..man claims to be the master of his own ship until the storm comes the waves crash and the bow is broken . then hes in the water with the sailor the cook and the cargo . In a culture with no masters wanted full of self will and self determinism I stand with Christ the lowly Nazarene . a bond servant , ready and willing to call him my Master . to follow him in the way of life and in the way of death . Death to pride and self will . death to stubbornness and rebellion . Alive unto God my Saviour by faith in Jesus Christ . sin is no longer my Master . Jesus Christ is my Master . Master of the wind and waves . He is my safe harbor and my heavenly rest . my portion . my morning star . May our lives be hidden in him . What looks like darkness is the but the shadow of his wing . peace .
