cleaner..

That is a very minimal number compared to the 2000 demons in the Gadarenes incident..
Suppose the Gadarenes lunatic became a “Christian” and joined a demonational. Church where demon casting is taboo..He would still have the 2000 plus some more local demons.
Suppose the Gadarenes maniac came to a church which believes in a false theology that says “a Christian” can’t have a demon. What do you think will happen?.
The theological experts of the parish will look up in the doctors listing to find a “specialist” in mental issues..

The demoniac of gadara was also not a believer so the fact that he’s possessed doesn’t help the argument. The warning about demons coming back could be a thing. If a person is delivered from demonic possession and yet does not surrender his life to Christ then there is absolutely an opportunity for him to be possessed again.

What’s the use of ongoing sanctification if at salvation we become “whole*” clean*…sinless..?
I agree “flesh” or old nature is there but that should not be the basis or central point to argue against the issue of “Christians” having demons..
When we argue that a Christian cannot have a demon we are really saying that the great commision should be amended and fit our theological misinterpretation/interpretation.
But the commission is simple straighfoward meant to be understood to any believer..
It reads and I quote part…. //
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe:
*****In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mark 16:15-17 NIV//
The verse simply says you will drive demons STOP
It doesn’t say you cast out demons from certain groups of peoples or certain types of people’s but you will cast out demons..
The most dangerous spirit which is behind this false theology that says a “Christian” cannot have a demon is fundamentally of religious nature..
Am not surprised that Jesus didn’t cast out demons from Saducees and Pharicees or the elders who opposed and ridiculed his PRACTISE openly..yet were never absent in any session of His.

Isara I will give you credit you asked the right question that will reveal why we will never agree on this point and so I’m happy to answer that question. “Does a believer become sinless at salvation?” My answer, absolutely! Positionally anyway. Practically we grow in holiness but positionally at the root which is the heart we are sinless at the moment Christ saves us. Nothing can make me cleaner than the blood of Jesus and there is no sin or curse or demon that his blood doesn’t instantaneously eradicate when it is applied to our hearts. This is why I don’t believe In a second work of grace called sanctification nothing will make me cleaner or more free than the blood of Jesus. To insist that there is some demon or sin etc that can is an insult to the blood of Christ and a belittling of his work. Now we never reach a place where we never sin in practice until we get to heaven. But our relationship to sin changes and over time our practices change thought they are never perfect. That’s why the reformers spoke of the term “simul justus et pecattor” or at the same time justified and sinner. We never get to a place of sinless perfection this side of heaven but we hate sin and we war against it.

Troy I’ve never read anywhere that there were demonized church member in those churches. Scripture doesn’t say that. Jezebel could be a literal false teacher or symbolic of false teachings in the church. If she was a literal person then a false teacher is obviously not a believer and again the text doesn’t say she was possessed. None of these texts say what you are implying they say.

Jimmy Pearson It is pretty clear you have never read If you have we wouldnt be having this very discussion William DeArteaga and Isara Mo will tell you well that MOST mainline commentaries read that Jezebel of Revelation was Dorcas from Acts; brought into the church with a miracle she mixed what she knew from mixing colors and making occult clothes – a very common mid-Eastern practice into the NT church for WHICH Jesus in His Revelation called her Jezebel describing her praxis as namely DEMONIC So goes for 99% of the other named persons causing spiritual and leadership problems in the 7 churches And thier LONG list is only in 7 out of the hundreds churches in Asia during the time of John – the last living apostle Read my article on leadership, economic and cultural problems in the 7 churches of Revelation before you comment next It aint that simple as you think
