Perry Stone Ministries | April 29 at 11:58 AM ·
For many years now, Perry has consistently preached between 4 and 8 times per week. Most months, he does not have even a single day off. In the meantime, he has spent 7 years writing his Old and New Testament commentary Bibles while still publishing new books every year – not to mention the numerous conferences, prayer meetings, and worship services he has led at OCI, and of course the Manna-Fest television program, which airs weekly.

This rigorous schedule has taken a huge toll on Perry’s health and mind. It has left him emotionally depleted and burnt out. Because of all of these factors, Perry needs an extended rest and time of healing. This time will allow him to seek spiritual renewal, emotional help, and physical healing.

Under the direction of the VOE board, Perry will be taking an extended sabbatical for an undetermined amount of time.. The ministry teams will continue their daily operations during his leave.

We ask that our partners and friends respect this time of privacy. All of your prayers are needed and very much appreciated. Perry will not be keeping office hours, taking phone calls, or responding to emails or letters during his absence. All correspondence will be handled by the ministry staff. Thank you for your understanding, and our teams are dependent upon your prayers and support.

He is no different than the rest of you guys.women can intrigue men them selves in a way that opens up the gate. I worked a short time in a ministry .
We were in a meeting . I was setting on sofa and I was listening . And I felt eyes on me . And I looked and the lead pastor was looking at my legs and almost salivating. I immediately pulled my dress as far down to floor as I could . I soon saw other things and heard other things that made me not want to be a part of any Job working with people.
Years before when I was a young girl I had a deacon catch me in a place were no one was for a short space of time , (he was and old fart). He reached and grabbed both sides of my face and tried to kiss me . Even though I was only a teen . I knew that was not right . I wrenched my self away and caught up with his wife and my mom. Never said a word to anybody. Just made myself scarce around him.
I now am an older lady and I have even had young men make eyes at me. But I do not entertain the look and get going about my businesses. I have seen women and men act in ways that suggest more than they intended.
I say this women who wants to be liberated they better learn how to shut a man or another woman down by opening their mouth and saying ,” something like , excuse me don’t say those things to me. Or you can shut up and leave now. “ .
So let’s all be grown ups and get on with the business of getting ready for heaven.

Evidently Perry is being present here to open his ministry up fault finding and gossip . Question. What ever happened to the scripture that says 1Ch_16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.?

Doyle Rogers that’s a cop out for people to never question something a minister does. How about testing all things with scripture rather than assuming someone is perfect in their actions. The true anointed one is Christ.

But otherwise I don’t see how this article is attacking the man.

It is more often an excuse for some immature christian to slash another to ribbons so they can elevate themselves. Until you have accurate revelation as to the specific happenings in this issue as well as permission from God to release that information, you would be using Godly wisdom to keep your mouth shut and your head bowed.

My conclusion That Perry Stone is being present here to open his ministry up fault finding and gossip is based on the track record here concerning other ministries. Question How does Perry Stones personal decision fit in with the subject of PENTECOSTAL THEOLOGY.

This man goes non stop. He has a schedule that keeps him very busy. But he has a awesome leadership and board that will keep things going. My previous ministry schedule had me to the point I had a burn out moment. Ministry is very rewarding but we are very human as well. Perry has a strong will and will do what God has called him to do.

Exactly what the article says. He needs a break. Not a break from the Lord but a break from Church. I salute him for taking time to recharge instead of Purim flat, non life changing messages into other.

No Varnel it is not understood. When you are given 0 revelation as to the specifics of a matter all you are left with is conjecture. I suggest everyone abandon conjecture and keep your head bowed and your eyes on God.

The same thing happened to Rick Renner, missionary to Russia in Moscow. He went nonstop for years and his board made him take an extended rest. He came back stronger than ever, with his family members now engaged in the ministry with him. No man can do it all himself, ministry must be shared as the body.

This article was partly taken from a post on his FB page. I commend the board for helping Perry take a Sabbatical rest. I never knew he had a schedule like that. I pray for Perry to be renewed and revived by the Lord. I pray for his family as well. Let’s all lift him up in prayer

Perry Stone was raised up within an atmosphere of urgency OF THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION . that supersedes most ministers.. His father was the same way. He was aware of Ezekiel Chapter nine ….Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

We love you and Pam. We meet you and Pam , back in the old days….down in Florida and we spoke at the Prophecy Convention. You are in our hearts and we dearly love you. You deserve a long vacation and just take it easy. We are about the same age, I keep telling my husband slow down, take care of yourself. The one thing , Im glad of , is that you slowed down in your preaching, in otherwords… you use to talk so fast it was hard to keep up with you then. So, now, me and my hearing aid husband can understand and grasp more. Just know you are loved.

