The Calvinist get a new convert every time a Pentecostal preacher falls into sin, doesn’t want to stop his sinning but wishes to keep his comfortable life. He does this by blaming everything on God.

I try again to answer. Sometimes I find it hard to believe you can change the Will Of God, unless it’s like he rebelling , and go against God and live a life if sin and go to hell. When it’s Gods will for us to go to Heaven. We have Bible that Moses and Ezekiel , both prayed a prayer. And God changed His Mind. But does Will and Mind , mean the same thing. I don’t.believe the two words mean the same.

If you consider the divine attributes of God, namely omniscience, and straight-up existing outside of limitations of linear time, you would have to reach a conclusion, that God had to know about your prayer, prior to the act of creation itself, which would imply, that his consideration of your prayer (as well as the lack of it thereof) would have been included in the grand design from the get-go.
PS: The logic of the matter would imply, that knowledge, and consideration of every aspect of everything comes with the territory of omniscience… Unless you are one of those people, who argue, that God has given up on his omniscience in order, to make the universe fundamentally unpredictable, to make human free will possible.

Then the way I look at it. If we walk over what God says and do our own thing , and go to hell when it’s Gods will is for us to go to Heaven. Isn’t changing His Will. It’s still His Will for us to Heaven. But we walk in disbelief. That’s of doing that. It isn’t His Will still to go to hell. We have walked over His Will and done our own thing. So I really don’t believe we can change His Will. But maybe His Mind sometimes. But not His Will.

Yes I believe in all of the attributes of God. I believe He was Omnipresent , Omnipotent, And Omnipresent. He knows everything. But don’t you believe He really meant for Hezekiah was going to really die , if he hadn’t turned his face to the wall and prayed. And God added seven more years to his life. Don’t you believe prayer changes things. If I didn’t believe he was going to hear my prayer. I wouldn’t bother to pray about it but I believe He Hears and answers our prayers.

Does prayer change God’s mind? Does prayer change things? The answer to the first is, no, God does not change His mind. The answer to the second is, yes, prayer changes things. So how can prayer change circumstances without changing God’s mind?
First of all, in order for God to change His mind, He would have to improve upon Himself in some way. In other words, if God changed His mind, that action would suggest that His first way of thinking was deficient, but, because we prayed, He improved His plan concerning our situation. We change our minds when we see a better way to do something. We thought A but realized B was better, so we change our mind. But, since God knows all things, the beginning from the end (Revelation 22:13; Ephesians 1:4), it is not possible for Him to improve upon any plan that He has made. His plans are already perfect (2 Samuel 22:31), and He has stated that His plans will prevail (Isaiah 46:9–11).

It says in the Bible that when you pray, pray in the name of Jesus. There would not be much need of prayer if had all been decided beforehand. Man was born with a free will.
That means God doesn’t stop our actions or whatever sins we commit. We do it on our own. But if we pray, He is a loving God and He will forgive us.

If prayer cannot change Gods will nothing can.
I think the reason He says ASK and it will be given unto you is because He has already decreed a thing…but knows someone will entreat Him..

If we ASK according to proticol He hears then…?
//And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

The Will.stands as long as no one opens their mouth to repent, it is a kind of a you dont do it I dont do it game..
But again there are scenarios that prayer cannot change His willl eg when Jesus prayed that the cup be taken away from him at the last hour and received no answer he had to conceede that His(Gods will be done..).
If a person confesses Jesus as a Saviour, Gods wrath(will) on the person is automatically revoked.. but if he doesnt confess the Lord Jesus as Saviour the wrath remains in force.
Am just wondering why didnt Adam pray when he messed up…we might not have been in the situation we are today…

Not the will of God but some projected plan of God like bringing disaster to Israelites to chastise them for their unbelief (cf., Exodus 32:14).

We will not usher in Jesus’ kingdom unless and until He returns. We will not institute justice and peace. We will not change the world system. We can shed some light in the darkness. But we will not eliminate the darkness.
Is that pessimistic? I think not. It is realistic. I think it is hubris to think that we do not need the return of Christ to change our world. We are to live each day longing for our Lord’s return (cf. Matt 24:40-44, 45-51; Luke 19:16-26; 1 Cor 9:24-27; 2 Tim 2:12; 4:6-8; 1 John 2:28). The Lord Jesus in the last chapter of the Bible says, “Surely I am coming quickly” (Rev 22:20a). The Apostle John responds, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev 22:20b).” That is what we mean when we pray, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
