Bill Stockham | PentecostalTheology.com[I will raise You on high Abba Father, I will lift You up with David’s psalm of praise! From a hymn “Through all eternity to thee-A joyful song I’ll raise-But O, eternity’s too short-To utter all thy praise!] “I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. EVERY DAY I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. GREAT IS THE LORD AND MOST WORTHY OF PRAISE; his greatness NO ONE CAN FATHOM.” (Psa. 145:1-3) [The Lord is gracious – His holy nature is ever disposed to show favor. Full of compassion – Wherever he sees misery, his eye affects his heart. Slow to anger – When there is even the greatest provocation. Of great mercy – Our Abba Father is great in his abundant mercy. These four things give us a wonderful display of the goodness of His Divine nature!] “The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.” (Psa. 145:8-9) [We serve a God who has created an EVERLASTING KINGDOM; we shall be with Him FOREVER!] “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. THE LORD UPHOLDS ALL WHO FALL and lifts up all who are bowed down.” (Psa. 145:13-14) [Whoever calls upon God in truth, with a honest and upright heart, a person that truly desires his salvation, to that person GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT THERE!] “THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL WHO CALL ON HIM, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.” (Psa. 145:18-19) [Jesus answered the woman at the well…] “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them WILL NEVER THIRST. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and HIS WORSHIPERS MUST WORSHIP IN THE SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.” (John 4:13, 14, 23-24)
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that WE WILL WORSHIP OUR ABBA FATHER IN THE SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH!