I’m so sad in my heart for Perry Stone…. His face shows the toil he has endured. I just a couple of mos ago found him online and I kept passing him by but 1 day I stopped passing him by and I watched his video… Thru him the Lord spoke to my brokenness and picked my heart up and restored my spirit filling my lungs with the air of hope , being so torn my hope had laid down to just die . Doesn’t matter what foolish folks think , say, or feel about him I am up off the ground and back in the saddle again because this man devoted his all to preaching and teaching the word of God . I’m very thankful for Perry Stone and to God for him. Take the time Perry Stone that you need to heal what the enemy wants to destroy… God is going to bring this man back in a perfect time with a perfect word ….. Praying for Perry Stone from Texas

I could cite dozens of scriptures from not speculating, not sticking your nose into somebody elses business, restoring someone who has fallen, praying for others, lifting them up instead of tearing them down, wheat and the tares, offenses, having ought against you or others, the scriptures are endless as we all well know.
An article which states he is taking a needed break is not precise revelation as to the specifics of the issues. Until God or Perry provides someone with the specifics of the issue at hand as well as permission to reveal it to others; everybody needs to keep their conjecture to themselves and offer it to God and not man. Let God do with your sacrifice of conjecture what God will choose to do with it.
I don’t have to guess, do you? Give your sacrifice of praise to God for the gift of Perry and your sacrifice of edification to Perry, the ministry and the family.
I absolutely abhor christian cannibals. This is time when we are called to unite in corporate prayer and that is scripture.

You have written very arrogantly. It would be nobody’s business if Perry’s personal life would not have been posted on facebook or in a bulletin. It would be better to take care of the problems within his ministry with the persons involved, not the public. And move on. The world doesn’t need to know. Because of how it was done, no one stuck their nose in his business. We opened up facebook one day and there it was. When it is approached that way, opinions of all kinds come into yes, even Christians, minds. Because of Perry’s credibility, all Christians can stand firm that he will work through it with yes, the Christians prayers for him. It is coronavirus time. He needs to take a break with the rest of us and prepare for returning as he has. And, I will have to say by the loveless piece you wrote, that you are most absolutely the worst christian cannibal in the church. If you don’t agree, for heaven’s sake, read what you wrote to your Christian brothers and sisters.

All of us are human and should be mindful to heed God’s Word to take a Sabbath break every week. Preachers (except SDA) can’t do that on Sundays, but they should make sure to have at least one “down” day a week for restoration – ANY mind and body is vulnerable during unceasing activity leading to spiritual, mental, and physical exhaustion.

I have fed on Gods word often fed from Perry’s hand. My prayers are for him, and not a word against him. Being a mom of 4 kids on the spectrum from asperger’s to full on autistic, I know how naturally driven those on the spectrum can be, (and brother Perry is both the most driven and the most prolific writer and teacher I’ve ever seen). He himself taught that after Elijiah was so successful at defeating Jezebel and her prophets at mount carmel, that Elijiah was exhausted. Ive heard brother Perry teach, that it’s exhaustion that causes us to act in ways not consistant with what we know to be right in the Lord, (anything from a wrong attitude to a poor choice in actions) fact is it doesnt matter! Because its at that point that the enemy not only tries to ensnare the Lords faithful servants, but the enemy will also attempt to insite the very people brother Perry ministers to, to condemn him. Its called condemnation and it has no place in the body of Christ. If I never heard another word from brother Perry’s pulpit (and I hope that isnt the case) I would consider him a great man in the Lord and a truly successful teacher and preacher of the word. I am glad he has a board that seeks to both protect him and challenge him to rest. Those like my sons, on the spectrum, often only have their emotional throttle in the fast forward position. I pray for Perry stone’s board. I pray for brother Perry, for rest, restoration and for more balance as he comes into his later years. I am only a year younger than he, and I too have had a small crisis that came from failing to see my own need to adjust my life to a slow growing need for more rest and a more realistic pace. The years are creeping up on us all and natural changes in strength and energy can cause any of us a mistep (of any kind). For sure It takes humility and wisdom to adjust to our new normal, be it because of age, energy, or our new covid normal. Please know my love and prayers are with brother Perry and his board. I have no doubt that he will get what ever he needs.
