Mark Gonzales | PentecostalTheology.comAnd God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Were was this Light at if there was no firmament, for sure I know that the light for the world was made on the 4th day. It comes to mind that it could of been Jesus the Light to come. The wisdom made before the foundation of the Earth. The Light of Heaven as for sure he will be the light in the new Jerusalem. The first and the Last. The alpha and the omega.. alphabet in Greek. In John 1, it speaks about the Light: The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. God is eternal with no Beggining or Ending. This creation has a beggining and an ending and the beggining it starts with in book of John.. saying in the begining was the word(light) and the word(Light) was with God(spirit) and the word was God, the same were in the “beggining”. In the beggining of Genesis first thing made was the Light

If the light created in Gen 1:3 were Jesus, that would make Him a created being, rather than eternally co-existent with the Father and Spirit. That would be Arianism, denounced at the Council of Nicaea

Well if you read wisdom is jesus and a light. I bwalive God can make himself as anything. He is in all and everything holds up because of him.if you read the last part of John 1:1 the same was in the beginning. It means equal. God does robe himself in light as scriptures speaks
