Troy Day John 15:26 does not mention tongues. Not clear all spoke in tongues in Acts 10 and 19. Andno examples bind the Spirit to act the same way every time.

I Timothy 3:1. Overseer is to be a man. A one woman man.

OP is about pastor not overseers, bishops, etc.
Link Hudson
Either a pastor is an overseer, or pastors are not in charge of the church. The Bible does not say that the apostles ordained ‘pastors’ or told pastors to oversee the church. Paul Martin II did tell the overseers to pastor, and that God had made them overseers.
If the Biblical gift of pastor can exist without ordination, without the authority to oversee churches, women may have this gift. Paul was writing about the ordained overseer ministry in I Timothy 3. If ‘pastor’ exists as a separate ministry (or some people have the gift without being overseers) then pastors should submit to the elders of the church.
The ‘priest’.’elder’ role got dubbed ‘pastor’ in Geneva during the Reformation. The Scottish popularized it in certain other branches of Protestantism. They invented a new church office and called it ‘elder’– a kind of non-pastoral board position, messing up the concept of elder/priest in the minds of a lot of readers.
So the question is do you mean women can be ‘pastors’ in the Biblical sense of the word, or in the normal sense Pentecostals use it. Another question is what is the BIblical meaning of ‘pastor.’
The way we use the word has a lot of baggage to it and we do not use it quite the way the Bible does.

ask Luke he was high on woman

I believe God will forgive women becoming Pastors who have seen many many, and perhaps so many individuals who got saved during their ministry. And He will forgive them for the multitudes who became much stronger in their relationship with Jesus because of their teaching and preaching ministry. And I think God will forgive them for Pastoring when they see how many have gone to heaven because of their ministry and they rejoice to see one another in heaven and stand faultless before Him at the Judgment seat of Christ. I dont believe they will loose their salvation because of it nor loose their reward for the works they have done. I dont think Jesus will say to them ” You naughty Christian – you shouldn’t have become a Pastor. Yes – I believe in women Pastors. They are part of the Body of Christ and in Christ they are neither male nor female but a new creation. Christ the Head of His body the Church.

Nympha did have a church in her house Col 4. It appears woman pastored in partnership with their husbands such as Tryphosa and Tryphena in Romans 16 and Stephanas and Fortunatas in Corinth, not to fail in mentioning Priscilla and Aquila with Apollos.

stats are out – did you see them yet?
Daniel J Hesse
Troy Day no what was your take?
Link Hudson
That I do not her is why anyone would assume that hostong a church in your house makes you the pastor of it. Makes no sense at all. I encountered that idea crom a house church guy, too, once.
Daniel J Hesse
Link Hudson I said partnership not pastorate.
