In recent years, as Chinese authorities cracked down on underground services as part of broader restrictions on religious groups

Your brothers and sisters in China are entering a significant era of persecution. Perhaps you have read about the Social Credit System — this will allow the Chinese authorities to use mortgages, jobs, financial resources, and even access to public transit as a means to pressure Christians to deny Christ. Those who refuse to do so will be basically barred from society.  Your brothers and sisters need your prayer for grace and strength to endure this.
